Personal v2

Personality: Link is a very quiet person. His lips never form to make a word, and his stare is exceedingly cold and emotionless. He believes in his clan's ways and has his mind set that he has but a single purpose. His purpose is to watch over the Nexus Shrine of the Gust country to ensure it's safety. His affiliation with his own village means very little to him. Link has always been a man of strategy. His clan's patience had given him strategic insight, and the speed to make himself a more than formidable opponent to anyone he meets. Since he is so cold, he has lived through life breaking many hearts due to his lack of wanting to further any relationship. He will have a child one day, but that isn't an important issue to him while he has the task to fulfill his personal purpose. He had been with a few different women at his young age, but never loved them, nor really cared for them. His human half has needs and wants. Although, he surely dislikes these wants and needs, for they conflict with his duties. With that in mind, he chooses to not partake in these needs and wants, and further his completion of his purpose.

Likes: Link enjoys the scores of simple music. It helps him relax into his meditative state to connect with his spirit half. Around his neck he wears a blue Ocarina that he will occassionaly blow a tune from. He also enjoys his silence, he finds silence to be a well needed thing upon the world, hence why he doesn't speak much.

Dislikes: Link dislikes the act of intrusion. He finds that thos who intrude half the tendancy to disrupt an innocent mind to be warped into a wrathful machine of spite. He dislikes things that do not follow their purpose. If a person were to intrude on their own purpose, then it would lead them down a path of confusion, and would turn them into something that they were not meant to be.

Motivation: Link has but one motivation. His motivation is his life purpose. He seeks the peace of the Nexus Shrine of the Xanadu for Sabakugakure, and will do whatever it is within his power to keep the shrine in it's most sacred form. He follows his purpose with great intent, and is usually found meditating close by the village to ensure the shrine's safety. He only moves from the village if he has recieved word of a devestating force that must be stopped to ensure that his purpose be sustained.

Fears: Link only fears to fail short of his purpose. Of nothing else, Link casts aside within his mask of neutral emotions the normal fears of a human being. He fears his own death, only for the fact that it would cause him to fail upon his purpose, thus leading him back to his initial fear.


Clan Information

Bloodline Name: Meikai no shugo-sha (Guardians of the Netherworld)

Bloodline Ability:
Members of this clan are half-phantom and half-human. Although this is true, it also caused their Chakra pool to be completely removed from their body and deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit of varying colour. (Explained in history) The spirit orb can only be seen only by the members of the clan or someone who has seen death happen in front of their eyes. Due to their lack of charka, the body and mind of the members of this clan, works faster and harder to grant them better traits in terms of physical and mental attributes, agility, speed, strength, endurance and et cetra by 3 times. They also have great insight and foresight over many things, have a very high level of concentration.

Genin, Chuunin:
During this level, they have to concentrate and absorb chakra from their spirit half. This makes it quite troublesome for those who want to be quick on their toes in battle. Although, they can use E~C rank jutsu’s with ease.

Sp. Jounin, Jounin, S-rank:
During this level, jutsu’s ranging from A~S rank will backfire on the caster if it involves charka but to counter this disability members of the clan are able to merge with their spirit half for only 15 posts. Thus, letting them access Jutsu’s from A~S rank. Note that if the jutsu involves absorbing charka from ones spirit half, it would require two posts for A~S rank unless stated. This can be used once per topic.

Below states the weapons that can be carried by the clan members. Note that the swords are passed down from their forefathers (Explained in history).

Virtues:
Chastity – Increases jutsu damage by two fold.
Temperance – Dispels Genjutsu every two posts.
Kindness – Heals the user passively but at a small amount.
Charity – Has the ability to sap your life in return for an increase in power
Diligence – Able to continue a battle after being landed a critical hit
Patience – Increased focus, insight, foresight and senses.
Humility – Does not feel fear or pain when used.

