| Eden's Pendant: Kaminaridamashī -- Pronounced "Nai-dama" [雷魂 -- Lightning Soul] Type: Item - Pendant Rank: S-rank Quantity: One Description: This pendant is ancient in appearance and it still remains unknown in terms of the world's history. It is 3 inches thick, 10 inches long, and 10 inches wide. Along its edges are strange designs from a different time period, and at its center lay an eye that peers forward endlessly, unshaken by the troubles of the world. This pendant seems to be forged out of an unknown and very powerful imbued metal, and when it comes in contact with a host it deems worthy, it attaches itself to the host's chest (the center, an inch below the collar bone) and molds itself into the host's body on a molecular level. Abilities: The ability of this pendant is very simple. It allows the host to punch a second time with a single punch. (A similar example of this would be Naruto's Frog Kumite in canon). The difference between this and the canon Frog Kumite is that the second strike does not knock the opponent back, which allows combinations to be possible; it also keeps the same strength as the normal strike. This ability can be manipulated by its host at will once properly trained. The mastery of this item will require a 3,000-word training topic, as well as a mission to show the ability being applied in actual combat. These requisites can be combined into one, at the discretion of the host. There is one primary side-effect to this pendant.
- The host gains a mental inhabitant: a soul that represents the host's past, to a "T". In Eden's case, the soul is of a young boy who is basically a nihilist, and he feels no sort of emotion. During that period of his life, he was a machine build for war, and he was taught to not desire emotions that can hinder his abilities during combat. This new voice in Eden's head constantly fills his mind with questions that bring back memories Eden prefers not to remember. This often hinders his ability to concentrate on important tasks. The soul's age is equivalent to half the host's age minus four, so the soul's age for Eden is 10 years old.
History: Eight months ago, Eden came across this pendant while looking for information regarding Hisame's whereabouts. At that time in particular, he was deep in the mountains of Storm Country seeking out an old sage who changed his location every three months. It was imperative that Eden at least attempt to ask the old man what he may know, for he had heard rumors the old man knew a great many things. At great odds to leave the village for a short time to find this man, he arrived at a Doton-built home. When he had questioned the old man regarding Hisame, he stated that her current whereabouts were shrouded and he could not say more. As a parting gift to Eden for his determination, he gave him a pendant that looked to have an eye at its center. The sage warned him that if he took it out of its wrapping, it would bind to him and give him a very rare ability. But at a cost. Eden thanked the old man and left silently, heading back to Tsukigakure in a hurry. On his way through the eastern borders of Cherry Blossom Country, the pendant activated itself and attached itself to the center of Eden's chest. Before his mind could register any pain, he fell unconscious mid-run. Two days later, he awoke, with the pendant perfectly placed within the center of his chest; no signs were shown that it was forced or that the chest was cut. After checking his vitals, he deemed himself capable of moving on at full speed, and returned home with a gift that he knew not yet what trouble it would cause him.
