Port Caerula was as busy as ever, not just with people, but ships of all shapes and builds. They were hurrying to finish their business, unloading their cargos and bounty before low tide came. Shinoe let her boots dangle over the edge of the pier as she leaned back, her hands supporting her as she inhaled the fresh sea air deeply, trying to soak up the last bits of sunlight before it set. It had been quite some time since she had arrived at this very port from Shippugakure with little to no guidance. She had been so mistrustful then. To think that she would meet the future Oujoukage as soon as she arrived... She hadn't seen Eden in a while either. Did he know that she had passed the Chuunin exams? Maybe she should make some time to tell him. She never knew when she was going to run into that Masked Man again, which irritated her to no end. At least Saizo already knew. She liked to keep him updated. It was handy to be connected to two different village Kages. As she watched some fisherman pack up their gear and tie their boat up, the shinobi wondered what she should do once the sun set. Dinner? Train more? Maybe go meet up with someone? So many choices...and yet the sun was still here...and it felt so good. She closed her eyes and relaxed for a little longer.

Semasu munched on a donut absent mindedly as she sat high atop a building near the port's waters; she enjoyed watching people sometimes. Performing all of their repetitive motions n their near-meaningless lives- it was a reminder to her how shallow lives could be, she preferred the life of danger where one wrong move could be the end of you.

She licked her fingers clean as she finished her donut, then proceeded to place a fresh donut in her mouth as she jumped from the rooftop- the donut still hanging from her mouth.

Wonder what kind of unusual interaction I can get today..

The she noticed the girl on the docks, just enjoying the water surface and what was left on the daylight, another ninja perhaps? She looked like she was thinking about something somewhat heavy- heavy thoughts were Semasu's specialty. She casually approached the girl and slowly lowered herself to be on the same level with her; she turned slightly and smiled, not offering a hand, but a fresh donut instead- with her other donut still in her mouth.

Shinoe was still reclined, eyes closed and so didn't see anyone approach her. Hello, I'm Semasu Rankujo. Who might you be? The brunette started, sitting up straight and looking left with surprised eyes as she took in the sight of a crouching girl that looked to be about her age, donut in mouth and in the hand that she was offering her. Blinking dumbly, she managed to get out, "Uh, Shinoe Hozuki."

Then she realized that the donut was for her and took it automatically. Staring at said pastry, she debated on whether she wanted it or not. Well it wouldn't really hurt anything she was sure. The shinobi placed it in her mouth, taking a bite before her eyebrows raised. "This is pretty good." She said with a full mouth, not caring for manners. Then she began to gather her wits and not just accept random donuts from almost strangers and asked, "Thanks for the donut and all, but do I know you?"

Shinoe Hozuki, what a real pretty name for a pretty girl- they looked about the same age group, but what of their ninja ranks? True enough that Semasu was a SPC Jounin, but most of her comrades were older and seasoned warriors: she had few if any friends her age or strength-level. She watched contently as the girl took the donut and bit into it timidly, Semasu smiled at her with a genuine look of "cuteness" This girl was a balanced mix of carefree and responsible, she was also fairly polite- not one of Semasu's strong points.

Know me? Probably not, I've been a Special Jounin for a bit. Most of the time I'm away doing missions or sitting in one of the donut shops.

She was glad to see that the girl was enjoying the donut, it was one of Semasu's most recent homemade batches; she beamed with delight. The donut she had in her mouth, fell out as she was speaking, but practiced hands caught the delicious pastry with ease. She continued to eat it in between moments of speaking.

Shinoe munched more of the donut she'd been given as she listened to Semasu's reply and almost dropped the pastry when she heard the other girl's rank. "S-Special Jounin? Aren't you my age?" The shinobi protested, crumbs falling from her mouth and onto her lap. Realizing that she was making a bit of a mess, the girl quickly stuffed the rest of the donut into her mouth and chewed enthusiastically before licking the remaining icing off of her fingers, missing the icing that had gotten on the corner of her mouth though.

"I only just passed the Chuunin exams..." She admitted, brushing the crumbs off of her lap and into the sea. "I've spent most of my time training to make sure I would be able to become a Chuunin. I only just now got some free time." The brunette was a little bitter that this girl who seemed to be the same age as her already managed to become a Special Jounin. Maybe it was because she was born and raised in Tsukigakure. Yeah, that had to be it. But Saizo had become freaking Kage and he was around her age too... AUGH! Was she really that weak and useless? Shinoe couldn't keep in the despondent sigh at her depressing thoughts.

Semasu was indifferent about Shinoe's mention of the difference in their rank, true enough they were both the same age. Semasu's point of interest was not the rank, but the difference in their sizes. Compared the girl her age, Semasu's breasts were quite a bit larger. Semasu reached forward with her free hand and wiped the cream off Shinoe's mouth and put it in her own mouth; she seemed casual enough with the action, but knew the kind of effect it could accomplish- depending on the specific girl's "interests"

Correct, we are the same age... I think. I'm sixteen now; and you look about...

