Description: This is a katana specifically made for the Xanadu named Vu. Katana specifications:

• Real ray-skin handle, dyed black, with faux leather cord wrap.

Abilities: The Vice Katana is a katana that reacts to the Sorrow/Despair within a person. The reason they say it's based on 'Sorrow/Despair' is because whenever the sword is swung, a screech is being heard, as if the sword is in despair.

The katana is able to de-materialize into a nearly invisible form, though has the ability to inflict damage. This katana is hard to see, due to people being able to see right through it, but then again is dodgeable. This form of the katana is able to, instead of inflicting damage to the opponent's physical body, able to cut the opponent's soul.

The katana's form is made possible due to the Xanadu clan being half-phantom and half-human and their unusual 'chakra' pool, which deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit.

The damage the soul gets depends on the part of the soul that's hit. Although this seems an ability that isn't able to inflict that much damage, if a sensitive soul part is hit, it could lead into something permanent. The damage the soul itself gets in general is the same as the physical body would get; depending on the place where the soul gets hit. Of course, the soul is something that has to heal on its own, so it would probably take twice or thrice the amount of time for the soul to heal up completely. The effect it has on the opponent might differ than when his/her physical body would be damaged, though cutting the soul is a powerful ability, which isn't to be taken lightly.

With every soul that Vu cuts, his age increases. Here is a list of increase in ages:

Just a cut in the soul: +3 years.
Cutting off the arm / leg part of the soul: +5 years.
Sure-to-kill area: +7 years.

Duration: 5 posts.
Cooldown: 6 posts.

Warning: Once the person has been killed with the ability with this katana, they will not be able to roleplay in the Netherworld (If there will be a Netherworld here), since they would permanently die due to their soul being obliterated.

History: There isn’t much known about this mysterious katana. The baby, Xanadu Vu, has been carrying it with him without any reason from his birth. It may be something what people call his ‘birthright’ due to him being a Xanadu. Throughout the years, he learned how to handle the sword, as well as its purpose. At first, he was shocked to find out the abilities behind the katana. But what surprised him more, is that no one even ever know about the katana. It’s like it was specifically made from here; that it materialized right when he was born and linked to his very own soul. Vu doesn’t really care about the history behind it, nor how he got it. All he knows is that it’s a powerful katana that could prove useful in very desperate situations.

As far as I'm concerned this weapon is approved though as was requested and agreed upon, Kamui will give final say and is free to act as a weapon's mod on this application

One does understand how soul cutting is and it is very powerful, I don't want or at least prefer not to see someone like Orochimaru here. If you want this to be approved by me, I would require that you create a system for the damaged soul to heal itself. Note that if you hit a sensitive area of the soul such as the heart, it'll basically destroy the soul completely and if the Netherworld comes into play, they cannot appear at that area. Please put that in mind as you create the healing system for the soul. Let me also reconfirm one thing, do you require chakra to cut the soul and also make the blade invisible?

hmm, at first I had assumed this was like chakra scalpel but it cut into the spirit to cause the same pain but no real injury to the physical form but thinking about the dozens of ways "soul cutting" is done throughout different anime and other forms of media I can see that I may have been off track by a bit. Either way you seem to get it more than me so its all up to Kam at this point.

Do you require chakra to make the blade invisible as I believe only the soul cutting ability will be free. Another ability has to be charged.

After discussing the chakra matter with Kamui, we got to the conclusion that I have to pay some extra Ryo in order to not use chakra to make the katana invisible.

The cost for invisibility would be 6000. And I'm willing to pay it.

Approved with 6000 ryo as the price for invisible blade ability. Although if any current staff member would want to put some input into the invisibility part, please do so as you wish.
