Personality:  Ijin Jikyuu is an introverted individual. He would much rather spend a night alone versus being at a big social gathering. He's not one to talk to others often, but that doesn't mean he isn't capable of holding conversation and being socially acceptable. He is extremely patient with people, willing to put up with a lot of crap that some can't. He is sympathetic. He will listen to any problem you throw out on the board and even attempts to solve it if it's within his power. He himself doesn't speak unless spoken to, unless it has something to deal with his own values. When it comes to morals, he is concrete. There is good and evil and he has chosen to be considered good. He himself has difficulty trusting and putting faith in others, but would go out on a limb to help them regardless.




When it comes to his "Friends" Ijin is highly selective; however, to those friends he is reliable, trustworthy, protective, and caring. He would easily put his life on the line for someone who had managed to get themselves placed among the ranks of his loved ones. He will go out of his way in order to make these people happy and in order to keep these people happy. It upsets him to see those close to him upset, so he tends to make sure that doesn't happen. He enjoys to spend time with these friends in order to better understand them and for them to perhaps better understand him as well, but even to friends he isn't a social butterfly.




When it comes to his "Enemies" Ijin is ruthless. He is the type of person to be feared. He will torture those who make his job difficult and maim those who wish to see those close to him suffer. He isn't the type to let a target escape or a mission fail. He will torture those who torture what he cares for, and if those who dare try to wipe that out will find themselves wiped out before they even think they have a chance.


Likes: Ijin likes solitude. He craves being alone because of his fear that as a person he will Cause others emotional turmoil.  He enjoys night time over day and cold weather over warm weather. The sounds of the ocean bring about thoughts of his past and this upsets him, but he likes it because it reminds him that he's human and not some monster trained to kill all in it's way. He likes to help others simply because it causes him good feelings and often brings him renown. He likes the mountains because they're beautiful early in the morning and late in the evening. Ijin is one who enjoys nature and the natural beauty that is left within the world. 




When it comes to people, he likes those who are willing to give others a chance and not flip out about little things. He enjoys people who talk a lot because he likes to listen anyway. He likes dependable people because he knows that despite being who he is, he still needs other's help himself. He likes laid back people and people who know how to take a mission seriously and get it done. He likes those who are willing to accept their faults and strive to better them over those who are arrogant and overconfident.

Dislikes:  Ijin despises people who complain about the things they refuse to do anything about. He hates those without patience and those without self worth. Self worth isn't to be confused overconfidence. He hates the heat, in fact, finds it obnoxious. He despises when people insist on making him feel out of place or pester him to speak knowing he tends to be quiet. He is envious of those with bloodlines and mildly dislikes them until they approve they are worth liking. He dislikes those who insist on hurting the ones he cares for and dislikes those who insist on causing pointless trouble. He dislikes when people try to take charge over him and they are not of his rank or higher. He is disgusted by people who complain about themselves but don't do anything to better themselves. He dislikes sand getting all over him and therefore would probably hate the desert. He finds things that taste too sweet unpleasant and prefers food that has been prepared well rather than just simply cooked. He dislikes untidy places, and absolutely above all else hates too much clutter in one room. He dislikes when people fail to take their shoes off at the door when they come to visit him. He dislikes those who fight with taijutsu as he doesn't have a decent mastery of it and is also envious of them. 
 

Motivation:   His first motivation is knowledge. He strives to be as smart as he possibly can be. He craves the knowledge of Fuinjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu above all other things. Knowledge is a vice he simply can't shake. To him, it is like an addiction. He wants to be in the know of worldly affairs and in turn likes to have the knowledge necessary to lead people if necessary.

His second motivation is bettering himself. He simply wants to be the best he can manage to be. He will push himself past what most people would consider his limits merely to prove the point that just like everyone else, he can be more. He wishes to not only better himself as a shinobi, but as a person as well.


His third motivation is helping others. He wishes to help others and to establish a base renown in only his own village. He wants to be well known in the village so that should he ever decide he wanted to achieve a kage rank, he could make the attempt, but seeing as how he has no real taste in being recognized internationally that probably would never happen.