Vice:
Lust – Has the ability to sap life from the opponent to heal yourself.
Gluttony – Loves to drink blood, the more blood, the more power.
Envy – Has the ability to copy the shape and effects of other weapons but its strength is 80% of the original.
Greed – The more Ryo one has in hand, the more powerful the weapon
Sloth – The being of slowness can have a very slow movement but very high damage output
Wrath – Increase all stats by two times but at a cost of your sanity
Pride – Being as pride, it does not like other charka except for its owner, thus it will push aside all other charka.

(Note that each member can have a max of two weapons, one Virtue, one Vice and I’m stating the suggested effects but not the type of each weapon as I want it to be versatile for other members that want to join. Clan History:

Long ago, war broke out. Countless lives lost in the blood stained grounds, bodies rotting, souls left unrest. Scarlet flames swirl in wake, devouring anything in its path. Merciless. Unforgiving. It comes after each battle. It’s fate? To cleanse! It’s desire? To give peace to those who have passed on.

In truth the clan was just scattered bits of nomadic people. They have no intension nor relation to what happened to the outside world. They preferred to throw everything not normal to them and live in peace as they travelled from place to place, gaining knowledge on much of the geography of the world, not to mention some well hidden ancient temples, shires and hideouts. They also have wide knowledge over many rumours, myths and legends that held were around at that time.

Among every mystery, one of them stood out the most. The legend of the temple of judgement, Tamashī no handan. Although, none of the seven members founding members of the clan went there as of yet, the legend spread like a virus, unrelenting, ever putting people in a trance state of desire. Everyone thought it was salvation and eternal bliss that will be found inside but the clan founders stayed away, fearful that the corruption will get to them.

Alas, they couldn’t escape the fate that which the temple already predicted. Soon, all of the ten leaders and their families meet at the temple. The famed mystery of the temple of black and white. One side it was rotting with darkness, malice and sin, the other with pureness, clarity and virtue. Stunning it was but something or someone stood out. A certain elderly caretaker, stood to greet them. Unknowingly, their life has already been changed when they first came to know about the temple.

Time passed and each of the founding members changed, their families were told to wait for them far away, at the nearby river they all meet. Soon a ritual started, the caretaker revealed to be an immortal lady named Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, her job to get people to help her judge the living and send souls to their final resting place. She granted each of them a power they will never forget. Separate souls representing seven colours, their hairs having the colours of their respecting souls and weapons each depicting a vice and a virtue. Their gold was simple, to help people leave behind regrets and finally leave the world in peace.

Shocked by their predicament, each of them went down the path and the only way to move on was forward but slowly, each member will find themselves ever tied to this path. Unable to run away. “The truth is that peace is always within..” Shikieiki said before the seven founding members left the temple and it will forever stay the same as time goes on for eternity.


History

History: Link was born into the Xanadu from the origin. As a baby he was instilled with the task to oversee the Nexus of Xanadu in Sabakugakure, so he was sent there to be raised by an unkown villager. A woman by the name of Naruseigaua Akuma had raised him from the time he could walk. He was a silent child who gave her no problems at all. He was able to grasp very astute knowledge of what he wanted by gesturing to what he desired. As a growing toddler, he never kicked, nor screamed, nor cried. He only pointed to what he wanted, and be it why he wanted it was left a mystery. If it were a food or a drink, it was clearly obvious to what he intended, however he began pointing to sharp objects, and instruments, and his foster mother couldn't understand why. When Link was dropped of in the hands of this woman, she was also given a sword and a blue gem. She was told that when the boy is the age of 5, then he should begin training with sticks to ensure that this equipment would be adequate for him. The orb will offer him diligence and the ability to adequately communicate with her. However, this would take him til he was at least 8 to use it.

