First Name: Spira
Last Name: Kaguya
Alias: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Height: 6'02"
Weight: 175lbs
Birthday: Jan 5
Sexuality: Straight
Relationships: Jojo Kaguya/Sister(Deceased)
Affiliation: Jungle
Rank: Chuunin
Element: Lightning, Wind, Earth
Specialization: Ninjustu, Taijutsu
Personality: A strange person in terms of his seemingly universal knowledge, however he is kind towards those who he calls friends. His seemingly endless pool of knowledge, and unending kindness make him a wonderful person, however his dark center of anger is enough to make most opponents tremble. The very thing he wants is also the very thing he fears, the sister he strives to surpass.
He seems to struggle with an internal power balance, which causes him to zone out randomly. His dark, anger is constantly at war with his kind self. He feels that one day, he may very well snap and harm everyone around him in an instant. He does what he can to keep contained, even if it hurts himself in the process. Although he's a bit quiet and somewhat cryptic in his answers to some questions, he's calm and hard working; understanding most as if reading them and their souls.
However, some would say the most defining characteristic of his personality is his empathy towards those who deserve it, and complete apathy to those he cares little for. However despite this, he still helps anyone should they require it, as is his moral code of which he follows to the letter. He prefers to not stray from these codes, however there are few cases where he must, and this has led to his inner conflict becoming more fierce.
Another defining characteristic of his personality is his perceived inability to be mean towards others. Most think it's due to his implied dislike of fighting, but his drive for tough opposition says otherwise. He fights with everything he has every time, all the time, no matter who his opponent.
Likes: Spira enjoys missions that test his skills, especially those with tough opponents and the chance to help others in the process. The one thing in particular about these missions is the chance to get a delicious bowl of Ramen at the end of the day, making him especially happy. He often looks forward to the chance to take a rest, and often ends up sleeping more than most people, causing him to feel the need to stretch very often.
Dislikes: Spira doesn't particularly dislike anything. He feels that all life is valuable, no matter how small or large, important or insignificant. He feels that everything and everyone has a purpose, and has their reasons. If anything, he'd say he dislikes killing people, as it keeps the person who died from fulfilling their purpose in life. On top of that, there's his father that he can't say he dislikes, but at the same time doesn't really like.
Motivation: Spira is motivated by drive to one day surpass his sister, and at the same time also loves getting food-related rewards at the end of the day, which usually involves getting to eat new kinds of Ramen. Within he holds an inner hope that he can be the strongest of Shinobi, topping even his sister in power, and one day, even the five Kages.
Fears: Spira fears that he may very well end up hurting, or worse killing his sister in surpassing her.. At the same time, there are many things that make him uncomfortable, such as a certain form of claustrophobia concerning women, and a rather strange fear of his sister that nobody seems to understand, not even him. With that, he's often uncomfortable around most unfamiliar people, causing him to be seemingly shy.
KaguyaBloodline Name: Shikotsumyaku (Dead Bone Pulse)
Bloodline Ability: Shikotsumyaku (Literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse) is the kekkei genkei of the Kaguya clan, which gave them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). By infusing these, as well as their calcium, with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. The ability seems to be rare amongst the clan members. This ability gives the user a unique skeletal structure.
The main capability of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. At advanced levels, users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel.
Location: Village Hidden in the Jungle
Clan History: The Kaguya clan was an extinct clan, known to have been very barbaric. Select few possessed the kekkei genkei Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. With a few exceptions of the Kaguya, the clan was killed off when attacking a major village in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. The younglings left behind would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan, but eventually died of a terminal disease.
Years later, a cloaked man appeared in the Jungle. At first sight, he appeared as an outsider however, he remarkably knew his way around in this land. It was when he took of his cloak in the Temple that people recognized him, not his name, not who he was, but his ancestors. The two red dots on his forehead were sign of the Kaguya clan. The first reaction to his presence was fear. What would the offspring of the extinct Kaguya clan do? For all they knew was that the clan was extinct. Yet the man meant no harm to them and stated that he wished the rebuild the Kaguya again in safe and new environment. Not just for himself he said as he pointed at the other cloaked figure who took of her hat, but also for his wife and newborn son.
