The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: A cold calculated individual with the ability to make the harshest of decisions when faced certain scenarios. He is able to go to lengths that normally people would avoid. Not that he’s unaware of the repercussions his actions may carry but he ignores them, law, authority these are things that need to be followed only till they are beneficial. If they seize to benefit him, then they are unworthy of being followed. He is always grinning ever since a certain incident happened and that has become a part of his natural appearance now.
His behavior towards others is completely non-social, not the most contributing person to take part in a conversation. If he is assigned a mission, he’ll use the information provided and will assume that there isn’t more information available. Asking for further details is not in his book. In a team, he does his part not caring whether the others do theirs or not, if they don’t and he is affected by their incompetence he does their part for them, just because it’s more convenient for him that way. He does everything keeping in mind his own self interest, not for the greater good of the nation or others, but for the greater good of himself.
When it comes to emotions he is someone completely impervious to his own and doesn’t consider the emotion of others. Actually that’s partly his own fault, his history has a lot to play in that part, regardless not only his appearance is like a cold blooded reptile.
Normally all his insanity, his pessimistic thoughts and his expressions are contained deep inside him; no one is considered worthy to witness those things in his opinion. He can be classified as a mysterious person who keeps everything to himself, all his thoughts and opinions. If he finds someone to be doing something that’ll probably end up hurting them badly but it won’t affect him in any way, he won’t say a word.
Likes: He finds everything that he has no prior knowledge of, interesting. The more the possibilities the more ‘excited’ he gets. He likes doing things that are considered taboo or forbidden for whatever reason, if something is considered taboo, he likes to find the truth behind it. Fear: the aspect of fear is something that he always has find very interesting. The things one will do when pushed into a corner, that aspect always fascinated him. Though, he would never prefer it for himself. Revealing the true nature of those who are glorified and honored by one and all.
Dislikes: Hates being wrong, being human he can’t always be right but he hates admitting his mistakes. Contradiction: he can’t stand it, consider it a pet peeve of sorts. Weakness of all sorts including those who are weak and helpless. He considers such people a burden and easily replaceable. Dislikes the fact that the history of his clan has been kept a secret from the world, making them an anomaly in the eyes of so many. In his opinion, a clan with hidden history has no legacy, no legends that can be referred to.
Motivation: The thirst to achieve what is considered to be unachievable, his aim and his drive is to become immortal. Only that way he can continue to do what he likes doing, witnessing people’s true nature, invoking fear into the hearts of his victims. The clan his lived in the shadows of history keeping their stories and legends hidden from the outside world, he wants to be the one to cure this disease of secrecy. He wants his clan to be known, feared and referred to; the legends of the clans should remain in the pages of history as immortals and he wants to be the first among those immortal legends.
Fears: His fear is disappearing like all the others of his clan in a nameless grave that no one ever comes to visit. The eminent danger of being unnoticed and not making his mark in history terrifies his very soul. He believes that everyone has a tendency to give up eventually, no one can last forever and nothing can remain forever. Persons and things that defy this theory of his are frightening.

Bloodline Ability: Techniques make simultaneous use of Yin Release and Yang Release. Yin relates to one's spiritual energy and Yang relates to one's physical energy and it's necessary to utilize both of these in order to mould chakra for ninjutsu. According to Yamato, the manipulation of Yin and Yang is the source of non-elemental techniques such as the Shadow Imitation Technique, Multi-Size Technique, medical ninjutsu, genjutsu, etc.
The Sage of the Six Paths had such a mastery over the Yin–Yang Release that he used Yin to create form from nothing, and then used Yang to breath life into what he has created. He could even make them come to life.
This ability allows for conjuration of set objects from one's mind and given physical form, size & sentience. Objects can be created through mental thought or Genjutsus itself. Such things include but not limited to non-elemental attacks, golems, weapons, armor, clones & landscape. Location: Tsukigakure
Clan History:The Onmyoton clan is a very small clan and has been for many many years, they are a secretive clan and will not willingly show their jutsu to others- their jutsu consists of using both light and shadow, they do not specialize in "normal" or "Advanced" elements- every single member of this clan specializes in either light or shadow and the 2nd as a secondary: only the advanced or naturally talented may blend their elements to create the Onmyoton.
