The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Whatever had possessed Rin into willingly traveling to Boufuugakure had long since been questioned. The place was a hell hole, it rained practically all the time! He couldn't have left the place quicker when he passed through the first time. But still, he was here for a reason he couldn't think of. Perhaps he had been assigned on a mission that required him to travel to the village? If he had been, Rin had already forgotten whatever it was he was meant to do. The dreadful rain had easily taken priority in his head. He tossed up his hood and adjusted the large flounder shaped sword that rested in a bandaged state on his back, held close and securely by the black holster that hugged his chest.
The village seemed uneventful at the moment, people went about their lives as the day went on. They even ignored the rain, a feat Rin would have trouble doing if it became required. He exhaled and began a short walk down a particularly narrow street. Luckily, some awnings or canopies above him seemed to block most of the rain, reducing it to just runoff that dripped down. It seemed to be quite quiet and peaceful, the sound of the dripping water being one of the only redeeming qualities about rain in Rin's opinion. However, he was stopped as he noticed a strange spectacle playing out in front of him. A very unusually dressed man seemed to be standing over a female with a much smaller frame and brown hair. She looked about as normal as the villagers back in Shippuugakure, so Rin could only assume that she wasn't a shinobi. He also noticed a knife in his hand, the cold steel pressed against the woman's neck. “This must be that moral compass thing I hear so much about.” Rin thought as he stared onward at the scene as it unfolded with a dead expression resting upon his face.
“Should I step in...? It's not really my place, this isn't even my village...” Rin stepped to the side of the narrow road and kept himself barely hidden in the shadows of the building on his left side. He didn't particularly care about being caught, but it seemed like the woman's assailant was a bit preoccupied with her to notice Rin's presence yet. So he just watched and waited, hoping that something interesting would happen or that something would be motivated to actually intervene.

Yuen’s morning was primarily one of something she could not have expected while in the long run she had known she was at the utmost in full occupancy of her own danger and knowledge. She was a demon, plain and simple and the beast inside of her confirmed that through and through. The Rokubi in all its glory allowed for her to be pleased in the manner of which she would look high to the sky and then directly forwards and out of her window, the morning rain was always her favorite with all of its puttering aptitude and galore.
Yuen would hear footsteps, having gotten used to the rain after her many months of living here she had found herself easily able to distinguish foot steps outside of her own home. She clothed herself in white shinobi gear, that being wrappings around her bosom, white leggings and a white top with fish net along her arms and legs to make up for the difference. She would head out dressed as this, her red hair long and independently strait and wild. Her eyes would look forwards in their red glow as she headed out, putting on the brown linen cloth parka as she jumped into the raining ally.
Her body had landed perfectly, her eyes set forwards as she would note the kunai and tools pouch on her leg as she would rush forwards and began running towards the destination required. Her eyes would scan and through such alleys the very action of doing this would allow her to even slide along the gathered water of the ground beneath her feet. Sliding until she finally looked and noticed someone there, an individual she had not expected being there to which she saw a knife pressed against a throat of a young girl. Her eyes immediately narrowed at the man, one of which she had thrown a kunai directly at the man, aiming for his arm and if it didn’t kill him she would completely destroy him later on.

Watching everything unfold before his eyes that were shrouded by the darkness of the building he leaned upon was very... dull. He could only faintly hear the desperate whimpers of the woman who seemed to be too submissive to save herself, but the male's commanding voice was much more audible as it barked orders and shouted at her. Rin had contemplated intervening, simply for the reason that it might be entertaining, but he reconsidered upon realizing that the woman being threatened wouldn't learn anything from it. She'd be given the impression that whenever she was in trouble, there would be somebody to rescue her, leaving her woefully unprepared for the dangers of the world they lived in. Rin had seen the dangers first hand, he knew them well – even greeted them like an old friend.
An out of place sound alerted him of another's presence. His ears weren't trained to ignore the sound of the pattering rain, but they were trained to detect small things like the sound of somebody landing on concrete pavement. His attention was brought to a strange looking girl who didn't look that much older than himself, even younger perhaps. She was dressed in a peculiar attire, especially when the climate and weather patterns were considered. Rin grasped the base of his hood and tossed it down, then ruffled his hair as he watched her actions. His eyes followed the projectile as it was thrown, the edge shimmering in the smallest of light that illuminated the alley. It seemed to have stuck itself directly in the arm of the unsuspecting assailant, and it looked deep enough to have gone into the bone. Yikes, that was quite a hit, but definitely not enough to kill him. It did motivate him to remove the knife from the woman's throat, however, and he fell to the ground. The guy was likely in a lot of pain, judging by how he was rolling around and screaming about the knife in his arm.
Rin didn't reveal himself just yet. He figured that the woman's saviour would enjoy finishing the male off herself. Instead, he simply stood motionless and watched closely. The sudden action had made him all giddy and happy that he wouldn't have had to watch the woman be assaulted any further.

