Chiharu walked up the steps of the large building after getting off of her morning shift at the hospital. Lately she had been spending more time there than off on actual missions or even helping the Kage. But today was finally not the case.

Arriving at the top floor, the medic-nin smiled at the ninja she saw sitting behind a small desk. "I didn't know you were working today Taka-kun. How've you been?" Takashi was a fellow Special Jounin that also worked part time helping the Kage out with paperwork and scheduling meetings and the like. The male smiled upon seeing the kunoichi and replied, "You're early Chiharu, my shift ends in an hour. I've been good. Sorting files for Mogami-sama to go through later. We're getting a lot of new ninja in Boufuugakure you know. This new generation shows promise."

The lavender haired girl smiled and stated in turn, "That's definitely good news. But I'm not here to relieve you I'm afraid. I have an appointment scheduled." The other secretary nodded, "Of course, that's what I meant. Well you are early, but she's not with anyone right now. Go ahead in." He smiled before going back to his work. Nodding in agreement, the medic-nin approached the double doors and knocked five times in a rhythmic pattern before opening the doors and closing them behind her.

Facing the Kage's desk, the kunoichi bowed in respect and greeted warmly, "Good morning Cornelia-sama. Kazu-kun told me that he had gotten a B-rank mission and he requested that I assist him. I'm here to sign the papers to accept."

Cornelia's eyes moved back and forth as she scanned over one paper and then another before taking a pen and writing something. She thought she heard voice outside her office, but concentrated on her work. That was until there was a knock at her door that was a very tell-tale rhythm that she recognized. The corners of her lips twitching, the Kanetsukage called out, "Come in." And in the knocker came, revealing Chiharu Kojima a Special Jounin medic kunoichi that bade her good morning. Glancing at the window, the older woman was glad to see that not too much time had passed since it was still morning. Nodding at the girl, she ruffled through some files and papers on her desk before picking up a specific set of papers and presenting them to Chiharu. "There are the details for the mission. You know the drill, where to sign. It's good to see old genin teams still working together I must say. You two are some of the few. It's much more efficient to work in pairs, you're wise to take advantage of it. Good luck to both of you."

Chiharu drew herself up in attention as her Kage spoke to her in her usual no nonsense tone. Taking the scroll and opening it, the medic-nin nodded and and borrowed a pen from the desk before scribbling her signature on the appropriate place and giving the copy back to Cornelia before slipping the original in her satchel. Beaming at the praise that her idol was giving, Chiharu shuffled her feet a little before saying, "You're too kind Cornelia-sama. We only do our duty. We'll be sure to do our best with this mission as well." With that, she gave a bow of respect to the Kanetsukage and took her leave to go find her teammate and prepare for the mission.