Their history is shrouded in mysteries, often they eliminated important people even from within their own village to keep their clan's abilities a secret- only a handful of important people know of their kind of power and those people are well trusted but always being watched. The clan lives like any other ninja in the village, but they go to secret meetings and constantly check up on the members of the clan. Most of the ninja from this clan are assassins, they kill targets who the ruling government wants dead using their unique elemental properties which are hard to combat against.
In older history, it was this clan who assassinated several prominent figures in other villages and eventually caused a ninja war: any news of this was instantly eliminated and the clan blended back into the shadows and light alike.
In the oldest of histories, this clan could quite well be the oldest clan; being fashioned from the Sage of the six paths, they have a unique understanding of the Yoton & Inton elements. Their history is shrouded in mystery but this much is clear, this clan rose up during the Sage's rule and learned many wise things from him. However after his death, the clan became fearful of outsiders and locked their secrets away from outsiders. At first they were proud of their knowledge, skills and ties with the Sage; however fear enveloped their customs and they began to transform in a clan of secrets and assassinations- so many assassinations that the very clan itself often trained their own children n assassination just for the sole person of assassinating one another and anyone who knew about them.
This art and lifestyle has continued on for generations and is now developed into the current state, the clan is small and the knowledge of their clan is often even kept from the clan members. Only the elders know the truth of this matter, for they keep scrolls in their most hidden library and only show the scroll to newly appointed elders.

Grim beginning:
In the darkness of the unforgiving night, rain poured down onto tsukigakure; a storm raged wild and the winds blew as they had never blown before. Another member of a secretive clan was born on the 11th of September, 21 years ago from now. The mother could have survived if only the father had decided to do so but he left her to find her way towards life if she loved this child and him, but her life force couldn’t hold on. Hence for no reason she died and left the child in the care of an unforgiving father. It was a boy that was born that night and was named Kakusa, being born into the Onmyoton clan his name became Kakusa Makoto. The only son of Hikaru Makoto, a man who had a great legacy but had nothing special about him, he was a normal jounin in his life time but was burdened by his legacy as he had never been able to accomplish anything noticeable. Hence the demeanor of the father was cold, unforgiving and merciless while the mother that died before actually meeting her own child was warm and kind, a truly caring and pure soul.
On the night of his birth, his mother was hospitalized and struggling while the nurses attended to her and Hikaru stood outside the room, just standing there because he had to; he had no feelings or wishes regarding the matter. Even though he had married such a kind hearted soul, he had never been able to truly love her; truth be told he had forgotten how to love. Now this mistake that was about to step into the world was just troublesome and annoying, nothing more. After an hour the nurse came outside, with a small life wrapped around in warm towels and headed towards Hikaru, she extended her arms showing him the little boy, ”Congratulations, it’s a boy” she said with a huge smile on her face. Though she received no reply, only a cold stare in reply then her expressions changed and she spoke in a grim tone than before, ”Yuzu is…. She’s struggling for life”. Hikaru turned his face towards the nurse, grabbed the little child rather hardly and spoke in a cold manner, ”Leave her be.. if she loves this and me, she can find her way back herself”.
The nurse was stunned for a bit but was forced to obey Hikaru’s merciless, he stood there staring at his wife while she struggled but slowly kept falling into darkness. He watched her die in front of him while the innocent little child slept in his arms. After she died he walked away not even attending to her dead body, Yuzu kept looking at Kakusa and died with her eyes open still looking in the direction of where he was. When she died she had a gentle smile on her face and her last words were to her husband, despite the fact that he didn’t care: ”I’m sorry Hikaru-sama…please, take care of our child”. She left the world hoping that he would change and love their child instead, since he was unable to love her. The dead body of Yuzu was attended by the nurses, since she wasn’t buried by Hikaru, she wasn’t buried in the spot reserved for their family; to this day she rests in an unmarked grave at an unknown location near the hospital where he was born.
