The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

The forest that covers a medium section of the island. It has never once
been tampered with by human beings, left to grow and cultivate on it's
own. In recent years it has become a training field for the shinobi of
the village. Wild animals live in here as well, and to prevent them from
leaving the woods and entering the farmlands there is a
large fence surrounding the forest.
Small fields and orchards kept by the village farmers, used to provide
food and income for many of the villagers. Most are not very large, but
manage to provide enough to keep the village going especially combined
with the import and export done at the shipyards. This ares is located
right along the forest, and is protected from it by a large fence.
The village's power source. It takes electrical energy from the permanent
typhoon surrounding the village, and turns it into usable power. This
single station powers the entire village. It is lightly guarded by two men
around the clock and a barb wire covered fence. The station's top is
lost among the clouds of the storm. Touching the conductive material of
the tower is to ask for certain death and it is usually received. The
tower is guarded less to protect it, and more to protect those foolish
enough to get close to it.
A small section of the island that has been turned into the dock and
port of the village, containing many ships. These docks are also the
only place in the shinobi world that can make ships that are able to
safely pass through the typhoon which surrounds the village. The port
occupies a good section of the island as well, as it leads directly into
a small welcoming center, where visitors await a ship out, or stretch
out as they arrive. Each new arrival is thoroughly checked to make sure
no criminals manage to sneak into the village.
All the various shops and dealers needed to keep a village afloat,
ranging from bankers, blacksmiths and potters, to food merchants,
general stores, and other basic needs providers. A loud and boisterous
area, usually packed with villagers and outsiders alike, and peddlers
loudly hawking their wares.
The homes of the villagers and shinobi of the village. This is a large
area completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the market, to
allow for peace and quiet while one is at home. Filled with homes of varying sizes, the most extravagant belonging to the high ranking
shinobi. The kage himself has a rather small home, living amongst
his villagers, and not in the mansion built for him. Though mostly homes
there are a few hotels and hot springs located within as well.
The village's academy, where the youth of the village train to be its
shinobi protectors and where the weak are weeded out. Though very few
children actually fail the academy. The grounds comprise a small field,
forest, and rocky areas, with a stream running through the center, for
use in environmental training. As well as many targets, bulls eyes and
small traps, again to test the children, and prepare them for lives as
shinobi.
A large beach of white sands, a perfect place to spend spare time, and
incredible tourist attraction, bringing in people from all over the
known world. Spreading a couple miles in length it covers the entire
southern edge of the island. It is a great place for vacationing, and
brings in a lot of income for the hidden village.
