The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

It was that time of the year again, in the village. Kids ran around with their year's earnings, spending it on cotton candy, noodles, little prizes, and typical carnival games. Lights streamed up every building and stand. There was an endless row of venders on main street. Smiles seemed to be on everyone's faces, even if it was a bit chilly out this evening. Teenagers all came with dates, blushing and holding hands. Adults came with family, letting their kids enjoy the wonder and celebration. The festival of memories went on for 3 days and nights. Just enough time to see every event, but not so long that it became a bore or ran you broke.
A large wolf and girl were walking through the maze of people. It had just gotten dark, and so the line for the shrine was relatively short. It was custom to go up the hill to the shrine and pray for a good year. The girl with long flowing white hair and mainly white kimono had an extra prayer as well. Already, even as it was the first night, the trees around the shrine were filled with paper; the wishes of people. Every few seconds the bell in the shrine would chime and everyone moved one step closer.
Finally, it was their turn, the girl's and her companion wolf's. She took a piece of paper and wrote her wish, bowed, clapped, and rang the bell. They went to a tree that had not yet had wishes upon it, and she hung her note. She smiles triumphantly, and they began to descend to return to the other festivities.

Nudge. Push. Shove. Throw~
"Excuse me~ Bitch of major importance and sexiness wants to get in front~ Thank you, fugly people~"
Kenta would sing happily as he would casually flick people out of his way, creating a nice little path to the shrine ahead of him. Although he was a an Ex-Shippu ninja, he remembered the place like he did his own body. He knew every short cut, road, building and shop. Granted, some of the shops that were once open were now closed but the line for the shrine was something that he always knew. Oh yes. Usually filled with the ugly with the few odd ninja here and there but a simple Raiton burst into their body would be enough to stun them for awhile. Good thing that no one had recognized him with his brand new suit which resembled something like an undertaker kind of look. not like he would notice, having been blind and all.
As he got to the end, he noticed two odd chakra natures. One was human, female of about Chuunin rank and a dog...? A wolf? Smelled like any other canine he had encountered in his time. Then again, he spent no time in familiarizing himself with them, just the usual hack and slash. He had little time for the domestic animals. As he approached the two, he simply began to flail behind them, arms in the air as he would moan and groan in frustration, his excitement levels reaching their tippy top caps.
"Bwah! I wanna go next~! C'mon~!"
He would complain, the complaint that one would hear a 4 year old making in a candy shop. Seriously! These two were taking so long! Hell, one of them didn't have hands for gods sake!!

Chihiro had a knack for ignoring annoying people, which included the person behind her in line. She simply took her turn and went to tie her wish. The wolf pinned her ears back in annoyance. Mother was not a fan of loud people. The pair shrugged off the annoying man and decided to go on having a good time. Chihiro assumed that because it was now his turn he would stop throwing his tantrum.
They moved to a lineless pot sticker stand, and ordered an extra large order of steak stickers. This would seem ridiculous looking at the size of the girl, but she ate like a wolf and had a wolf to feed as well. They sat on an empty bench, put the chop stick on the bench and began to dig in. Chihiro shoved her hand in, grabbing and shoveling food into her mouth, while the wolf just shoved her face in and gorged.

Oh goody! They moved away from the shrine and flew off...a few feet to a food stall? Damn~ Wait no...that was good! He could have people to talk to! The woman had a wolf with her so...was she an Inuzuka? But weren't they usually accompanied with a dog and not a wolf? How odd...meh, whatever works for her. Shrugging, he skipped up the shrine before planting his ass on the ground, and pulling out a sheet of paper and pencil with an eraser on the end of it. Thinking for a moment of what his wish was going to be, Kenta began to gently tap the tip of the pencil off his chin as he would think of the wish he wanted and how he was going to express it. He couldn't write his wish, nor could he draw a picture...Unless he forced his chakra into the pencil like he did back in the Academy!
"Oh goody~!"
He said simply as a blue hue would surround his hand and the pencil grasped within it before writing down on the paper. As he wrote each character down on the paper, he would see his chakra emanate from the lead of the pencil, giving him vision of what he was doing. The only way he could see what he was doing.
"I wish for...longer mornings..."
He would murmur to himself as he would bite his lip, slightly bouncing on the spot where he sat.
"So I...can...sleep longer!"
He would say with relief, a satisfied look on his face grew on his face. Mind you, he'd never done one of these festivals, even when he was a member of the village. And then a problem arose...he was meant to fold it up and make it pretty but...he couldn't see it!
"Uhmm...shit."
He whispered as he would begin an attempt on folding the paper into a swan, failing several times...frustration levels were building as his face would turn red and his hands would shake...mother of god. As his frustration rose, smalls crackles of lightning would emit from his shoulders and biceps.