Growing Up:
Kakusa grew staring at the cold back of his father, his father never tended to his needs and raised him to take care of himself. He was harsh, cruel at times and forced him to do things that every parent does for their child. When he was young, Kakusa was never carried by his father, he crawled on his own and after looking at the people walking he learned to mimic them thus learning to walk. He didn’t learn to speak until he was 10 years old, he was considered to be a mute but because of the fear of imperfection stopped him from speaking. When he started speaking, he didn’t mix up words or spoke like a little child.
One day while his father was away somewhere like usual he had to go for grocery shopping and get ingredients to prepare a meal for himself. Getting to the market, he came upon a new shop and walked inside. After collecting his materials he went to the counter and placed the items on the table, the shop keeper having no knowledge about him, didn’t know that he didn’t speak. ”Hello little boy, why’re you buying your food for yourself? Where are your parents?” asked the shop keeper. A few locals who knew kakusa were also there, before they could interrupt and tell the shop keeper that he didn’t speak, he spoke: ”Father is away and I don’t have a mother so, I have to do it myself” replied Kakusa as the jaws of all of the onlookers dropped. ”Oh I see, then you deserve a special discount for being so brave” said the kind hearted shop keeper and gave him all the groceries for half price. Kakusa thanked him and left, he didn’t like the conversation or the kindness of the shop keeper, ”I know, underneath that smiling face must be a devious person; waiting to come out” he thought as he walked back home with the groceries.
His father was mean and cold towards him but he received love from others, since he had no mother other mothers took care of him whenever they came upon him. Some would make meals and bring them over, some would send over children to play with him so that he wouldn’t be lonely. Some fathers would bring toys and tell their children to share it with him. However, the darkness had begun to seep into his soul from a very young age, even at that age he thought all of their noble gestures to be “gimmicks” as he liked to think to himself. They were all trying to be nice to him just to keep the beast within them satisfied, they never really liked him, no one liked him. ”No one can ever like anyone” he would think to himself on a number of occasions.
In his neighborhood, there lived a little girl of the same age as him and she only had a mother, her father had died or left; whatever was the case Kakusa never saw her father, neither did she ever talk about him. Being an orphan the girl was always ‘annoying’ him, bringing him food so they can eat together, bringing toys so they could play together. When Kakusa’s father was usually cold to him and he felt down, she would do silly things around him to make him laugh or did everything in her power to cheer him up. Even though he didn’t like her, he still found a way back to his normal self when she was around. Though he was still cold and dark from within, this girl: Izuru, was the only source of light in his life. As time passed, all the other children and families came to realize the darkness that was in his heart and in his eyes but Izuru was impervious to that fact, she just continued to ignore it and maintained her ‘special’ relation with Kakusa.
Academy Days:
As tradition he began training in the skills of his clan from early childhood, his father didn’t really like him but the honor of the clan meant a lot more to him. So he trained Kakusa harshly, kicked him when he didn’t do what he was told or when he wasn’t able to do it. He was given tasks that would be too much for a child of his age and was expected to produce perfect results. Every single day he trained and every single day he was beaten almost half to death. At the end of the day he would lie on the floor of his room with his face towards the floor and back towards the ceiling. Every day Izuru would sneak in and tend to his wounds, she also tried to talk to him, help him get over it and find the motivation to stand up again. ”I’m telling you, you’re special that’s why he’s so hard on you. Only you can do it and I know you will do it, I believe in you”. These were the words he would hear almost every day when she tried to cheer him up. For some reason, he never thought of her like the others.
When he came of age, he was enrolled in with all the others in the academy. He had been going through training at home so the training at the academy was nothing and every day he proved himself as a worthy student. He was among the few sharper ones of the class, he was still despised by the rest of the class. Izuru had enrolled along with him and because of her beauty, every boy in the class loved her and envied Kakusa who was impervious to each and every one of them. No one usually tried talking to him, only Izuru was always around, sharing her lunch with him, talking with him; every day when the academy began to the end of the day she would stick to his side like a chewing gum.
