Personality: Rin is a very calm and easy going person. She hardly ever worries about anything and just takes things as they come along. She's quite outgoing and enjoys other people's company. The young girl is often very kind to those around her. Nevertheless, she knows when to tell when her generosity is being taken advantage of. Rin is a ver straightforward person, so much so that she can come off as quite harsh. She is known for being bluntly honest towards those around her.

During battle, she keeps her generally happy demeanor. She often taunts and plays with her enemy, appearing to take nothing seriously. She may even seem to have her guard lowered at all times, even though she is well aware of what goes on around her. She uses her attitude as bait for her opponent, feeding his or her overconfidence. She has a sense of tactic which is mostly used subconciously.

Because of her past, Rin has certain abandonment issues. When she developes close ties with someone, she has a hard time dealing with their situations that may separate her from that person. Death, treason, exile and even simple fights are somewhat difficult for her to handle. If she suspects that someone close to her is about to abandon her, she may suffer from a nervous breakdown.

Bloodline Name: Meikai no shugo-sha (Guardians of the Netherworld)

Bloodline Ability:

Members of this clan are half-phantom and half-human. Although this is true, it also caused their Chakra pool to be completely removed from their body and deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit of varying colour. (Explained in history) The spirit orb can only be seen only by the members of the clan or someone who has seen death happen in front of their eyes. Due to their lack of charka, the body and mind of the members of this clan, works faster and harder to grant them better traits in terms of physical and mental attributes, agility, speed, strength, endurance and et cetra by 3 times. They also have great insight and foresight over many things, have a very high level of concentration.

Genin, Chuunin:
During this level, they have to concentrate and absorb chakra from their spirit half. This makes it quite troublesome for those who want to be quick on their toes in battle. Although, they can use E~C rank jutsu’s with ease.

Sp. Jounin, Jounin, S-rank:
During this level, jutsu’s ranging from A~S rank will backfire on the caster if it involves charka but to counter this disability members of the clan are able to merge with their spirit half for only 15 posts. Thus, letting them access Jutsu’s from A~S rank. Note that if the jutsu involves absorbing charka from ones spirit half, it would require two posts for A~S rank unless stated. This can be used once per topic.

Below states the weapons that can be carried by the clan members. Note that the swords are passed down from their forefathers (Explained in history).

Virtues:
Chastity – Increases jutsu damage by two fold.
Temperance – Dispels Genjutsu every two posts.
Kindness – Heals the user passively but at a small amount.
Charity – Has the ability to sap your life in return for an increase in power
Diligence – Able to continue a battle after being landed a critical hit
Patience – Increased focus, insight, foresight and senses.
Humility – Does not feel fear or pain when used.

Vice:
Lust – Has the ability to sap life from the opponent to heal yourself.
Gluttony – Loves to drink blood, the more blood, the more power.
Envy – Has the ability to copy the shape and effects of other weapons but its strength is 80% of the original.
Greed – The more Ryo one has in hand, the more powerful the weapon
Sloth – The being of slowness can have a very slow movement but very high damage output
Wrath – Increase all stats by two times but at a cost of your sanity
Pride – Being as pride, it does not like other charka except for its owner, thus it will push aside all other charka.

Clan History:

Long ago, war broke out. Countless lives lost in the blood stained grounds, bodies rotting, souls left unrest. Scarlet flames swirl in wake, devouring anything in its path. Merciless. Unforgiving. It comes after each battle. It’s fate? To cleanse! It’s desire? To give peace to those who have passed on.

In truth the clan was just scattered bits of nomadic people. They have no intension nor relation to what happened to the outside world. They preferred to throw everything not normal to them and live in peace as they travelled from place to place, gaining knowledge on much of the geography of the world, not to mention some well hidden ancient temples, shires and hideouts. They also have wide knowledge over many rumours, myths and legends that held were around at that time.

Among every mystery, one of them stood out the most. The legend of the temple of judgement, Tamashī no handan. Although, none of the seven members founding members of the clan went there as of yet, the legend spread like a virus, unrelenting, ever putting people in a trance state of desire. Everyone thought it was salvation and eternal bliss that will be found inside but the clan founders stayed away, fearful that the corruption will get to them.

Alas, they couldn’t escape the fate that which the temple already predicted. Soon, all of the ten leaders and their families meet at the temple. The famed mystery of the temple of black and white. One side it was rotting with darkness, malice and sin, the other with pureness, clarity and virtue. Stunning it was but something or someone stood out. A certain elderly caretaker, stood to greet them. Unknowingly, their life has already been changed when they first came to know about the temple.

Time passed and each of the founding members changed, their families were told to wait for them far away, at the nearby river they all meet. Soon a ritual started, the caretaker revealed to be an immortal lady named Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, her job to get people to help her judge the living and send souls to their final resting place. She granted each of them a power they will never forget. Separate souls representing seven colours, their hairs having the colours of their respecting souls and weapons each depicting a vice and a virtue. Their gold was simple, to help people leave behind regrets and finally leave the world in peace.

Shocked by their predicament, each of them went down the path and the only way to move on was forward but slowly, each member will find themselves ever tied to this path. Unable to run away. “The truth is that peace is always within..” Shikieiki said before the seven founding members left the temple and it will forever stay the same as time goes on for eternity.



History

History:

Rin Xanadu's exact origins are unclear. She was obviously born from a mother and a father, as everyone else is. But who the were, exactly, is a mystery. As a newborn child, Rin was abandoned in the outskirts of Kusamuragakure. Left to die, the unnamed baby instinctively cried begging for her parets' attention. Nevertheless, they were nowhere in sight. Her futile attempts only attracted the unwanted attention of the large beasts that roam the jungles of the shinobi village.