Semasu paused for a moment and gropes Shinoe's breasts and thought hard for a moment. She had since finished her own donut and still had some pink crumbs on the side of her mouth. She pulled back after a luxurious feel, far more than what was necessary to get the general "age" of the girl: despite any protests the girl might have had. She had closed a lot closer to Shinoe and was in her personal space while she had groped the girl and her own boobs were intruding on Shinoe's space. She hardly noticed, they always got in the way when she was trying to do something.

Shinoe's comment about passing the Chuunin exams recently told Semasu much about the girl's experience. She was a gifted girl who studied and trained hard- an honest girl with a pure heart; how sweet. Semasu smiled at her and patted the girl's head sympathetically, it could be hard to master one's own jutsu and skills.

I don't know much about your jutsu or what clan you are, so I can't really say what your doing right or wrong. Though with my clan, we use the explosion element and its difficult to control but provides exceptional results for all the hard work. Tell you what, I'll help you if I can; I'd like to see you get stronger together with me.

Shinoe immediately flinched away from contact as Semasu reached towards her face, but then stopped herself and realized that she was just wiping away some cream. "Oh...Thanks." She muttered awkwardly, feeling a little embarrassed as showed on her cheeks, though whether at the other girl's actions or her own messiness, she wasn't sure. For good measure, the kunoichi licked her lips to make sure there wasn't any remaining crumbs or icing. Then looking at the other ninja's mouth she pointed to her mouth as she said, "You have some too."

She wasn't surprised to hear Semasu's age, though she tried to rationalize that Special Jounin was only one rank higher than Chuunin. Her mouth opened to tell the girl her age when suddenly her chest was being sized up by two hands rather than eyes. The girl was suddenly a lot closer and her entire presence was too much for Shinoe, her face immediately flushing cherry red as she stuttered incoherently, completely frozen by the utterly random act of molestation. So stunned was the brunette that she couldn't move until after she was released and her head was patted as Semasu continued on the conversation as if nothing out of the ordinary had just occurred.

Slowly, a shaky fist began to form and raise up as the other arm shielded her molested bossom. Shinoe's face shadowed by her long bangs before she raised her head to reveal an angry and embarrassed expression. "PERVERT! Ero-senpai! Thinking you can just come and molest any kouhai you happen across! I'll throttle you you you, you AGH!" At a loss for further words, Shinoe made to shove Semasu off of the pier and into the sea. She should have known that a complete stranger approaching her would have ulterior motives. This was what she got for relaxing and letting her guard down.

Semasu wasn't perturbed by Shinoe's reaction, it was a reaction she had run into only a couple times when she needed to confirm a woman's age: of course it was deeply satisfying as well. Shinoe was still very innocent and Semasu could tell just from her reaction, she expected more than a few rods in retort, but Semasu was prepared- even though she had acted on impulse previously.

Even though she was prepared, Shinoe had made an unusually aggressive shove and pushed Semasu right off the pier and into the water. She bobbed beneath the surface for a minute and intentionally waited as she held her breathe for dramatic effect before she resurfaced. She resurfaced with a pretend exasperation and shock, but a sly grin quickly spread across her face instead. Her white clothing was soaked and quite revealing, a fact that the cold water quickly made apparent to her womanly features. She waded in closer to the pier edge and hid her form from everyone's view but Shinoe's.

I didn't think you would get that surprised, I wanted to know how old you were and compared us.

She was trying not to laugh as she explained, but now she was somewhat embarrassed as well; her clothes being very revealing. She hugged the posts beneath the dock, slightly touching Shinoe's legs with her lithe body and looked up at Shinoe with a playful but helpless expression. There was an obvious difference in the size of their breasts and Semasu wanted to emphasize on the point to "help" Shinoe understand her curiosity. She reached for one of Shinoe's hands to have her feel Semasu's own breasts and "see" for herself.

Semasu could escape the area easy enough without anyone seeing her, but she wanted to wait and continue talking to this innocent girl who hadn't developed in these particular areas of interaction- it was quite cute to witness. With a flick of her wrist, she could teleport to her little house and change into dry clothes- her sword could easily teleport her the short distance to her house within the village.; but she waited. Even if things didn't go ideally with Shinoe, Semasu still fully intended to help the girl become stronger: both mentally and physically.

Shinoe stared as Semasu fell into the water and didn't surface. The brunette's eyes scanned the water's surface, wondering why the kunoichi hadn't bobbed up yet. Couldn't she swim? Panic began to run through her. Had she killed again? But then the ebony haired girl finally raised her head, taking a gulp of air before a mischievous smile spread across her face. Anger returned to Shinoe full force upon seeing that and she growled under her breath, annoyed that she had actually been worried over the pervert's well being. Like she could have drowned in such shallow water anyway... The woman was wading fairly easily as she made her way towards the pier's posts that was closest to Shinoe.