One day during a ninjutsu class, everyone was practicing their usual cloning jutsu or transformation jutsu. Kakusa was sitting on the side because he had already learned it. Izuru was still learning and was standing a few meters away from him, but still she had Kakusa in her sight. Her skills weren’t exceptional but she tried her best, she was kind to others and helped them out as well while she trained for her skills. Kakusa despite his skills didn’t like helping others, or talking to others or even looking at others. A few boys came to Kakusa and surrounded him, ”Hey teary eyes.. stop keeping Izuru-chan for yourself”. “Teary eyes” that was one of the ways the others referred to him, because of the tear tattoos on his face right underneath his eyes. He didn’t reply, didn’t even look at those guys who would normally be classified as ‘bullies’. The fat one among the group got close to him and grabbed him by his collar. Even though he wasn’t that rich or anything but he liked dressing neat and decent, the boy pulled him up and stared in his eyes. Before he could say a word, the group’s attention was diverted by a loud sound, ”Let him go!”, the female voice obviously belonged to Izuru.
She ran towards the group, grabbed the fat boy by his shoulder and twisted his arm which resulted in him losing his grip and falling to his knees. She had locked in a simple but quite efficient arm bar on the boy, the others looked shockingly at Izuru, she had never once harmed anyone before; she had always been kind and warm to others. ”How dare you guys hurt Kakusa-kun?” she said as she stared down the other guys, the poor fat fellow began to cry from the pain that soared through his arm. Then he asked those guys to help and one of them ran towards her but before he could get to her the instructor stepped in and took control of the situation. The fat boy however, apparently the ring leader, announced that he will have his revenge. After the day was over and Kakusa head for his way home as usual accompanied by Izuru, they were surrounded by the group from before. The boys being resourceful had brought along a few kunai and shurikens, while Kakusa and Izuru were practically unarmed. They were not only outnumbered, they were also outgunned. The boys charged at both of them but before they could get close to either one of them, they stopped in their tracks, frozen out of fear. A dark shadow had emerged from behind Kakusa, a large faceless man like shadow, it was tall and scary. The children looked at the creature and ran away screaming for help, before Izuru could turn and look at Kakusa, the shadow disappeared. He had yet to learn how to use his ‘special’ set of skills but somehow he had managed to use Yin-release and not a moment too soon.
Time passed by and the two became genins, Kakusa passed with the highest of scores while Izuru passed as well with an average score.
A Genin’s Story:
As a genin Kakusa was paired up with Izuru and another boy, named Kusatta. The three were assigned under a jounin who was considered to be a genius from a very young age. The three genins were told to meet the teacher in a training ground for a special test, when the three arrived the teacher was already there. ”Now, I’m going to decide whether you three are going back to the academy or becoming genins” said the teacher. Till then they had thought that they were already genins, the teacher made a few hand signs and summoned a gigantic snake. They were then told to fight the snake, only if they were able to defeat it they were able to defeat it they will qualify. Kusatta asked Izuru and Kakusa for their help while he tried to take the lead but Kakusa was already gone before he could finish what he wanted to say, Izuru chuckled and joined in leaving Kusatta behind. The three fought the large snake, while Kusatta and Izuru launched a few combinational attacks and tried using tactics, Kakusa used his own tactics instead of fighting in as a team.
The genins did their best to fight the snake and win but they were no match for the beast, despite their effort they were easily defeated. The instructor walked to kakusa, who was by then sweating, his body aching and was out of breath. ”Did you think that you could take him on by yourself? Why didn’t you fight along with them?” asked an enraged jounin, he didn’t reply and continued to gasp for air. The instructor had noticed that this boy had potential but there was something about the boy that troubled him. However, despite what the three genins expected they were passed.