His fourth motivation is respect. He wants others to know the type of person he is and understand him. He wants people to get what he is about and approve of that. He wishes that others would respect him as he would respect them, so he strives to be as powerful and knowledgeable as he can.


His fifth motivation is life. He simply wants to continue his life. He wants to see nature as it is and to experience all he can. He craves the morning air and the sunset. He wishes to be able to live as he pleases and to enjoy himself.

Fears:   His first fear is losing someone close to him. He is terrified to watch someone he cares for die right in front of his face. He will go out of his way to prevent this from happening, even if it means his own death.


His second fear is not being strong enough when it counts. He fears that when clutch time comes, he won't be strong enough. He won't be able to pull through and do what's necessary. He just won't be enough.


His third fear is losing himself in power. Power attracts every man, and he is included in that. He fears that one day he will find a power or become so powerful that he won't be able to keep himself tamed. He will change and turn into a monster.


His fourth fear is losing his power. He is a shinobi and he is irrationally afraid that someone may one day take that from him, whether it's literally or symbolically.


His fifth fear is Jinchuriki. He fears them and respects them for their power, and control over the tailed beasts. He would feel much comfortable being in a tight cluttered room then being with a jinchuriki for long periods of time in fear that he may be the one who sets them off to the edge.

History:  Ijin Jikyuu was born and raised in Shippuugakure. He had a hard working and strong father, and a gentle and trustworthy mother. He was born on november twenty first and on the day that he was born his mother passed. The stress of his birth was too much for her. She had already fallen ill a month into the pregnancy.

Without a mother's loving hand, Ijin was forced to take care of himself at a young age while his father was consistently off on missions and training hard to better himself as a shinobi. At the age of six Ijin could already cook full meals, feed himself, and educate himself through reading and writing fluently. It was at the age of seven that he entered the academy.

Throughout his Academy Years, it had become obvious to his teachers that he didn't have any true talent for taijutsu nor genjutsu. Even his ninjutsu then was average at best. He barely slid through the academy in three years. He was the type who had to study hard and keep at his studies quite often. 

Upon graduating the Academy, Ijin was assigned to a jounin team leader and two other teammates. Upon realising who he was from the academy, the other two on his team were quick to assume him the worst on the team and would consistently refer to him as the weakest. Ijin sat for years watching as his teammates grew more and more powerful each day as he barely advanced each week. 

Ijin's father had noticed his lack of progress and as he turned twelve,  his father began to train him when possible. His father taught him how to better his chakra control and realised he had a natural talent for doing so. It was then Ijin's father attempted to teach him medical ninjutsu. He had learned how to help others, though he wasn't the best at it either. Ijin continued to practice because his father had taken the time to teach him the jutsu, and he realized that when it came to medical ninjutsu he was advancing at a decent pace.

With his newfound prowess in Medical Ninjutsu, Ijin began to slowly gain the respect of his teammates being the only one on the team with any experience in it. Now, with the respect of his teammates, Ijin actually felt at home within Shippuugakure despite the fact that his father was never home.

After reaching fifteen years old, Ijin heard his father had died on a mission and was buried in the Blessed Winds. He found himself to be barely upset by this at all. Though his father had taught him how to live and taught him basic medical ninjutsu, his father hadn't been there a lot of the time he really needed him. Despite all that, Ijin still felt lost. His father was gone which meant he had to find another way of advancing himself as a shinobi. He needed to stay useful to the village, and now he had to deal with living on his own for real, even though he pretty much did before.

Ijin spent another year running various missions with his team and it was here his team entered the chunin exams. They made it to the second round, but in the second round he lost his first match. He was still behind the other genin no matter how hard he tried. He felt lost after the majority of his class graduated onto the next rank and left him in the dust. It was here that his sensei pulled him aside and agreed to help him better himself as a shinobi the best he could.

