The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

The moon hang lazily in the air, casting a dull light over the village. Shadow stretched in the absence of, blocked from the various structures around the village. A cool breeze drifted through the streets, as the night dwellers made their way out on to the streets, ready to partake in works of darkness... or at least go out and get drunk or laid or other such activity.
In the midst of this all, a young girl walked the street alone, clinging to book with her hands. Inside the cover an address was written down, but yet again no one was there. She sighed softly, thinking to herself, "She said she'd be there... and I could come over any time. Why hasn't she been there? It's been too long to just be a mission now..."
A smirk crossed the girl's face, and a cool voice like that of the wind whispered out loud. "Ha, guess she up and left you kid. Can't blame her really. Who'd want to be followed around by a clingy brat like you all day? 'Oh Yuri-chan! Be my friend! I love you Yuri-chan!'" She let out a snort. "Should have banged her while we had the chance, would have made it all worthwhile. At least now I don't have to worry about training and all that crap you were determined to do. We should head home and make use of the book you're clinging to."
The voice inside her head cried out. "She wouldn't just leave us like that! She couldn't. Not after everything we've said and been through. How can you say such things?" The grip on the book seemed to tighten. "And how dare you speak in such dirty ways about Yuri-chan's book! It's a special gift, and we won't abuse it!"
The girl shrugged, scanning the late night stalls for a snack. "Sure she could have just left. I mean you only spent that one day together. I mean really, how can you claim so much happened in those few short hours. Stupid kid." She rolled her eyes, and made her way towards her favourite bagel stand.
The people around were somewhat used to the child who wandered around speaking to herself. Everyone just seemed to let her be, cause if they tried to do anything they got a fistful. The man at the stand started to cower as he spotted the girl approaching, scrambling to prepare her order before she got there, hoping she wouldn't stick around and ruin his business yet again.
She let out a yawn, flicking a coin to the man as she picked up her bagel. "Good boy, for your good work I won't hurt you tonight." She smirked at the man, and walked off eating. As she walked she started to muse out loud. "Perhaps this Yuri went off on a mission, and didn't come back. She's probably laying six feet under somewhere by now... if she's lucky. Oh! oh! Maybe she's captive, and they're doing all sorts of cruel things to her. Oh yes. I'd want in on that."
She looked down at the book, grinning at it. "You see, that's the kind of thing that woman is into kid. Maybe she joined it willfully. All I'm saying is wee should use the book, and fulfill Yuri's last wishes for us."
A soft sobbing sound echoed through the girls mind, and if one were to look closely they may see a tear forming in her eye. Not that anyone looked to closely in fear of the child these days. She continued to walk down the street nibbling on her treat, looking out for some interesting nightlife to occupy her. Word Count: 623

The night air was indeed refreshing and Mujin could not help but sleep in the day and wander the night, as of tonight he simply felt like looking at the moon and coupled with that he had a hunger and was currently on the roof of the building he had acquired his snack. He would give a huff and take another bite of his bagel today the air was chill and relaxing and as he took the last bite of his bagel he would turn his body and hang on the edge of the building too see a girl coming toward the building talking too herself. Weirdo, Hmph Mujin would say under his breathe before looking about with one eye open he ran his hand through his somewhat long white hair. Next he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. Seconds later he fished out his lighter and with a flick of his thumb the night's darkness was dispelled as he took a drag of the pale stick. And like that the light was gone and the darkness crept back in. The small light came from the end of the newly lit cigarette. After looking at the girl and noticing a tear fall from her face he grunted and jumped up looking around as he took another hit off his cigarette and jumped off the roof of the building landing with a light thud. He wore a simple black windbreaker and blue jeans. His shirt was a dark blue, but it was hard to tell with the overcast night, he would move toward the girl slowly noticing the book in her hands and the obviousness that she was talking too herself and was either crying because she was deranged or lost.
About 12 feet from the girl Mujin would stop moving his hair from in front of his face as he eye'd the girl and took another drag from his cigarette expelling it through his nose. Why are you standing in the dark crying you should be ashamed of yourself Mujin would let his words linger taking another drag he would look over her too read her expression she possibly could take offense too what he said but whatever she looked like a dumb ass simply crying, at the age she looked like she was no doubt she was already a ninja at genin rank and in turn a adult what kinda adult cry's with a bagel in there hands Mujin would simply shake his head at the thought then give a slight laugh taking another hit of his smoke. I heard what you were saying from up there and you should not depend on others so much crying that they are not around when you need them, you only need one person yourself. You control your own fate.