That was when she started to become acutely aware of the color of the outfit Semasu was wearing. White. And now, nearly transparent due to it being soaked. Her ears turned red as the Chuunin attempted to look anywhere BUT the wet woman. But her attention was drawn as she spoke, saying that she didn't think that she would react in such a way. To which Shinoe only scowled. "How was I supposed to react?! Random pervert.... Molesting someone is NOT the best way to determine someone's age! You could've just asked me ya know!"

As Semasu drew closer and pressed her body against her legs, Shinoe squirmed, her face recovering it's former cherry color. So distracted was she that the Chunin didn't even see the kunoichi's hand dart out to grab her own hand and force it to begin performing the same ministrations that she had. A yelp of surprise turned into a splutter of indignation as Semasu tried to explain her reasoning of her actions. "Obviously there's a huge difference!" Honestly, Shinoe was a centimeter or two jealous, but they probably would get in the way, especially since she relied on taijutsu.

Wrenching her hand away from the other girl's grasp and chest, Shinoe stood with an annoyed sigh, though her blush was still present. "Are you just going to stand in the ocean bothering me or are you going to get out and dry yourself off. You're embarrassing yourself. I expected a Tsuki Special Jounin to have more self-respect."

Pervert, a word she had been called a few times in her recent past; especially after realizing her "fondness" for other women. If it had any real insult in it, Semasu was unbothered by it; the look on Shinoe's face was enough to balance any indignation Shinoe might have felt towards her. The girl's whole face was red, even her ears: her blush was complete. Semasu wanted to tease the girl some more, but she knew the innocent girl was at her limits as it was.

The comment of her staying in the water and embarrassing herself held a certain level of truth to it. Semasu was uncomfortable with such things with men and she disliked them even looking at her. Suddenly she felt very exposed and shy as she looked up at Shinoe with a pretend helplessness.

Oh but the water is nice and cool~ I'd suggest you join me, you look like you're burning up with that blushing face~

She winked playfully at Shinoe, but had already guessed that Shinoe would prefer a less personal approach. Still, it usually never hurt to try! She crept closer to the edge of the pier and leaned against it with her torso pressed against the wooden surface. Either Shinoe would break under pressure and join her in the water or she would attempt to cover Semasu's exposed buoyant chest. Both options were very possible, but the first was less than likely. If Shinoe chose the latter, Semasu would grab the girl's hand as she neared her and then she would teleport them inside Semasu's little home. Where she would then change clothes and attempt a more "appropriate" interaction with the innocent Shinoe.

She wanted to know more about this girl and genuinely help her become stronger: if Semasu's flirtatious advances were too much for the girl, Semasu would be more casual.

Glancing down at Semasu again, Shinoe noticed the kunoichi's now shy and uncomfortable expression. Letting out an annoyed 'tch' noise, she considered just walking away. No...she couldn't just leave her here. Even if she was a random pervert. Eden said to help people when you had the power to. Who was she to argue with a Kage?

Sighing in resignation, the brunette looked back down at the girl as she suggested that she come down into the water with her to cool down her burning red face. The Chuunin scowled at the idea. As much as she loved water, she was sure that the other girl would try something if she did that. "If you need help getting up, just say something." Shinoe knelt down at the edge of the pier and reached her arm down, a hand offered to help Semasu up onto the pier.

"I can help you dry off so don't be embarrassed." If the Special Jounin didn't pull anything funny, then as soon as she helped the girl up, she would wrap her in a tight hug to hide her revealed form as well as beginning to absorb the excess water from her body.

Shinoe sure was a very kind soul, for a moment Semasu thought Shinoe would leave her to her own embarrassment. She knew better after only a couple seconds on thinking though, the scowling expression was enough to tell Semasu that Shinoe would help her regardless of her personal opinion of the "special jounin" The girl knelt on the pier in front of her and offered her a hand, Semasu's first reaction was to take her hand and teleport to her house, bt the way Shinoe was offering to help her- told Semasu that it would be more beneficial to wait and see.

She took Shinoe's hand lightly at first and then firmly as Shinoe supported her weight; which was increased from the amount of water her clothes had absorbed. Together Semasu was lifted back onto the dry dock and into the warm arms of Shinoe; Semasu was pleasantly surprised by the hug. It would be considered weird to accept a hug without hugging back, so Semasu gladly wrapped her arms around Shinoe, but in a normal fashion with little ulterior motives. Shinoe was warm and dry, at first; then the wetness from Semasu's clothes soaked Shinoe's front side.