Ijin spent a total of five years waking up and simply training with his sensei. It was during this time his sensei introduced him to Fuinjutsu and Sensory Ninjutsu. Ijin would train every day focusing his chakra as necessary, channeling his chakra, doing basic sealing and medical ninjutsu, and using his sensory jutsu to find his sensei at night to get his food. There were days when Ijin went without eating, but he wasn't discouraged by this and instead decided to try harder. As his training went on, he began to grow in power and skill. His sensei had helped him to advance and had even took time in teaching him a couple Fuinjutsu to take and advance with.

Upon coming back to the village, Ijin was targeted and ridiculed by those of his class simply saying that it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway since they had all grown in power since then as well. Ijin had decided right then that he would grow more powerful no matter what it took and that he would strive for the respect of others. He had chosen to help others as much as he could and to advance himself as a shinobi every day of his life.

He was admitted to the next Chunin Exams. He passed all three stages with flying colors and finally upped to the next level at the age of 20. He had been slow to advance up until now, but he was determined more than ever to prove his worth. As a chunin he began to train harder going on all the missions he could, but going by himself. He refused to have to rely on others. He wanted to be able to not only protect himself, but others as well. 

He began to gather as much intelligence as he possibly could from all corners of the world. To those who ever caught glimpse of him, he became a spectre. A shinobi who disappeared without a trace when it came to mission time, but always came back with the mission complete. He continued on and remained within the chunin rank for eight years. He did as any other shinobi would do. He stayed to the shadows and gathered intelligence. He worked quietly, and worked alone. He had come to enjoy the solitude anyway. His own class still tended to be cruel to him as most had reached special jounin or jounin by now.

Finally upon turning twenty nine, Ijin became a special jounin. He had finally caught up with his class, and he was showing it. He spent his time healing the people who needed it and had become an asset to the village instead of a disgrace. He spent the next three years simply training and running missions. He had decided love was simply something that wasn't for him yet, and he decided he would keep it that way until someone proved otherwise. 

When turning finally turning thirty one, Ijin had managed to figure out what he really specialised in, and what he really had talent in. He had become a well established shinobi and he had gained the respect of his class in the fact that he valued their lives as much as they did. He strived to protect them no matter what it took and was often sent on team missions as the medical shinobi. It seemed that not many realized his true specialization was Fuinjutsu and he kept this a well guarded secret from most except the kage. He had chosen to keep what he really had spent most of the time mastering to himself in order to reveal the real shinobi he was when he felt the time was right.

All of this time Ijin has remained a loyal shinobi of Shippuugakure and has made his mind up in becoming a true shinobi. He strives even today to better his skills and to fight those who dare threaten what he loves and cherishes. He has been a face in the background, but this has only been the beginning to his story. It was time he advance himself and help to advance his village to a whole new level.

RP Sample:  Ijin had watched the man punch his comrade unconscious. That was the man's mistake. Quickly, Ijin closed the distance and unleashed two kunai. The kunai soared on point catching both sides of the man's shoulders. He stumbled back with a grunt of pain and Ijin moved in securing his comrade and moving him off a bit to the distance. He came back into the view of the man and pulled out two more kunai gripping the blades out in either hand. "Come on, I can take you." The man formed eight hand seals and Ijin quickly rolled off to the right in order to dodge an oncoming ball of lightning. He ran toward the man, and threw both kunai. The man jumped back, but miscalculated how Ijin had unleashed the kunai. They flew both into the lower part of his knees. He closed the distance and kicked the man to the ground before pushing all four kunai deeper and tacking the man to the soft ground below. It was here he began inscribing the seals for his jutsu into the floor and he placed both hands onto the seal. The man's chakra was slowly pulled away from him and he was forced into unconsciousness. He unrolled a thick pallet of cloth before forming the necessary hand seals. The cloth unleashed and wrapped around the man before sealing up tight. He dragged the man over to his comrade. He placed his hands on his comrade and the familiar green chakra engulfed his hands as he focused his chakra throughout the other's body. The other woke up. "Took you long enough Ijin." He said rubbing the back of his head. With that, they headed back to Shippuugakure as the mission was complete.