The despicable male had fallen to the ground, to her joy that was made as her eyes watched him with a small similar delight to her eyes while watching with a steady glare. Indeed she was never one to mess with while the Rokubi was slowly awakening inside her as she would walk forwards. The woman had scampered her way over to Yuen to hide behind her it would seem. She would look at the woman and asked, “Are you alright?” The woman, freaked out no doubt while her eyes would be filled with fear and yet Yuen saw something else, a shimmer of something despicable.
She would jump up, almost as if to land a cannon punch to the ground, however her tactic was different, she would jump up but this time swing with her leg. Building up momentum and steady pace before she would land her airborne roundhouse kick into the jaw of the woman, no doubt breaking it with the kick and sending her into the wall. “Do not rely on others you whore, you have your own power and weaponry no doubt so do not expect easy saving.” She punished her and now her eyes went back to the assaulter.
Her inner demon had already gauged his strengths as she would smile demonically and she would walk forwards and be above him, a normal male of no particular skill. She would grip the kunai she had thrown into his arm and with a simple matter of words she would glare at him and held the kunai at his throat, “Now what should your punishment for assault be? Certainly an assault against a whore however I am not going to be respectful of that fact. So tell me what punishment you should have, a broken clavicle for being a whore and possible a missing limb for being an assaulter.”

Well, that was certainly beyond his expectations. As he sat there in the darkness of the building to his left, leaning lazily without much worry of who did and did not see him, he observed the woman begin to enact her twisted idea of justice. He would have interfered by now if he had any moral compass to follow, but alas, his views were just as twisted as her's. Rin didn't care about what happened to either of them. This wasn't his village or his home, he held no authority in these lesser known lands and likewise, held no interest in enacting righteousness upon those who he did not hold jurisdiction over. So, instead, he just watched as a silhouette shadowed by the darkness as she brought a blade to the man's neck.
She seemed to know her way around the area, or at the very least carried herself in such a way that made it seem so. Rin could only assume she was native to the village, so she was a much better fit than himself to punish whomever she saw fit. He stepped forward, out of the shade so that his silhouette became more visible. His priority wasn't to be hidden, he couldn't care less who saw him as he returned to his relaxed, leaning position on the wall. Rin folded his arms and continued to watch quietly, knowing well that he was now in clear view.
Upon moving closer, he was able to hear what was being said a bit better. “Do not rely on others you whore, you have your own power and weaponry no doubt so do not expect easy saving.” he heard the female say. It brought a smirk to his face, it seemed they shared the same idea to some extent. She may have had a bit more of an extreme way of educating the female on allowing her to fall into such a unfortunate trap, but her idea on what to do with the male was a bit less than what he was expecting. Rin wasn't the type to play around, if he was going to kill somebody, he'd do it quickly. Wasting time never really did sit well him with, but everybody has their poison.

Yuen’s lips curled up evilly, indeed the whole village knew her very dangerous side when she wanted to use it however not many would do much about it either. Yuen would merely look at the man she had at death point and shrug, letting him free while standing back a ways, she would walk off only as she walked off she did something. She would throw the kunai she held into the groin of the man, no doubt shattering and destroying the very limb that the man held dear enough today. Destroying much more than that perhaps as she would smirk as she noticed someone.
Someone who was well hidden in the shadows earlier and had come out as her eyes would look at him, “So who are you?” She would ask as her eyes watched him, trailed along his body to locate any hidden weapons if any were to exist. She would stare back into his eyes with the moment’s notice as she was not going to be too deadly to this man she could account for. None the less she did know her way around the human body and with her right eye covered by her storm village headband her eye transplant was well hidden.
Yuen would watch the man in front of her steadily and awaited an answer, and she would not bring up the subject unless asked about it with the two she had punished herself. The two were quite worthless to the village in the first place which could very well be her reasoning as her lips remained in that smile and her eye watched the person in its reddish hue of a deathly color. Red hair, red eyes, and bloody personality; what was there not to like about the way she did things around the village.
Of course the kage could have thought differently, and to Yuen the kage did think very differently than Yuen’s messed up style of justice as it would seem. Her hair was getting wet from the rain, indeed she did not mind it though as the rain was a minor thing from the past that once was a grand nuisance but not any longer so her face merely remained focused, her eyes steadily on this individual as she would smile. She had not given her name, most villagers would know of her as a transfer ninja from the land of cherry blossoms while her eyes kept steady all the same.

