The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: RP Post Experience Tue Feb 04, 2014 7:32 pm
I was just thinking that experience given out for RP posts should be based on words. I know people will say quality over quantity and all that, but it only makes sense for someone who writes 10 paragraphs to get more experience than 1 paragraph. I dunno, chew on it.

For the time being, each post no matter the content will yield 10 experience. If you would like, you can post here your suggestion for a possible grading outline for something like that. :) Just make sure that it's simple haha.

10 exp for every 100 words. That makes more sense that way people are honored for actually taking their time to produce their work. 10 points per post just promotes spamming. You'd have like 20 posts containing 70 words for a total of 200 exp, which is very undeserving in my opinion. We should do it with words, 100 words = 10 points that way someone with a post of 2000 words doesn't get treated the same as someone with 70 words.

If we run with that, I will have to up the experience requirements, because it would become extremely easy to raise stats.
Are you guys okay with this?
I like the idea for that, Isais, but like I said the requirements would need to be upped considerably so that it's still a challenge to rank up one's stats.

This is exactly what I was going for. Smart guy ^_^

Eden, there's really no need. In no way is that easy , especially for this site. Here are the numbers and the facts. Fact is no one really rps anymore, I'm actually the most active rper on the site and it takes me time to generate a post of 2k words. People will say 2k words is nothing but if it really isn't much then why arent we doing this. Anyways, here are the numbers.
2000 words = 200 exp
to level up stats : D -> S rank = 3,750 exp.
With what we have now you'd have to type a total of 36,000 words in order to get one stat from D rank to S rank. I think its all fair enough. If anyone think thats easy then heck have at it, atleast we'll get a hell lot more activity.

Say, an average post for a person is 400 words. That would mean 40 experience. If there are 20 posts in a topic, that's 800 experience. In one topic, a person can get a rank up. It should take more than one topic to get a rank up and that is what I'm trying to say.
The requirements wouldn't be upped a ton, but they will be upped so that it isn't so easy to get a rank up. While it is true that it would take tons of topics to get (S) in everything, it wouldn't take long at all for a person to obtain fairly decent stats in a short period of time. Plus you have to take into account that a person can be in a maximum of 5 topics at a time, which means 5 times the experience a person gains. Hence the need to up the experience requirements.

I'd multiply the current requirements by 1.5 to 2.5, whatever you decide on. More for the ranks and less for the stats... But that's just my noob input :D
