Personality: On the outside, Sokko Sankuro can appear to be very aggressive and impatient, usually to a fault. He doesn't usually get along well with others for very long because of his attitude, but he has never been close to anyone before. Because of this insular life, he has become quite arrogant and independent, believing that he doesn't need anyone else to succeed in life.

Sokko has also never shown any kind of objection concerning killing, and so has been seen as cruel and even cold and unfeeling towards his enemies. In a fight, Sokko doesn't hold back and always fights to kill the opponent.

Despite all of these qualities, Sokko has also been seen as ambitious. He claims that he will one day become the leader of Sabakugakure.

Likes: Sokko enjoys chaos and dischord, as long as the chaos and dischord is controlled towards a specific goal. He especially likes the chaos of war, because it is the best kind of controlled chaos. Sokko likes to eat animals that he hunts on his own, like lizards from the desert sands.

Dislikes: Conversely, Sokko hates peace, due to how boring it is. He particularly dislikes silence and being forced to wait, and he much prefers to keep moving instead of waiting for the right moment to strike.

Motivation: Despite all of his "bad" qualities, Sokko has also been seen as ambitious. He claims that he will one day become the leader of Sabakugakure. How he plans to do this is yet to be seen, however.

Fears: Sokko does not fear many things, but one of his greatest fears involve being at somebody else's mercy. Even debt makes Sokko particularly nervous, and so he never buys more than he can pay for.




Sankuro Clan

Bloodline Name: Sunahebi

Bloodline Ability: To enfuse chakra with surrounding sand in a diameter for an extended period of time.

Location: Sabakugakure

Clan History: The Sankuro clan was one of many different clans among the Desert Village, and one of the popular ones at that. by using their method of enfusing chakra into the sand around them, they would then manipulate the sand into amusing shapes in the air entertaining the other villagers. The elders whom had great chakra reserves and control would gather the villagers into a fire lit sand pit and use the sand to act out tales of epic battles, or stories of the villages ancestors. The clan would also use their control of sand in battle to halt an enemy or to attack an enemy whom is slightly out of reach. However, to use the sand in a battle would cause a large deal of bodily stress due to the reaction time of exerting the chakra from the users body in compliance with what the sand would do.




History:

Birth and Childhood Arc:

Sokko was born during a sandstorm, and both of his parents were from the Sankuro Clan, who took the sandstorm birth to mean something auspicious. As the young boy grew up, however, most saw that he was about average, and considered the sandstorm birth to be a fluke. However, it was revealed that a birthmark on his forehead had taken form on his skin, just above his left eye. The kanji was "love".

Ironically, soon after the kanji appeared on his skin, Sokko felt no love for anyone. It was unknown why at the time, but it was because, during the sandstorm, he had been hurt when his father had failed to catch him when he had been born. As a result, the emotional lobe of his brain was slightly damaged, making it more difficult for the child to feel many emotions, except for fear, anger, and emotional pain.

As he grew older, Sokko became reclusive as the children of Sabakugakure ignored him or attempted to bully him. Most never tried to intimidate him after the first time.

Academy Arc:

One day, Sokko had seen the Sabakukage deal with an insurgent with precision and without any hesitation. Ever since that day, Sokko had decided that he wanted to be a ninja.

A few months after deciding to become a ninja and joining the Academy, he was taught some of his Sankuro techniques from his parents, in order to get him through the Academy more quickly. He also occasionally left the village itself for long periods of time to train by himself in the desert, and would only come back when he ran out of water or was nearly dead from heat stroke. Although Sokko worked hard, it still took him a bit longer to graduate than most other ninja his age.

Genin Arc:

After he graduated from the Academy, Sokko again caught sight of the Sabakukage. Although he was nervous, Sokko had followed the kage around the village for a while before losing the older man among the streets of the village. Ever since then, Sokko has decided that he will be the kage's student, no matter what it takes. After finally graduating from the Academy of Sabakugakure, Sokko met Ka Takai, and offered to become his teammate, not because Sokko felt that he needed one, but simply to use Ka in order to further his own goals. When Ka refused at first, Sokko tries his best to intimidate and threaten the other ninja into submission using his control of the sand. Although Ka Takai was not intimidated, he did finally agree to being Sokko's teammate due to Sokko's demonstration of skill using sand ninjutsu from the Sankuro Clan. And so Sokko was on his way to becoming the Sabakukage.

RP Sample: Kashaku stops suddenly in front of Stein, the same breeze that revealed the ninja's stitches also revealing the black clothing Kashaku wore underneath his black coat and some of the medium-length hair blowing out of his face to reveal a determined and slightly angered face. "My father was killed by a man he was interrogating. My mother killed herself because my father died. They were both weak..." He thinks for a moment, his own mind one of analysis because of his father's early teachings. Raising his hands inside his coat, he left the sleeves as they were when the wind dies down, allowing the sleeves to hang as if the arms were still inside. "I do not know if I can trust that you are who you say you are... But if you are, then I suppose I have no reason to deny you seeing the kage. And even if you are not who you say you are... Well, the kage is not kage for no reason at all." With that said, Kashaku continues walking to the kage's office, his hands held in the handseal as he readies his chakra for a genjutsu, just in case he needs to get away. "I know better than to trust anyone... Especially someone who looks like they can speak their mind."