Every day they had to do odd jobs like all the others which Kakusa found to be quite a nuisance not just because they were annoying and not really tasks that ninja deserved but because when he went home he had to undergo training by his father. Every single day after becoming a genin he was trained even more harshly by his father. Every day when he returned from home and joined his comrades for another mission, he had a new scar on his body, sometimes on his face.
Though the teacher was wary of Kakusa’s personality, he still expected great things from him. Kakusa had an evil and cold aura to him but he excelled in medical ninjutsu. His way of using it was strange and unique, he learned faster and trained harder; whatever motive the boy had, he really wanted to attain his goals. So everyday he trained separately with Kakusa and then trained Izuru and Kusatta separately. The team of genins became known for their capabilities and Kakusa began to be quoted for his abilities. The praise did travel to his father’s ears but he was never impressed. His journey as a genin continued until the time finally came for Chunin exams.
Chunin exams:
In the Chunin exams two names were prominent throughout the entire procedure one was Kakusa and the other was Hiroto. A girl who had never before attained any fame or name, apparently she hadn’t done anything noticeable before but suddenly she had become a favorite. Throughout the entire test, Kakusa was always a step behind her and she was annoyingly ahead. It was like she knew what to do and how to do it. After the initial tests, the final stage of the test came, it was to be decided on individual battles. Kakusa’s opponent was Hiroto, apparently only one of them could become a Chunin and the other would have to wait till the next exams. Losing was something he didn’t really like and then losing from someone who was a nobody a few days ago.
The battle began, Kakusa and Hiroto engaged in a fist fight at first. For a moment it felt like both had something to prove or they had centuries of bad blood which incurred this fight. After both of them attained a sufficient amount of bruises, they turned to the usual way they fought. Hiroto being a genjutsu user and Kakusa with his unusual abilities fought but Kakusa’s abilities overwhelmed Hiroto’s. The result of the battle was Kakusa still standing and Hiroto lying on the floor bleeding almost half to death, after attaining the upper hand Kakusa had been extremely cruel and had attacked her with the intent to kill. It was a battle to decide who would be a chunin, so it wasn’t interrupted after the final blow the merciless battle ended with Kakusa as the victor.
Chunin Life:
In his days as a Chunin, Kakusa was sent as a mission leader at times and sometimes was sent as a medical ninja along with jounins. His prowess with medical ninjutsu was noted and his resourcefulness began to make a name for him. Once he was assigned to lead a team on a reconnaissance mission, Izuru was part of the team. He had information that it was a possibility that the team may be ambushed so they were told to keep an eye out for enemies, in the case of confronting an enemy, he was ordered to make sure that there was no one left alive to tell the tale.
As the team arrived at their destination and setup camp, he assigned two ninja to patrol around the area while the others rested. It was a group of 5 ninja along with Kakusa, Izuru fell asleep while the other member started to prepare food, some time passed by but the two dispatched shinobi didn’t return. Then Kakusa realized that they had in fact walked into an ambush, by then they were already surrounded and outnumbered. It broke out into an all out battle but luck wasn’t favorable for Kakusa. Kakusa got injured and so did Izuru, her leg was harshly injured and she couldn’t run. In the midst of battle, Kakusa decided to sacrifice the life of the other member to save his and Izuru’s life.
He carried her over his shoulder and made a run for it while the other member became a sacrifice according to his plan. Though her wait didn’t really help him much and soon the enemy got close to him, he was left with no other choice. Kakusa stopped and put Izuru on the ground, then he killed Izuru by his own hands and sealed her remains inside a scroll, so that the enemy wouldn’t get her. After that he was able to get away but the incident left a permanent scar on his mind. After that incident Kakusa turned to what he is now.
Jounin:
Even though he lost all of his team members on the mission, he still brought the information that was asked of him and despite the odds that were harshly against him, he still managed to come out of it without a permanent injury; at least not a physical one. The village acknowledged his accomplishment and soon after he was promoted to Jounin.

Identities: finally revealed. Warriors engage in an honorable battle, the sacred ritual of bloodshed continues.