Chihiro leaned back on the bench as the stickers disappeared. Her eyes were ready to close and have her drift off to sleep. One hand sat on her very full belly. Her wolf laid at her feet, sprawled out. Her tongue was hanging out the side of her mouth to signal how full she was.
A few kids whispered as they slowly came up to the pair. Their eyes were wide as the looked down upon the wolf and looked up at Chihiro with hope. She smiled and nodded, as to say it was safe and they have permission at the same time.
The kids quickly went to their knees and began to pet the white wolf. The wolf's tail wagged with glee, welcoming the contact. Chihiro's eyes looked to the sky. It was now dark enough; the fireworks display would begin soon.
The kids ran off, to continue their adventures at the festival. Chihiro climbed to her feet, and mother followed suit. Time to go to the secret spot.

Children would begin to run around his general area before stopping at the wolf that had been accompanying the woman from earlier on...urgh. how children just annoyed him beyond hells barrier. How easy it would be for him to just raise one hand and slap them into oblivion but no! Not today. Today was going to be his day off from killing people. He noticed how the girl would then get to her feet, her wolf standing beside her, as if the both were ready to leave. Why? Why were they going to leave?
Before she could leave, Kenta shot out his arm and grabbed her kimono gently, tugging at it slightly just incase he hadn't gotten her attention beforehand.
"Uhm...'Scuse? Help a cripple out?"
He asked nicely, turning his head and smiling, cocking his head in a playful manner. Hopefully she was going to do a good deed and help him out but...if he got into a little brawl...that'd be interesting enough. Just image the wonders there would be for him to fight against a ninja who used an animal in her fighting style. Perhaps she was an Inuzuka? Ninken bloodline was an interesting one.

As someone caught onto her kimono, she was slightly surprised. Her eyes widened as Chihiro looked back at the person who had held onto her. It was the loud and rude man from the line. He was asking for assistance, due to being impaired. He did indeed have his eyes covered by a white cloth, symbolizing blindness.
Mother had her ears pinned back and was showing her teeth. This meant to Chihiro, who ever this was, could not be trusted. Her eyes narrowed cautiously. "What can I help you with, sir?" she said calmly, even as she tensed, thinking of what his true intentions could be. She was really unsure.
She wanted to play it cool, as many civilians were around, and besides the bad vibe he gave off, he had not done anything wrong, other than being rude as so far. That was not a true offense, just poor manners. It wasn't really something she could call him out on.

He heard her question, to which he simply stared at her, his gaze baring through her face...seriously? Did she just ask a blind person, trying to fold paper into a bow, what he needed help with? He began to wonder what sort of Chuunin were being raised since he had left the village. If he was still an Instructor, this would never have happened. Seriously. He shook his head to snap out of his little daze before going to reply to her...ignorant question, fully ignoring her little pet.
"...I need help with this."
He said simply as he would then point to the little paper wish thingie that she had done earlier, other villagers behind him began to grow impatient with every passing moment, some even throwing dirty remakes to the blind Oura member...oh poor people. Soon they will feel true pain. His attention turned back to the woman and her mutt. She seemed to be wary of him to an extent. Least he knew her mutt had sense. They should be wary. But today was his day off and he didn't want to have to get into any unnecessary fighting.

She looked at the paper, and softly lifted it out of the blind man's hands. She began to remove the current creases in the paper, and was soon irritated by the slow grow of murmur from the crowd behind the blind man. She wasn't listening before, but as it caught her attention she noted that it was a circus of rude comments toward the man she was now helping. Her eyes narrowed with disgust.
Mother felt her partner's sudden distaste and stepped behind the man and before the crowd. Mother gnarled her sharp teeth and barked ferociously. The crowd instantly silenced to a gasp of shock, and backed off. Chihiro smiled triumphantly and she had folded the paper into a swan. It even moved its head and wings, if you gently pulled on them. She lightly placed the origami into the blind man's hand.

He felt the paper being taken from his hands rather gently. Odd, he could feel tension from both her and her mutt none but two minutes ago and her entire demeanour changed within a second. What was her plan? Was she going to try something or was she simply just Bi-Polar? Oh well, Kenta could feel nothing from her but at the distance her and her growling dog, now holding back the villagers from starting an uproar, Kenta was going to have to keep his guard up incase anything came up. Being ready is key.
"Thank you~"
He said as he felt the paper being placed into his hands, the girl having finished her help for him. He gently placed the paper swan in front of him, making sure not to knock off any other wishes. Other wise there was going to be an uproar and a sea of blood in the air. Again, his day off, not wanting any hassle from bitches. Getting up on his feet, he stretched for a moment before patting away the dirt from his nice black trousers. Looking at the girl and where she was, he jumped on to a ledge behind her, having gracefully leaped over her head, and sat gently down before raising his arms in the air like he just didn't care.
"Thanks very much for the help, ninken child! Any way I can pay you back."
He asked cheerfully, flailing around on the ledge where he was perched.

Chihiro noted the ability this man had to land on a ledge, right behind Mother and herself. This had to mean he had some ability to compensate for his lack of vision. Her eyebrow rose with question, and she looked over her shoulder at him.
"Oh no sir, I'm just happy to be of help." She explained. The crowd had dispersed, now able to hang their wishes and had followed the placing by finding a good spot to watch the fireworks display.