She wasn't exactly sure why Shinoe hugged her; maybe she felt sorry for the confused girl? No that couldn't be it... it became clear when the wetness from her clothes began to disappear and she was beginning to feel dry again. So... Shinoe had either used some kind of jutsu or had a special KKG dealing with water. The process of absorbing the water was noticeable but not all together fast, thus the hug was prolonged- not that Semasu was complaining, but they were getting a few lengthy stares from people around the docks... and a couple fisherman out in the water.

This is an interesting ability you have, Shinoe-chan.

After the clothes were dry and the hug was ended, Semasu pulled back with a little blush on her face and thanked Shinoe properly for saving her from the embarrassment. Semasu thought the best way to thank her would be to treat her to another donut... her donuts! Her hands moved quickly to the pouch at her side and opened it and pulled out a couple soggy donuts- her face went pale and her lips trembled in a small worried pout. Those were special donuts that were only sold the day before!

Shinoe thought she saw a flicker of mischief flash in Semasu's eyes but was glad when the kunoichi simply accepted the help up. The girl wasn't as heavy as the brunette thought she was going to be considering she was soaked along with everything she was wearing. She wasn't surprised that her hug went uninterrupted and was even reciprocated, though it was getting awkward when passerby's began to stare... Shinoe simply tried to stare down and ignore them, concentrating on absorbing the water.

As Semasu remarked upon what she was doing, Shinoe cleared her throat and nodded before voicing, "It's my kekkei genkai. Pretty hand sometimes..." She supposed she might as well pass the time though, it was taking pretty long to absorb everything. She usually absorbed the water on herself rather than other people. "I'm from the Hozuki Clan. We use the Hydrification technique. I could've let your hands pass right through my chest if I wanted to. You kinda took me by surprise though." She tried to defend herself after she explained.

Watching Semasu pull away with a touch of blush dusting her cheeks made Shinoe smirk, though it soon went into a frown as the other girl paled upon opening her side pouch to take out some very drowned donuts. Grimacing, the Chuunin rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry...guess that's my fault huh?"

So, it was a kekkei genkai- true enough it was very handy, Semasu couldn't help but to agree with the girl. Still, she was surprised this girl possessed such an interesting ability. It was quite different than her own kekkei genkai, all hers was good for was destroying everything. It was a curse more than a blessing, often making the clan members' blood run hot and rampant; which led them to either fighting or really aggressive activities.

For once in her life, she envied someone; a girl. Shinoe was a gifted girl, both physically, with skills and her soul as well. Semasu felt a little shallow compared to this humble girl who worked hard to become a better person. Semasu was born with the volatile bloodline and blowing things up was way easier than molding or crafting stuff and making them look beautiful. Explosions in themselves were an art, a fleeting one that left only sadness, pain and terrible loneliness to the lucky ones to survive.

Her blush was gone completely now, as well as the pale expression she had previously been wearing. Donuts were pretty important to her, but right now she didn't feel like eating a donut. She masked her envy and offered a response to Shinoe's rhetorical question.

Well, to be fair- the donuts wouldn't be soggy if I had asked to grope you first. Instead I did it on impulse and this is my punishment.

She contemplated the girl before her with a serious expression for a brief moment; she knew Shinoe was sincere in wanting to become stronger, and Semasu wanted to help her. The biggest issue was whether or not their fighting styles were similar or not; she scanned the girl's body up and down for hints of Shinoe's preferred fighting style. Being fairly gifted in Nintaijutsu herself, she easily understood that Shinoe was physically fit. More fit than average ninja, that lead Semasu to the solid conclusion that Shinoe was likely a Nintaijutsu fighter. It wasn't that she was muscular or anything; by al appearance, Shinoe was a young dainty attractive girl with a great smile and shimmering eyes.

Her gate, as well as balance and the strength she showed when pulling Semasu out of the water; those were the factors that led Semasu to her conclusion. Even if the girl was innocent and inexperienced in relationships, her social interaction and words emanated a calm and collected aura of someone into melee fighting.

She didn't want to alarm the girl, sometimes her spot-on guesses on people worried them. Her favorite customer- an info broker named Nempo absolutely hated that part of her personality- quick on the up-take, very observant and good at connecting dots. He hardly ever came out with the better end of any of their deals. In fact, Semasu often wondered why Nempo even bothered to continue doing business with her. true enough her donuts she made were delicious, but he made hardly any profit at all by providing her the imformation she needed for her assassination missions.

Shinoe felt a little awkward, telling this practical stranger so much about herself. Though she supposed compared to the full truth of her past, mentioning her clan technique wasn't much. Soothed by this knowledge, the brunette eyed the Special Jounin for further reaction to her ruined donuts. She seemed pretty attached to them for some reason... But as the other girl stated that it was karma since she hadn't asked to grope her before she did it.  Sighing in exasperation, Shinoe shook her head. "That's not the problem idiot. You shouldn't have even asked. Who asks a random stranger if they can grope  someone? Ero-senpai... I told you you could've just asked me how old I was."

