Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas) Empty
PostSubject: Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas)   Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas) EmptyThu Jul 24, 2014 9:36 pm

Yuu found himself wander through a unique area in the afternoon, when it was cold, otherwise; the Frozen Tundra. Here, though it was always freezing, the wind was especially present within Hyougagakure. The wind; an essential element comparable to Yuu, hence his clan name: The Will of the Wind. As member of The Will of the Wind, Yuu suggested that God was the wind, Himself, and that the sky was His greatest creation. According to his clan, the Sky God derived from the sky above, and reigned upon the heavens as God's second-in-command. These were the rumours spread by The Will of the Wind, anyway; the perceptions of another clans remained unknown for the time being. Albeit, Yuu was here not only for the wind, but rather to discover the dangers of the tundra, itself. Hunters were often found here, where they could seek shinobi whilst the guards were off-duty. It was the perfect place; an enriched land only guarded by snow, itself. Those who specialized with Suiton could easily establish their own defense upon the tundra, though otherwise, here is where the opposition had an advantage. As an arrogant young fellow, of course Yuu was here to hopefully annihilate an enemy or two. If this were not to be the case, Yuu would be thankful; he would be able to thoroughly scan what most could not see- or at least live to see, in that sense.

Yuu began in the northeast sector of the tundra, where he had been summoned by Sylvanas: his newly assigned Sensei. In the northeast, the snow was most heavy, though it was also where the hunters were non-existent. Yuu was forced to wear a heavy cloak during this time, along with some baggy pants, and generally strong boots. It was not the best attire to dress oneself in whilst in the Frozen Tundras, but it would do. Yuu grinned as he wondered what kind of personality Sylvanas would have. According to the rumours he heard about her, Sylvanas seemed fearsome to Genin and Academy Students. Yuu, however, found it difficult to quiver before someone he did not know. Additionally, it was only once or twice that Yuu had ever become frightened of something through battle; never had he become afraid of someone through mere interaction. Albeit, Yuu awaited the lady, and made use of his warm apparel while he could.

Sylvanas stood, thirty meters to the western direction of Yuu, preparing herself for the combat training she had been preparing for, for the last three weeks. Five shinobi ran, jumped and landed, encircling her. It was an all out ambush-scenario. Sylvanas crouched low, looking around her, assuming a post-offensive, pre-defensive stance. She counted their numbers quickly, recording information about the shinobi as they passed her gaze. The first carried a shortsword and a kunai. This meant he was heavy handed, strong, and most likely possesses increased agility. The second had no weapons out, Sylvanas immediately assuming that the shinobi was a Jutsu Specialist, most likely a mid-ranged attacker to assist a frontline fighter such as the first shinobi mentioned. The third had a battleaxe with what seemed to be detachable sections stemming from the handle throughout the bridge. A large spike rests on the tip of the weapons steel surface. Sylvanas thought this weapon would be skillfully applied, considering it can increase in length in a lunging fashion, or cleave a person in two. Her advantage being that this shinobi is most likely slow and sluggish in his movement, but dangerous in his melee capability.

The fourth was a unique individual, his body covered in a suit of armor, but his hands baring no weaponry. Sylvanas assumes this to be to him potentially being a Weapon Summoning Specialist. The fifth was a slender woman, finely toned, wielding two claws on her fingers like brass knuckles, elongated for ripping and slicing. She would be highly agile and extremely skilled in Taijutsu. As they closed in, about seventy feet out, Sylvanas held her hand in position, the Hidden Mist Technique quickly enveloped the area, clouding the vision of those within the boundaries confined by the realm of white darkness. Before the Mist completely took its effect, Sylvanas had activated the Water Clone Technique, having Body Flickered about ten meters north of her previous location, providing ample coverage through its trees and canopy. The Water Clone would act as a diversion, still being controlled by Sylvanas, she held her hands in seperate positions, quickly forming the seals needed to unleash a powerful Water Conjugation Method only highly skilled Water Release users have ever managed to utilize, no less a small girl. "There! Two of them!" The second shinobi shouted, his voice bellowing over the soundwaves around. He hadn't realized Sylvanas` position, and that only worked to her advantage even more now that he had spoken. Sylvanas was so skilled in the Hidden Mist Technique and the Silent Killing method, she could strike ruthlessly and effectively even when blinded, using nothing more than her hearing.