The jungle negotiated and accepted them and even granted them the Temple as a building for their clan only, which was soon later renamed to the Kaguya Temple. Some say that the Kage was being generous while others say that there is a hidden agenda in which the Kaguya have some role that they are not even aware of yet. Only time can tell us what happened. Is there anything in store for them? Who knows. It has been a while and that Kage has already passed away; yet another has gone since that, as well. Will the latest Kage know of this?
History: Spira was strange, even as a child. Shortly after birth, he began exhibiting anti-social tendencies, however a few years later, he began to take an interest in others. At first, he was nothing like his sister, Jojo, however as the years passed, he began to feel that she was the only family he'd had all of his life.
At the age of ten, his kekkei genkai began to emerge. He quickly found that he could control these strange happenings with but a thought, giving him power he never knew he had. He began to pick fights, most of which were quickly brought to an end.
A year later, he began training, enrolling in the shinobi academy to become a full fledged ninja. He soon felt, however, that it wouldn't be enough, that he'd need more than the basics to take on more powerful opponents. He began to train outside of the academy, working day and night to hone his shinobi skills, eventually strengthening himself for the many battles ahead.
At the age of twelve, he began to practice his Ninjutsu, and mastering his kekkei genkai. At first, he found it incredibly difficult, but soon he managed to gain complete control over his power, and used it for more constructive purposes. During his training, he decided he would help out around the village, using his kekkei genkai to the benefit of others.
At the age of thirteen, he graduated from the academy early as he showed signs of advancement, signs that he was beyond the academies range to teach. However, even out of the reach of his sensei, he trained hard, still perfecting his Taijutsu and Ninjutsu.
At fourteen, Spira began taking his training outside the village, finding ways to train that he'd never thought of within the walls that protected him for so long. He began by training with ninja who used wind based jutsu, then eventually shifted to those of earth based jutsu a month later.
At fifteen, he began to practice with ninja specializing in lightning based jutsu, and began to realize that he alone could quite possibly end up out doing his sister, in terms of endurance, and tenacity, finding himself pushed to, and beyond his limits.
At sixteen, he hurried his training, quickly feeling that he was behind. There were still so many jutsu he didn't know, and so little time to learn. He went on a frightening study spree, trying to find ways to not only learn new jutsu, but to add to his own. He began to develop ideas for his own jutsu, one that he could call his own. He felt it best to wait until the time was right.
At seventeen, his life began to turn on it's head, quickly. He didn't realize it at first, but somewhere during this time, his sister, Jojo Kaguya, had been killed. After eventually hearing of his sister's untimely demise, he secluded himself in his training grounds by the waterfall of Kusamuragakura. Here he trained constantly, strengthening himself, though at the cost of some portion of his sanity, eventually having set up a small camp to survive the weather, if any. This lasted for several months until he'd finally taken his qualms to a higher power, still wanting to outdo his sister.
He'd made a direct statement, stating that he'd wanted to become a Chuunin to further his training, to better himself in ways that he felt a Genin could not. In doing this, he'd taken on several missions, completing most with the utmost efficiency possible with the abilities he had. Fortunately, after a year of doing everything he was told, and pushing himself to and beyond his limits, he was eventually given the chance to achieve what he continually strives for, a chance to better himself as a shinobi, and a step closer to being better than his late sister.
However, he felt it had come at a price, like a certain level of morality had vanished. No, something more than his morality, as if a small piece of his soul were no longer there. He knew what he'd been striving for all along, but felt that the dream of it was that much closer to coming to an end. Even still, he knew he had to move forward, as that was the only direction he could go without being consumed by the darkness that inevitably lurked not only within himself, but likely in all ninja.
Now at the age of eighteen, his story continues, one that has been of striving achievements, and striding determination.
RP Sample: Spira realized that he was out matched in every way while confronting his opponent. He felt weak, and exhausted. He'd managed to burn most of his energy just trying to stay alive, but this, this could very well be the end. Spira Only hoped that he could last until his friends arrived, however there was a voice in his mind telling him to run, to get away as fast as possible, even though his legs could no longer move of volition. He tried to stand, but to no avail, his legs were numb and his muscles worn out from the constant fighting and running. His black coat was all but annihilated, and the rest of his clothes ripped and torn from the many hits they'd taken from the enemy's seemingly limitless supply of power.