Stepping a bit away, Shinoe glanced to the left to see that the sun was beginning to officially set. When she looked back at Semasu, the girl was giving her more than just a once over and so the Chuunin stated flatly, "Pervert." But at the Special Jounin's seemingly random question, the brunette blinked once in surprise before smirking. "Both actually. You?" The other girl didn't seem like she was much of a fighter. But maybe that was her curves disguising her muscle.

It was true enough, Shinoe's statement couldn't be more true; even though Semasu enjoyed feeling up attractive women, she knew it was impolite. Most were older women and more often than not, they didn't mind- in fact, they had often returned the "favor" It was a practice Semasu had grown accustomed to, so she naturally did it before even asking- so simply asking seemed the more polite way to go about it, not doing it hardly crossed her mind in those situations.

Shinoe had noticed she was being studied and flatly called Semasu a pervert, her voice tone seemed less offended and more exasperated than anything. This interaction was quickly becoming a constant thing in their new friendship, Semasu thought it was quite the cute melodramatic tsundere routine Shinoe was giving her.

It came to her as no surprise that Shinoe was in fact, a Taijutsu and Nintaijutsu fighter; almost anyone could be fooled by her appearance however, not something that would escape the mind of such a woman as Semasu who admired the female anatomy greatly. She herself was a great Nintaijutsu fighter, but she was often underestimated by those who only saw her for her curvaceous body. Jealousy was Semasu's natural enemy; men underestimated her because of her physical appearance- a advantage she took advantage of all the time. Women were jealous of her and her clan's women, most men just burst out into nosebleeds when they saw Semasu.

She suddenly thought back to when she first met Saizo and their meeting since then, both of which had began with a massive nosebleed. She grinned to herself as she thought of that, Shinoe and Saizo were so much alike. Both of them were Hozuki and seemed to prefer to not make their kekkei genkai public knowledge. Semasu still wasn't sure the cause for this; had their clan done something terrible in the past? Surely it couldn't be as bad as her own clan, the Rankujo clan was constantly incurring debts and outraged merchants who had their stuff blown up by an ill-tempered woman.

I am a Nintaijutsu fighter myself, I use explosions as my element as I strike my foes- it's quite effective.. though it has its price.

She didn't bother discussing that particular topic, the bloodline didn't actually have a set "price" or drawback; it was just that her clan was violent by nature and feared by most civilians in the city. Fear often bread acts of unnecessary violence and hatred to her clan. Semasu held out her left hand and curled it into a fist and flexed her arm, her muscle wasn't big or out of place against her smooth skin, but it was noticeable.

People often mistake me for some helpless large breasted female; I admit, it gives me an advantage when I'm underestimated... but it's really annoying. So~ what do you say? Do you want to spar a little and let me see how far you've come with your nintaijutsu and taijutsu? I don't mind a little fun, in fact- I enjoy a good spar with friends. I spar with Saizo whenever I see him, after he recovers from the nosebleeds anyways.

Shinoe shook her head in mild exasperation at Semasu's lack of reaction to being called a pervert yet again. She must be used to it she supposed. How many other women had she molested? And was she the first to protest? The brunette was distracted from her musings when the other kunoichi stated that she too was a nintaijutsu fighter, which made her eyebrows raise in surprise, nodding her head in approval. "Explosions huh? Sounds impressive. I guess it would be difficult to master so you don't blow yourself up huh? Heh." She chuckled a little at the thought and then sniggered more as she thought of a particularly funny scenario.

But she calmed herself down as she realized that Semasu was talking seriously with her and noticed the toned yet noticeable muscles on her flexed arm. Her statement made Shinoe start to look at the kunoichi in another light. To be honest, that was also her first impression before she had revealed that she was a Special Jounin. But she knew how hard it was to be a kunoichi and Semasu had proved herself by earning her rank she was sure. So when she offered to spar with her, Shinoe eager. "That sounds perfect. I've been a bit out of practice since I've become a Chuunin, I've been doing stupid boring missions."

Then the part about Saizo kicked in. [color=#336699]"Wait what? You know Saizo? Heh that sure sounds like him..." Looking around the pier she would then state, "As much as I'd love to get started right now, I don't think the fisherman would appreciate us causing a ruckus or possibly destroying things. Plus, don't want to give myself too much of an advantage being so close to water. Can't have my sparring partner being defeated right off the bat." Shinoe grinned cockily.

With Shinoe freely admitting she had shown leniency after becoming a Chunnin, was all the "permission" Semasu needed. It was good that Shinoe was still willing to train with her, and Semasu was glad to help another female ninja become stronger. This was a man's world.. it always seemed to be that way, and only the strong and independent females were capable of proving their worth. They had to work extra hard though, to not be trampled on by the pride of men; several times Semasu had completely destroyed that pride, with her fist or explosions.