That was furthered by her unique capability of activating Ninjutsu, only having to use one hand. The second shinobi is one that Sylvanas knows, as is the third. Coramoto, and Edame.  They both used a conversion technique at the same time, and due to its massive size and the power level of the technique, if they were even in the vicinity of the attack they'd be torn to shreds and crushed beneath rubble and dirt. Sylvanas recognized the technique he had used, something known as "Earth Release: Worldly Evaporation Technique". It had devastating power, but was only a B-Rank technique. This tremendous quality of the technique is only caused by Coramoto's clan, the Drgi. They have a great understanding of the element and due to their kekkei genkai, blood limit, they have an enhanced prowess over Earth Release techniques and relations. The technique, in this form, certainly is powerful, but Sylvanas knows it has a weakness as well. The spikes will only protrude while chakra is being channeled toward them, the moment this connection of energy is interrupted, the technique stops in its tracks.

Over course, before acting, she noted Edame's position and breathing patterns. He was scared, breathing and huffing heavily. And he had a good reason to be. He knew who Sylvanas was, as he was her partner at one time. He murmured under his breath. "Once you enter the Hidden Mist with Ookami, you do not leave it alive.." He was consumed with that very statement. Isais once told him it, himself. He knew very well what she was capable of, and he it seemed he accepted his fate. He took his kunai, slicing his throat. He began to bleed out, falling to the ground in a thud. His body contained many secrets, and a contract with his kekkei genkai allows him, in exchange for his life, to kill himself permanently, and cause his mind to be wiped of all memory of existence. Information, dust in the wind and lost. Sylvanas shook her head. Edame.. She thought. Her mind was racing. Still, she pursued in the assault. Sylvanas decided this was the perfect time to try her new technique out. With her right hand, she held a single handsign up, and without warning, all of the Mist seemed to disappear and form a gigantic surge of falling water above Coramoto. Everything was now visible.

The sudden change in lighting would cause untrained eyes to be momentarily blinded by the oncoming rays of energy, causing the pupil to shrink and strain for vision. Sylvanas unleashed the technique, and although it was C-Rank, she utilized a Conjugation Method, a strategic usage and placement plan of techniques to form a trump. Due to the sunlight, Coramoto did as she assumed, and he was blinded, looking down to the ground. He'd have no idea the Mist would have disappeared, nor would he notice the massive waterfall above him due to the shadow created by its sheer size. It would seem like it suddenly got dark again. This not only stopped his technique, small spikes of Earth and grass protruding from the ending mark it left on the ground in front of it, but it also provided clearance for her technique in its prime function, to disable the opponent.

The water surged onward, waves washing Coramoto down underneath them. It was at this point that Sylvanas used her other free hand, activating a single seal once more, she activated a technique that allows her to become the form of water at will if she is near it. At this point, all of the water created would not have stopped falling yet, so, she was directly next to the rounded tail of the water currently drowning Coramoto out. She seemed to evaporate into nothingness as she took the trip into a watery form. Thanks to this technique, she can also partially reverse its application, and appear at will from the water when needed. As the tail had just landed and hit the ground where Coramoto and the remaining shinobi were, the rapids would take over as the massive wave began crushing their bones. Sylvanas seemed to be 'teleporting' in a sense, inside of the water, blurred images of her body popping out, attacking with two kunai, and then retreating back into the form of the crushing rapids.

It was an foolproof attack, providing a massive defensive advantage, and an even greater offensive potential if used correctly. She let the technique drop as it settled. Coramoto's body lay lifeless on the ground beyond the feet of Sylvanas, the shinobi following him, scattered throughout the area. His clothing and skin seemed to be maimed and completely mangled. Blood pooled around the cave entrance, being mixed with the water that was now settling around pockets of earth around the cave. Edame's body was also washed away by the waters, his corpse settling against a nearby tree about nine meters outward from the cave. Sylvanas walked to each of the bodies, taking the Hyougagakure Military Signet Rings from their hands, their name engraved on the back of the ring's bridge with a slice through it, as proof of their deaths. She then took what seemed to be a necklace off from under her kimono, near her breast lines, hanging from it were these rings. At least thirty of them. She undid the cloth tie at the end, slid the rings of Edame and Coramoto on to it, and proceeded to retie it and put it back on, sliding the trophy underneath her kimono once more. The noise from the attacks and screams was sure to draw the attention of Yuu long before Sylvanas had killed them.

Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas)   Sky and Water Clash [Private] (Sylvanas) EmptySat Jul 26, 2014 8:24 pm

A sudden mist appeared in the sky whilst Yuu was travelling. The formation, the compounds; the very establishment of this fog was identical to that of Yuu's Hidden Mist technique. It was strange how it appeared so suddenly, and how the mist barely revealed a sense of chakra nearby. Yuu attempted to look down at the profile in his hands, the profile of Sylvanas, though the profile did not entail specifics depicting Sylvanas' jutsu- not at all. A light grin appeared on Yuu's face when he noticed this. It seemed the information in this profile was just as hidden as the mist above; there was no logic aside from the fact that mist had simply appeared from nowhere; a usual sign of jutsu. Yuu examined the sky. "The wind seems purified by the mist." Yuu thought to himself. As a member of the Will of the Wind, Yuu had thoroughly studied the wind as if his life depended on it, hence his specialization in Fuuton, itself. It was a fascinating subject to study, as the wind above was very complex, though with an additional study- the study of the Sky God- Yuu had the wind memorized as if he were its superior.

The wind derived from the West Tundras. This became clearly as the snow below trailed backwards- slightly to the left, in fact. This was the first time that even the snow became a voice in Yuu's mind. The snow told him that there was somebody present amongst the West Tundras, someone that single-handedly adjusted the movement of both the wind and the snow. Yuu was fascinated, though the wind was abused. Yuu headed towards the West Tundras, himself, only to find that the surface became more damp. This obviously meant that water had embedded itself in nature so suddenly, as well. Yet another sign of chakra was revealed as the water flooded the West Tundras, and chakra became one with the surface. What used to be snow seemingly became a material for a new path, but for what? Yuu watched as shortly after the water ran through the snow softly, crimson red stained what was once left white upon the surface. The West Tundras had officially become colourful. Yuu investigated the scene from afar, and saw lifeless corpses rest uncomfortably- an exhibit of death, if you will. Yuu's approach was rather slow, and his recent views upon the ground were so elaborate, that his time became wasteful when Yuu once stared mindlessly into the manipulated ground below. First there was snow, then wind, then a mist that commenced a class of death. Those taught lost their livelihood, whilst the professor remained lively. The professor was discovered later on as her visage matched what was listed upon the profile.

"Ryuunosuke Yuu." Yuu greeted an hour later, when the mist had cleared, and the sound of violence had long-vanished. Yuu stood one-hundred meters to the east of the woman, his image revealed between dead trees. It seemed the entire atmosphere in these tundras resembled survival of the fittest. Already, a whole squad of culprits had been annihilated; Yuu the lucky one to avoid it all. However, here he was, his first encounter with this lady, who was most likely responsible for the bloodshed nearby. "I see the civilians do not lie about these tundras." Yuu added, "Thankfully, we have people like you who fight, right?" Yuu wished to see if combat was a habit of the female that stood not-so-far. He threw the two profiles in the air, and utilized his chakra to have the wind smoothly motion the booklets towards his fellow shinobi. "I am the rumoured Sky God, though I am simply a Genin. It is nice to meet you." Yuu concluded his speech with a warm smile.

It was then, however, that yet another assortment of criminals had appeared. Fire engulfed the lifeless corpses below as they burnt to crisps, nothing able to support their wounded bodies which, of course, could no longer support themselves. It was overkill; the fact that criminals chose to cease the existence of those already deceased- no- dead, at this point. To be deceased was to have even the slightest blessing of resting peacefully, whereas to be dead was to suffer hell- hellfire, in this case. Yuu clinched his teeth at the fact that even he was rivalled, where he stood. The wind encircled him as a guard was definitely needed to successfully challenge the ones ahead. Yuu was forced to remove his cloak as it seemed it was an interference to the build of his own chakra; the channeling through the rough fabric. At this point, Yuu was cold, though this did not mean he was at any more of a disadvantage than he was during this time. "Art of the Sky God: Boreas" Yuu muttered, the thought registered in his mind as the wind became his treat. The wind became black, whilst a legendary art was revealed. This black wind reformed itself into a whirlwind, which rested around Yuu's hand in a smaller form until launched. When thrown, the whirlwind expanded around six of the dozen enemies, and cut through them mercilessly. Kunai was attempted to be thrown by the opposition, in the process, though the whirlwind only absorbed them into its own contents. "Resistance is futile." Yuu remarked once the whirlwind banished, and generally left the shinobi lifeless upon the ground. The remaining six emerged from their cowardly positions and attempted to form an almighty collaboration of fire. Yuu, however, had a back-up plan.

An even heavier source of Fuuton chakra gathered in Yuu's mouth while the criminals attempted to obliterate him with fire. "ART OF THE SKY GOD: BELLOW!" Yuu cried as the black wind immediately reformed into massive streams of wind, then expelled themselves into a swift burst of Fuuton energy, the humongous roar of wind easily penetrated the fire, and sent the opposition airborne. Severe cuts sliced through the enemies whilst they dropped helplessly onto the ground, ceased of their existence. To conclude this brief moment, it was no longer Sylvanas alone who acclaimed a victory, but rather Yuu, as well.
