Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

You Are the Entertainment [D-Shippuu] Empty
PostSubject: You Are the Entertainment [D-Shippuu]   You Are the Entertainment [D-Shippuu] EmptyFri Jun 14, 2013 1:07 am

The boardwalk creaked which each step taken by the fifteen year old boy. Just like any other day in the Hidden Hurricane, the winds ravaged the various sea vessels as well as the sea itself. Waves washed against the shoreline and the sky was fairly dark; today was definitely a good day in Shippuugakure.

Jinsei Kagani, novice shinobi, loner, and "the weird one", unrolled the mission scroll in his grasp. Reading over the various kanji and handwriting he spoke the details allowed in a completely monotone voice. "I can't believe they sent me out to make kids happy...this is a drag." Now a normal person would say this while releasing an exasperated sigh or at least through the use of a bored tone, however Jin did neither. His face remained blank, his breathing was constant, and one of his hands was constantly placed atop the hilt of his blade as if danger lurked around every corner. The bored yet not bored God of Swords arrived at the scene of his duty: the center of town in which a small ring of children was placed with anticipation clearly displayed on their faces.

Although Jin understood how the average human being's mind worked he never experienced, or witnessed at all for that matter, the life of the everyday child. He was born in a forested village secluded in the mountains, in a clan full of battle-hardened warriors. Trained in the art of the sword through life-or-death situations from the age of three onward, Jinsei never really had the privilege to have "fun". That's exactly why the children stared at him with disappointment in their eyes, for the almost lifeless shinobi simply did there with a hand raised in welcome. "Hello..." His face remained blank and expressionless as the children sat there pouting, urging for any signs of strange jutsus. And just before the parents came in to complain, the God of Swords was struck with an idea. With his hand gripping one of the two blades Jinsei closed his eyes. "Hachitoryuu." A small but still fairly large puff of white smoke released from the two blades strapped two his waist.

As the children stared wide-eyed and jumpy in excitement at the mass of white, eight small tantos shot up through the smoke and into the air. A small piece of blue would then fly out after the blades shortly after, snatching each and every one up while still midair. Landing an almost perfect ten, Jinsei stood before the children with eight swords placed all over his body. Not a single one was in his hands but instead littered throughout the various creases in his body as he resumed a crane style position. One child who was already jumping up and down excitedly exclaimed, "THAT WAS AMAZING!!!" With his poker face still on the shinobi/swordsman responded. "Thank you."

Jinsei would then precede to juggle the group of small blades around, and the entire mass of children crowded around while their parents attempted to bring them back, well at least it was ALMOST the entirety of them. With one of his ice-blue eyes the juggler spotted a straggler in the crowd, a small boy no older than 4 whom was crying in the back, all alone and separated from the rest. For the grand finale, Jinsei made several motions to send the tantos into the air. There were some kicks, some throws, and even a spit from the mouth, and once all the blades were in the air they'd disappear in a myriad of white, puffy smoke. Whilst the children all danced around the smoke, Jin approached the weeping boy.

The blue-haired teen looked down at the boy with a still serious expression. The child looked back up at him and cried his eyes out. Jinsei turned his body without a word and looked over at the sea which was only several meters away from them. Making a strange motion with one hand, the boy fired a glob of water from his fingertips, straight towards the air. He then preceded to put one hand over the other while closing his eyes. Shortly after he made a slicing motion through the air and a blast of wind surged forth from it. Before one made contact with the other, Jinsei tapped on the boy's shoulder. The crying mess of a youth looked over at the sea and a smile spread across his face as he danced. After Jinsei's oxygen absorbing slice made contact with the water gun technique, both exploded in a show of sparkly mist and ice which dropped down from the sky into the water below. It was literally raining icicles and sparkles.

After being paid the sum he was promised (by the children's parents of course), Jinsei simply walked away from the group of children as they all waved him goodbye. He did not look back.
