Are teammates needed for this site? Because I've been reading the recent RPs since my hiatus and it seems every village besides mine and Boufuu have now formed squads of two/three with senseis/leaders.

If it isn't required, good, then I will keep on traveling and gaining experience from other villages. If it is, then this stinks 'cause there's really no one in my village. Besides Xion and maybe Yoshi if she comes back.

Also, my mission has not been approved for almost a month now. Who and where is the acting Kage since my Kage is busy irl? Also if the acting Kage is busy can a mod approve it?

I feel like I have so many ideas for missions but no opportunity to do them. So please, someone approve my missions. Because you guys know Yuumaru will do missions like there's no tomorrow, if given the opportunity to do so.

Also Isais, we're training I know but you're taking a long time and I have to earn my RYO one way or another for my jutsus anyway, or else our training is useless. So I have to do missions for new jutsus.

Send me a PM when you need missions approved. As for teammates, this is not required. However, you shouldn't even be allowed to travel outside your village since you're a Genin, so this is a rather large issue since nobody managed to catch it.

Anyways, about this question: would becoming a Missing-Nin solve the problem? Or is there any other way for me to not be stuck in Kusa and roleplay by myself?

I'm not sure why you haven't yet, but you have enough EXP to rank up to Chuunin. At Chuunin, you can get permission from someone of higher rank in your village to be able to leave.