Luckily enough for Rin, she was found before any harm came to her. She was adopted by the young couple who found her. Because of her ligth blue eyes and pale blond hair, the couple decided to name their new daughter "Rin" which meant cold. And for a while, the small family was happy. This, however, was short lived. Rin's new mother fell ill only a few months after the baby girl was adopted into the family. The illness was severe and ended her life quickly. Nevertheless, Rin's adoptive father decided to keep her adoptive daughter under his care, affirming that her wife wouldn't have wanted Rin to live in an orphanage. Both Rin and her father witnessed her last moments, which depressed both of them for a while.

Only a few days later, a small, orange orb began to appear around Rin and follow her wherever she went. Having witnessed his wife's death, Rin's father was able to see the orb as well. Neither of them knew what it was or what it did. Rin, of course, was too young to understand. Her father, however, was slightly troubled by the orb. Neertheless, he attempted to ignore it.

Two years passed before tragedy struck the even smaller family once again. While on a mission, Rin's father died, leaving the small child orphaned once again. Still too young, Rin harldy understood what was going on. All she knew was that her father had left, the same way her mother did and that she was going to be moved to a new home filled with children just like her. And so, the toddler moved into the orphanage.

A year later, she entered the Academy in order to become a ninja, like her adoptive parents had been before her. She was exceptional at taijutsu and weaponry, but for a reason unknown to the young girl, she barely had any chakra at all. Therefore, genjutsu and ninjutsu were difficult to master. The difference between these different subject kept her in the middle of the class. She wasn't recognized as the strongest, but she wasn't the weakest shinobi either.

Rin grew close to her first sensei at the Academy. The man took pity on her and therefore decided to take her under his wing. he was one of the few people who could actually see the orange orb of chakra that floated above her head. Like her father, he was troubled by it as well. Rin's sensei decided to investigate on the matter. After several weeks of research, he was able to find its exact meaning. He didn't hesitate to explain it to his dear student. In turn, Rin was nothing short of amazed about her true heritage. She instantly began to try and tap into the power of her kekkei genkai. Her sensei tried to help her as much as he could. Nevertheless, Rin's teacher died only a few weeks after.

The people of Kusamuragakure began to notice the way Rin's presence brought death and ruin to those who were close to her. Some of the more superstitious villagers would stay away from her, while the rest simply paid no attention to the young shinobi-in-training. Such was the case of the following couple that adopted Rin Xanadu. Now 10 years old, the blond haired girl moved into her new home. However, her parents weren't as attentive as she would've hoped. Of course, they attended to her basic needs and were often nice to her, but they seemed more like charitable strangers than parents.

Rin began to wonder why, exactly, they had adopted her. The answer was clear to her in a matter of months. Her adoptive mother was pregnant with her very own child and therefore had no need for Rin anymore. Shortly after Rin's stepbrother was born, Rin was once again placed in the orphanage. This event, along with the previous tragedies created a nickname for her among the villagers, something they would call her behind her back: Cursed Child. Alone and with no one to run to, Rin decided on making a new resolve that would drive her forward. She would find the remaining 6 members of the Xanadu Clan, the actual family that she had. Additionally, she would become one of the strongest shinobi in Kusamuragakure, so that the villagers would forget about the misfortunes she brougth upon others.

Rin watched the sky intently, simply waiting. Without noticing, she held her breath in anticipation, only letting go of it to smell the changes in her surroundings. Her ears twitched ever-so-slightly, attempting to capture every sound, every movement. All of her senses were being used to concentrate on the task at hand. She heard a sudden rustling comming from a nearby bush. There was a sudden tug on the ground underneath her feet, as if someone had pulled a rope or wire quickly. Letting her reflexes kick in, Rin lept backwards as silently as she could. The young girl landed gracefully in a patch of rough grass as she saw the hidden trap spring. A volley of kunai and shuriken shot from one of the branches, high up in one of the trees overhead, piercing the ground where she had just stood only a few seconds before. The blond haired girl smiled to herself, satisfied with her evasive manouver. Nevertheless, she knew it was not yet over.

Once again, Rin concentrated on her surroundings. She looked at the way the sun shone through the dense canopees of Kusamuragakure's many trees. The light was scarce, but enough to let her know what time, excatly, it was. Only a few minutes left, Rin thought. She stood completely still, waiting for the time to pass. The mood on her skin and lothing was getting uncomfortable, but it served its purpose well. Camouflage was a basic necesity when going through survival training, as was the case. Every once in a while, the Academy would make all of the class participate in a survival exercise taht served as a sort of examination at the end of every year. Now, it was only a matter of time before the trial was over. But that was all the more reason to stay on guard. She had already spent two whole days in the jungle. She wasn't about to let herself lose in the last few minutes.

Silence graced her ears. For a few seconds, the young girl hoped that these few minutes would stay that way. With her usual smile gracing her lips, Rin placed all of her concentration and essence into surviving these last few minutes. Her muscles were sore and every inch of her body ached. Thin slits decorated her skin, making blood mix with the mood and dirt on her body. She tried to ignore both the pain and discomfort. A low and deep noise came from in between the trees. It was the menacing and fierce growl of a whild animal. Rin snapped her head reflexively, trying to trace the source of the noise. Her instincts told her to stay still and silent, so she did. Only a short moment after, did a large tiger crawl gracefully from its hideout. It stared at her for a long moment, simply waiting. Rin studied its posture unconciously. She waited for its mucles to tense and posture to shift, indicating that the animal would attack. Seconds later, the animal did just that. In response, Rin drew her weapon and waited for the beast to attack.