Then Shinoe mentioned that she knew Saizo; Semasu was surprised, but not bewildered. The two of them were from the same clan, so why should it be weird that they knew each other? Even so, meeting two Hozuki clan members who knew each other was impressive. The Hozuki members didn't really like each other much from what Semasu could gather.

Oh~ So you do know Saizo~

She gave Shinoe a playful wink and left the innocent girl's mind to wonder on her own. She looked around and had to admit that they couldn't fight at this place for several reasons. While it was true that Semasu had recently obtained a large sum of ryo from assassination missions, she didn't want to waste it on repairing the docks after she blew them up. Indeed it was even more true that Shinoe would have quite the situational advantage this near the water.

That could be easily remedied though, she moved a step closer to Shinoe to alert the girl that she had some intention; after a modest couple of seconds, she advanced on the girl. She would wrap her right arm around Shinoe's waist and pull their bodies very close together.

I'm going to take us somewhere more... private, somewhere we can both let lose without fear of eyes upon us and judge us.

Again she had left the girl's mind to wander after hearing her vague and misleading explanation. Her breathe could be felt on Shinoe's neck as Semasu spoke and removed her sword from its sheathe on her back and slashed at the air. Likely this would confuse Shinoe, but soon enough she would understand; she kept a tight hold on Shinoe because she figured the girl might try to struggle because of their previous interactions.

The air suddenly flushed red in the spot she had slashed with her sword and both the girls were sucked into the dimensional rift in thin air. One second they were there on the lake, the next second- they were far off on an island a good distance from the pier. The little island was large enough to run a good distance before reaching water in any direction, but it was rich in moisture as well.

It was as fair of an advantage she could give both of them; anywhere else and the air would be too dry or too moist. Her explosions weren't affected by moisture so the damp environment was not a problem for her. Shinoe would have been confused by the sudden change in scenery and probably disoriented as well, Semasu could not stand the first couple dozen jumps after using her sword's teleportation technique. She would keep her arm around Shinoe's waist until the strength would return to the girl. She held up her sword in explanation.

My sword, has the ability to teleport me wherever I wish to be.

Shinoe couldn't quite place Semasu's tone when she noted that she and Saizo knew each other as well, but didn't particularly like it. But at the supposedly playful wink the brunette received, she simply frowned. Perhaps she liked Saizo? The shinobi couldn't be bothered with such things at the moment though and was more concerned about the other girl approaching closer to her. As Semasu's arm snaked around her waist and pulled them close together, Shinoe's blush started to return as she protested, "What are you doing now?!" Her fellow kunoichi's words did nothing to alleviate the Hozuki's worries however.

As Shinoe felt Semasu's warm breath tickling her neck, the girl shivered and attempted to talk her out of it, "H-Hey now, what do you mean let loose? We're just going to spar right? Right?!" But her minor struggles ceased when she saw the Special Jounin take her sword out of it's sheathe. Feelings of panic and betrayal flashed through the Chuunin's mind but it started to die down a little when she saw Semasu simply...slash at the air. But then there was a burst of red light and she felt a sudden sucking sensation on her entire body before she became dizzy and pressed her eyes closed.

When the odd sensations stopped, Shinoe opened her eyes and they became wide upon seeing that they had been transported. They were now on an island and the pier was simply a blur in the distance across the water. Suddenly her head began to hurt a little and the brunette rubbed her forehead as if she could rub the pain away. At Semasu's explanation, the kunoichi paused before stating, "....That's...convenient. I thought it was some kind of jutsu. Where do you even get a sword like that? Nng...you coulda warned me though ya know." The Chuunin gripped with a wince.

Semasu held on to Shinoe for a considerable moment until she was certain the girl could stand on her own two feet again. She stood close by though, in case Shinoe fainted from the sudden changes in her vertigo and senses.

Seeing the girl was surprised with the sword's ability, Semasu was not at all impressed- she had had the sword for a while now and it had become an everyday part of her life. In a sense, it was important to her, but she preferred her fists over swords any day.

The sword actually appeared before me one day. The sword itself has the desire to see the world, unseen or not- it chose me to accompany it on its journey.

She wasn't trying to sound impressive, but she had to admit that it did sound cool. She took a few steps back from Shinoe and took a solid stance before turning to face the pretty girl again. She bent down and picked up some dirt, it was a nice balance of moist and dry; she emphasized that.

This was the best place for a fair fight between us, ot's properly moistened while also fairly dry. You would have difficulty drawing large quantities of water without first running a good distance to reach the mass of water. Though the air and ground itself has all the extra moisture you need.