Epizon’s attack was intended as an experiment, he was mentally prepared to accept complete failure however, that wasn’t the case. His attacks hit their mark, they weren’t really meant to cause much harm, he wasn’t expecting much but just verification of his assumption. As his feet met with the opponent’s face and shoulder, pain soared through his feet. The skin of this opponent felt as hard as steel, after hitting he flipped and landed back on his feet, stumbling just a little because of the pain.
Finally the arrancar decided that it was only appropriate to introduce himself, actually his way of speaking and the way he had addressed Epizon reflected a gentleman like manner. He was proper, formal and it also meant that this person had high regards for the concept of battle as Epizon, not just that he had accepted Epizon as a worthy opponent; that must be why he introduced himself. When told that this person had been around for 4000 years, he couldn’t help but be impressed. The arrancar had managed to live for such a long time in the world of the living and remain undetected by the soul society, that was something. That also meant that soul society wasn’t as proficient as they wanted everyone to think that they were. So how could they think of themselves as the sole protectors of humanity and other beings that fell under their protection? It was a hoax, a self proclaimed title and Epizon was one of those self proclaimed protectors, unable to protect a little girl.
”You’re defense isn’t that bad either sir. I too wouldn’t prefer to fight in such a manner, Mr. Anamist Souigetsu. I am Epizon “Oneiropolos” Psychi, 4th seat of squad 6, second in command to Juni’chi Nakamura”. That was the unjust rank of Epizon, not exactly suited to his strength but that’s how worthy the soul society had considered him to be. Before they could indulge into the conversation, Anamist launched another attack. Another ranged attack, Epizon had also noted some strange floating orbs near his opponent but those orbs weren’t moving towards him like the two ceroes that narrowed towards him. He had little options but one thing was for sure if he got close to Anamist it would be his domain and if he stayed away from him that’s Anamist’s domain; or so he thought.
”So that’s what your planning, then so be it” he moved towards the projected cero but before they got too close, he raised his zanpakuto saying ”hado #32: Okasen”,a yellow orb appeared in front of it, slowly stretching along the sheathed zanpakuto and then projecting from it. Launching and colliding with the ceros, resulting in a large explosion but the explosion was close and Epizon got caught in it; though he didn’t expect to get out of it unscathed. As the explosion happened he had covered his front with his arms and curled into a ball like position, so the result was his shihakusho’s sleeves burned to his shoulders, revealing his glove and his arms were bruised from the wrist to the shoulders. The lower part of the shihakusho was also burned and torn, but due to his position only his legs below the knees were bruised heavily. ”I’m no fool, I know I can’t win this battle but that’s not really my objective either. Even if..” he landed on his feet, breathing heavily as the smoke from the explosion had still to settle, he used it as an advantage and moved towards Anamist. ”…I can’t win it, that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to save her. If her life demands the sacrifice of mine… “
He appeared suddenly, in close proximity of Anamist, only a few meters away. The two orbs near Anamist turned to swords and attacked him before he could do what he intended to do, raising his sheathed zanpakuto he blocked the attack from piercing right through his chest. His position was a bit lower and the orbs were pushing down on his hand because he held his zanpakuto from his right hand with his left hand still to spare. ”… then it’ll be an honor” he said as he raised his left hand and pointed his left index finger aimed at Anamist’s head, ”hado # 4: Byakurai”. High density reiatsu gathered at the front of his index finger and propagated with the speed of lightening towards the direction the finger was pointing at: Anamist’s head.
He didn’t know whether the attack would land or not, neither did he knew if the other orbs would turn into swords and pierce him, he was right there in front of Anamist so he knew that the outcome would be grim but he also knew that his attack at such a close range would prove troublesome to deal with.

You can call me whatever your comfortable with bud ^-^ . As for the specialization, I forgot to alter it, originally I had decided on a different clan for this character. After choosing Onmyoton I forgot to change the specialization. Changed it now. Ty for mentioning it Xp