OOC)) Apologies for the delay with my post! I've been a bit busy with offline stuff and the Mount Everest-tier mountain of homework that's been sitting for a while. My replies will probably be quite slow for a little while until I sort everything out.
Rin couldn't stop himself from grimacing as the bladed metal projectile made contact with a part of the fellow male's anatomy. It brought a cold sweat to his forehead as his gaze returned to Yuen. It was quite a cruel fate, but Rin was sure that fair judgment had been enacted upon the male. If neither of them had bothered with intervening, it was likely that the woman would have met a much more terrible fate.
As he had finally been noticed upon moving out of the shadows, which was his intention if she had bothered to keep an eye on her surroundings, he maintained a very calm composure. Something definitely felt off about the girl that stood not too far away from him, a different air to her than most.
“My name's Rin! Apologies for staying so quiet there in the shadows, I was just, uh... Enjoying the show.” he said. Although his tone seemed quite upbeat, enthusiastic and positive even, his words still carried a bit of seriousness to them. “I'm a shinobi of Shippuugakure that's here on the terms of a mission. Seems that I've taken a wrong turn and stumbled upon a rather shifty crowd, though!”
He wasn't lying, though Rin still wasn't quite sure he'd come to the only place that rained more often than the Hidden Hurricane. Nothing he could think of in his right mind would have motivated him to pay the foreign village a visit, so it must have been an assignment... or something like that. But at least he hadn't completely lied about the reason for him being in the alleyway. The village was quite foreign to him, just as he was to the village. The alleys and roads and districts were confusing for a visitor, especially those like Rin who didn't hold much talent for navigating larger settlement.

Yuen would look at Rin top to bottom, measuring him up and the fact he was capable of concealing himself was in itself quite a feat in regard to her beast’s sense of measuring people around her. “Oh he smells yummy, let’s fight him, let’s fight him,” the Rokubi pounded in her mind as if it were a chant as she would hold her head that felt like it was splitting open and was going to be just a puddle of brain matter on the ground. Indeed it was quite something to ponder about as she knew little reason to keep in her mind why to not fight him.
But then she remembered her small incident with the two individuals in the street and that in itself was not quite what she was however her innate personality probably enjoyed that more than it would admit. She would nod to him with greeting, her face smiling now as she put away her bloody kunai as her eyes looked at him, the hesitation when he first spoke as if choosing his words carefully it seemed as she would sigh lightly when hearing all that he said. Her eyes on him she would nod kindly enough.
“My name is Yuen and though you may have already guessed I am a shinobi of the storm, you are a long way from home it would seem.” She would say as her eyes would look at him and thoroughly examine what she could. “Are you hungry by chance, I’ll be happy to show you some Storm hospitality since you are so far from your home, maybe over a nice meal you would not mind telling me what exactly your mission is to have you stranded this far into the heat country?” Her ideology was a big thing however she knew the villagers here hated outsiders, her included however she did not pay it no mind.

The day was old, her waiting was over and she had to leave. Her day may be over however she had to go out and perceive the information required to protect the night. Her shift on patrols and such were about to begin and she had to head out soon so she would make all apologies she had, to pursue the cause and nature of the night. A quick jump and a boost of the feet and the young kunoichi was gone, disappeared without a trace as she would head back to the village’s central compound for her border patrol. It was after all what she was best at and in doing so would be what she had left to do with all the knowledge she maintained in her own little mind.
(Exit: Shitty post but sorry, I'm just ending the thread for simplicity means)