Semasu was beginning to understand the base principles of the Hozuki, she had fought Saizo before- but at the time, he had mostly wanted to show her what his ne sword could do. She smiled at that meeting, that was a good spar. She looked at Shinoe and hoped she could expect the same from this girl.

Seeing as how I use the explosive element, I'll let you begin the initial strike; often times my initial attacks are too brutal.

Though Shinoe definitely didn't like the sensation of being transported via sword, it didn't take too long for her to gather her wits and stand up on her own, taking a big gulp of fresh air to clear her mind. She nodded gratefully for Semasu's support though, wondering if the other woman thought she was frail enough to faint. The Hozuki was surprised at the Special Jounin's tale of how she came by the transporting sword and found it a little far-fetched, but who was she to judge? Especially when she had just seen what it could do.

The brunette watched as the curvy woman crouched down to get a feel for the earth under their feet and she could see by it's dark consistency that it was lush with moisture and yet there weren't any puddles as it hadn't rained in a week or so. At Semasu's comments on the ideal-ness of the island, Shinoe chuckled and squinted her eyes towards the island's beach, noting that the wasn't exactly close. True as a Suiton user and Hozuki she could pull moisture out of the plants, earth and air, but it still took a good bit of effort and concentration. Which was why she usually relied on the two canteens of water she kept on her person at all times. She could try and make a run for the shore, but then Semasu would take advantage of an opening. She probably knew how her kekkei genkai worked if she had met Saizo before so she couldn't rely solely on that.

At the Special Jounin's warning that she was giving the other girl the first strike as hers were usually too brutal, Shinoe simply gave a feral grin. This was going to be fun. Adopting her usual taijutsu fighting stance, the Chuunin eyed Semasu intensely before sprinting towards the woman and then dashing to the right and then using Shunsui to propel herself even faster towards the woman again, raising her fist punch the Special Jounin in the stomach and just a moment before it was supposed to connect, she would use her Hydro Blaster Technique, using her Hydrification technique to compress an amount of water in fist before firing off the water and continuing with her punch.

Semasu was probably a bit off with measuring Shinoe's ability to draw water, she had witnessed Saizo doing similar things and automatically assumed Shinoe could. Either way, by the look on the Chuunin's face, Semasu could tell the girl meant to make the best of the given situation. How else could one improve after all, if they only trained in ideal environments? Semasu made a mental note to help Shinoe train in a desert next time: though the issue with that would be getting out of the desert if her sword didn't feel like teleporting them. Trivial detains, if necessary- she could have Shinoe use her hydrofication to produce water... though retrieving it from Shinoe's body might be a little more... challenging.. but surely exciting!

Shinoe's face changed to a game face and she tensed her muscles; she had suddenly darted to the right side, a good move. Her propelled speed through utilizing her jutsu was a smart move indeed, Semasu hadn't accounted for the small increase in speed and momentum. By the time she had brought both of her hands down in a "V" crossed guard, Shinoe's fist had already slipped through. It wasn't a simple punch though, naturally this girl would employ her water element into her physical attacks. That was why she chose Nintaijutsu after all.

Her punch hit like a brick as it struck her mid-section and rocked her backwards, she doubled backwards to regain her proper footing and relaxed her lungs to make the air flow into her body naturally, this was to reduce the pain from having the wind knocked out of her. Maybe she had been too sure of herself in letting the Chuunin go first? No, that couldn't be- implementing explosions so early in a fight was a sure way to end it before it began.

That was a nice beginning move!

She laughed out loud, her blood was beginning to boil now- the volatile chakra starting to take shape with her intentions. She performed a single hand seal and released the flow of ration chakra into both of her hands; a thin yellow layer encased her hands up to her forearms and resembled a chakra blade. In fact, it was chakra blades made of lightning! She dashed at the girl, one hand held high and the other held backwards for a bolstered direct strike.

I can see you have basic manipulation through willpower down, but how is your evasive and defensive skills?

Semasu's attack was more than just brute strength, she purposefully used Shinoe's natural weakness and incorporated it into her own physical strikes. If Shinoe used her hydrafication ability to make the physical strikes ineffective, she would still feel the lightning: could she withstand the lightning enough to keep her form aquatic? There was a chance Shinoe wouldn't do this at all, and Semasu was prepared for that as well.

Regardless, she would continue with her strikes, her higher strike would aim for the girl's face- while her backwards srike would aim for her Solar Plexus. Both strikes were intent on hitting, but the real strength of her strike was in the lower strike, the face strike was to see how well the girl could concentrate in battle with danger right before your face.

Shinoe gave a small smile of satisfaction in seeing that even though the Special Jounin hadn't dodged her jutsu, and took both of the hits. Semasu had slid backwards slightly and looked like she had gotten the wind knocked out of her from the blows. But when she stood straight and stated that it was a good beginning move, the Hozuki's trademark sea hued eyes narrowed. It seemed that she hadn't done as much damage as she had thought.

