Personality: Hajiru is a very quiet individual who wishes to help those around him. It is deemed his job to seek out those who require aid and help them, whether they are living people or the spirits of the world around him. His own needs are of secondary importance, shoved beneath everything else in life. He is lacking in self-confidence as a fighter, and as such, has given up all thoughts of being a physical combatant and even, to some degree, a user of offensive ninjutsu. Due to past events, he has even become somewhat of a frightened person in certain situations, lending further credence to his inability of being a fighter.

Likes: There is a great deal that Hajiru would like, not having it in him to be a crude or mean person. He mostly enjoys helping people, giving them the aide they need in whatever situation, whether it is medical care or anything else. Despite this, he also likes to be in solitude, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Reading, both fiction and non-fiction books, is a great interest to him, as he loves to follow an adventure, or learn more about his other interests. In tune, a great deal, with his bloodline ability, he has come to view the spirits as individuals much like humans. He enjoys communing with them, and as he does with other people, aiding them in whatever needs they have.

Dislikes: Liking his quiet and solitude, his obvious dislikes are things that are opposed to that. While he does not outright dislike crowds of people, he does dislike certain things that are typically a byproduct of those crowds. These things include, but are not limited to, arguments, overly loud noises or people, pain endured by himself or others, suffering endured by himself or others, and general examples of disorder and chaos.

Motivation: His prime motive in life, is to help those he can. Again, whether this refers to medical care or any other kind of support, he wishes to ensure that others do not have to suffer when it can be avoided. He is not a very physical or violent person, however, so his motivation will only extend to the most docile forms of defense and then resultant support and care after whatever event caused such suffering.

Fears: Due to his personality, many would think he were an overly gentle thing which would be frightened by the slightest of things. While he is gentle, he is not so afraid that he would shy from insects or things as mundane as that. While there are various things that would cause him to maintain his distance, true and precise response to what his fears are, would be anything relating to his father and paternal grand-mother.

Bloodline Ability: Communing with the divine and malevolent spirits, the user can earn the aide of spirits across the world in order to enhance their abilities, gain access to other focuses for their chakra, establish a peace in the world and cancel out harmful effects.

Clan History: Throughout the world, in the early days, strange phenomena have been referred to in the people's lack of understanding of what they were. Some of these events can clearly be explained now, but there is still the existence of these strange phenomena, and though they may be dismissed by some as superstitions, there is still the presence of spirits crying out for aide from the living. It is the mediator's job to listen to these pleas, and do what they can to aide forlorn spirits reach their proper place. (This is not limited to spirits of the living not having passed onto the afterlife yet, but also includes the spirits of all other things; spirits of life and energy, spirits of nature, spirits of animals and other living things. In all of life, there must be balance and order.) Due to these purposes, they have, at times, doubled as Sages and Jinchuuriki.

History: The Koishiiki family is a matriarchal family that deems itself outside of the laws of any Hidden Village. Through history, it has married into families all over the world, always seeking something from everyone. Mei Koishiiki married into the Hiyaga family of Hyougagakure, and from that marriage, had three children, one son, and two daughters. Mei sought to marry off her daughters to further her family's goals, acquiring all the Kekkei Genkai possibly in the family, so that one day they could rule the ninja world.

From her son, Jinshin, the Hiyaga family would continue. Not that she cared. Within her daughters, already, was the power of their bloodline. So she would push on to the next.

Jinshin was a perfect servant of his mother, however, and did whatever he could to support her. So, he would endeavor to give unto his mother granddaughters that would further aide her in the future. His first child was a boy, but like his mother, he had two daughters later, and offered them into training not just in ninjutsu, but to her own endeavors. Hajiru, Jinshin's son, was thirsty for attention, and always sought to learn from his father, but his father only cared about pleasing his mother, and so was pushed aside often, told he was pathetic and worthless, and tossed aside. Despite the efforts from his mother and sisters to entreat him with love and care, Hajiru closed himself off, becoming a very quiet and reclusive boy.

As he grew up, he did poorly in weapons and hand-to-hand training, but what he excelled at was ninjutsu. He hated being violent though and would only display his skill after being yelled at. He especially showed unique understanding of the inner workings of the human body, and was enrolled to seek further study in medical fields, which he approved of.

Due to his lack of self-assurance and lack of a commanding presence, he was passed over in numerous attempts to move on to the Chunnin rank. This has also only made his situation worse at home, as his father continued to berate him constantly for being a horrid ninja and a talent-less fool. Now, even though his father has become a rogue-nin, and rejoined his mother, Hajiru's sisters and mother have been dragged off as well, and Hajiru is forced to live on his own in Hyougagakure.

RP Sample: In the tundra beyond Hyougagakure there were still herbs to collect. Not all plants may have grown out there in the frigid temperatures, but there were some that grew better in colder temperatures, rather than warm, that could still be used in the production of medical tinctures and the like. Not everything should be approached through the use of chakra, though much could. For everything else, tinctures, salves, concoctions, and the like would need these herbs. What more, it gave Hajiru the chance to be alone, in silence, and not have to listen to the repetitious yelling and boisterous annoyances of his father and those like him.

With a small spade and a clipper, he wound his way through a pattern in the tundra seeking out those colder-climate herbs. In time, he would have to request some companions to help him go through some warmer areas for other herbs to use, but for now, the ones that grew here were what he needed. Beside, it was nice to even get away from nice companions, as silence was something he often treasured but rarely had the opportunity to enjoy.

"At least I know... you won't berate me, will you?" Hajiru asked softly to the emptiness around him. Yet, despite such, only he would be able to feel or perceive the entities around him. The spirits of snow, earth, plants, herbs, and the like, all gathered around him, and with a small smile on his face, he tilted his head to glance at his own shoulder as if he suddenly felt a warm and friendly hand resting upon it.