When Link hit the short age of 5, his foster mother had done exactly what the Xanadu elders had told her, and began to train him in sword play. The kid would pick up on this very quickly, and not only that, but his speed would more than match his foster mother's. He had not yet merged with his spirit half yet, but there was proof that he was following along as a Xanadu should. When he hit age 7, something weird had happened. He had a dream one night, a figure that looked just as he did had came to him. The shadow Link had informed him that he was in fact Link of the Xanadu, and that when the time would come, he would have a greater purpose than those of a human being. The shadow informed him that he will now have a vast knowledge of the past and present, and will have future warnings of what may come in the future. The shadow would then smirk and walk into Link's body, stirring the boy to jolt up in his sleep. The gem that was kept by his mother] bedside table would begin to shine now, and illuminated the room in which it sat. For the next year or two, the gem had followed him wherever he went. At the age of 9, he found out the purpose of the orb. His spirit half had infused it with his conscious thoughts so that he could communicate in an adequate way towards others, however he could not speak to groups, only individuals. He now had a sword that was almos the size of his own body, however he handled it as if it were a feather. His spirit half told him that one year would lead him to the ninja academy, where he would excell quickly.

When he turned 10, he was self enrolled into the ninja acdemy to gather information on those within the village. He was very odd in that he didn't control a single elemental jutsu, however, he was able to grasp the knowledge of the basics within the first attempt. It was as if something was guiding him along the way. The young boy had become in league with his spirit half by now, and was gathering information at a rapid rate. He had picked a weapon at this age of a long sword with a blue hilt that gave the appearance of a castle rook. Along side him was not a weapon necessarily, but a blue stone gem that floated beside his head at all times. This orb was used to control the manifestation of his voice, and is used for him to communicate more fluently with other beings in the human world. When a telepathic thought is sent from the orb to another being, it is made audible to that being only. These were his Vice and Virtue. His Vice was the blue circular gym, it gave him the ability to communucate, and added courage in battle to continue after dealt a damaging blow, his Virtue being his blade that saps the life force of his opponents, and adds it to his overall well being. He used these to highly excell within the village ninja academy at an alarming rate. He found himself jumped up to advanced classes after he showed remarkable kenjutsu technique, and nobody within the village could compare to him.

Upon leaving the academy at the age of 14, he was instantly recognized to a level of Special Jounin due to his remarkable, be that almost legendary, sword handling skills. The kage himself could not keep up with the man, and he never knew why, but the Sabakukage had granted him this position due to his sheer ability to overcome him many times in battle.

Four years had passed since he recieved his rank, and now he remains near the outskirts of the village he is forced to call home, however his spirit half had entrusted him with the knowledge of his true purpose not two years ago. He was to watch over the Nexus of Xanadu in the village of Sabakugakure, that is why he must call this place home. He is to ensure the peace and tranquility of the Nexus and to make sure that no harm ever comes to it.

Upon receiving the rank of S.jounin, his spirit half had informed him now that it was time for his greater purpose. He was to be the guardian of the Nexus shrine of Xanadu for the Gust country. It was what was decided by the elders of the Xanadu clan, and that is the reason why he was sent to this village. His ability to use a sword was not bestowed upon him by chance, as it was the luxury of the clan. He now had to complete his purpose and remain in the country unless called upon by higher ranking spirit.

RP Sample: Link would carry his master sword with him as he faced the grotesque being standing at the gates of the Nexus. The demon like monster stood over 8ft tall, and his breath smelled of tha of rotting corpses. The beast was drooling upon the feet of the young male, snot would run from his every facial oriface. He taunted the young male wih grunts and pokes at his chest.

Link gave him a warning glance to show that he did not enjoy this creature poking at him, and within a matter of seconds, he would be resheathing his Master sword back into it's sheath.

The creature had unkowingly pissed off the Xanadu who had merged with his spirit half. He stood there with one final grunt before the body parts of him started to fall off in segments of threes, first his right arm, then his left, then his body split down the middle.

Link whiped the blood spray off of his face and kicked the corpse pieces away from the shrine. He was fulfilling his purpose, one demon at a time.