With that wary thought in mind, the Chuunin jumped away from her opponent, putting some much needed space between them as she saw her chakra begin to gather into blades on the girl's hands before she asked a very foreboding question, dashing towards her. So she was wanted to test her huh? This was certainly a dangerous test, judging from the electricity sparking out from the chakra blades. She would have to take care to avoid those.

But Semasu was faster than she thought and before she knew it, the perverted sempai was already in front of her, trying to hit her face and torso. Her instant reaction was to immediately use her Hiding in Water technique complimented with her Hydrification technique to turn into water and pool into a puddle at Semasu's feet before moving her puddle form behind the Special Jounin and then rising up to her solid form and raising up her arm before grinning and stating, "It's over." Shinoe activated her Water Prison Technique. Water gushed out of her mouth to form a large sphere around Semasu's body, trapping her with the thick water.

She had caught her, Semasu had underestimated the Chuunin and taken her skills with water too lightly, to think the girl had learned a complex jutsu like Water Prison. There were two options available to Semasu at this point; the battle had pretty much already been decided, Semasu wouldn't be able to retaliate without some kind of 3rd party source. Semasu held her breathe as she continued to look at the Hozuki girl with her arm sticking inside the water bubble.

She could either admit defeat or show the girl that there were ways to escape this formidable jutsu; she chose the latter, relying too much on such a jutsu could also put the girl in a very bad situation against the wrong opponent. A sudden red aura emanated from Semasu's body and exploded violently, shattering the water prison and knocking Shinoe backwards.

Semasu dropped to the ground and breathed in the fresh air, Shinoe was constantly making her draw in fresh air; water really was annoying to go up against. She stood up and inspected the girl she had knocked backwards with the close proximity explosion.

Don't rely so heavily on such a jutsu, against someone who has expertise in explosions- that jutsu can be useless if they've trained their body right. You would have been in a much worse position by someone else who could bypass your water prison.

Her hands still glowed with lightning blades as she held them up half-hazardly to show the girl she hadn't immediately taken up any offensive position.

That was a brilliant plan, and had bit been nearly anyone else your level, it would have worked perfectly. Would you like to continue?

If the girl wanted to continue, Semasu would rush her again; the same tactic, but this time with more effort. As she came closer to the girl, she would punch the ground and kick up sand to conceal her movements, replacing herself from the immediate sight of Shinoe with a clone. If damaged or inconpatitated, the clone would explode and leave a crater in the ground where it had been standing. The clone was capable of independent actions and speech and had the basic concept on taijutsu; without a Doujutsu or special jutsu to differentiate, no one could tell the difference.

The real Semasu was beneath ground and out of sight, watching to see how the girl would react to the "same" method twice.

Shinoe couldn't help but grin with the knowledge that she had one upped her senpai. The Water Prison technique wasn't wise to use when one was going against more than one opponent, but if it was just one on one...the situation would end up like this. The Hozuki planned on chatting with her helpless captive, perhaps brag a little and even tease, but there was no time for that as a red aura suddenly began to emit from Semasu just before there was a violent explosion; breaking apart the sphere of water and blasting the brunette away. Landing some feet away on a knee, Shinoe managed to keep her balance through the explosion. She was soaked with now hot water, but absorbed it quickly as well as the rest of the surrounding excess water.

She glared up at the Special Jounin as she cautioned her on how to use her own jutsu. But right after that, she offered praise and the sentiment that it likely would have worked flawlessly on someone her own level. Giving off a disgruntled 'hmph', the Chuunin glanced away before considering the offer to continue. "Of course I do!" 'If I can't even beat her...I'll have no chance of beating him.' But as soon as she had said that, Semasu suddenly punched the ground kicked up quite a bit of dust, causing her to cough and wave away the vision obscuring nuisance enough to see that her opponent was still there.

And attacking, which made her stand and get into fighting stance immediately. The Special Jounin was doing the same moves as before, minus the flashy chakra blades. Normal taijutsu Shinoe could handle and match in spades. To the girl's left hand approaching her face, she rose her right arm in a ninety degree angle before pushing it right to block and push away the offending fist. While doing this, she angled back her torso as she brought her left leg upwards, to kick up the right fist aiming at her torso's center before Semasu exploded violently yet again, this time with no warning whatsoever.

The first thing she registered was heat and then force. She knew she was thrown back, but couldn't say how many times she tumbled, or how far she was pushed. Shinoe couldn't breathe, could see but couldn't register anything and could feel, but wish she wasn't. It was a moment before she could force her body to take a ragged painful breath before letting it out in a word spoken sigh, "...F@#k..." And then groaned at the fact that that simple act of speaking had hurt. Semasu had said she specialized in explosions, but she had expected them to be noticeable. This was what a Special Jounin was like?
