The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: A mentally unstable loose canon that thrives in the heat of battle. Tappaja was born in the borders of the land of ocean but he was not however born into the shinobi society. Rather, his home is known as the whirl islands about thirty miles west of Shippugakure which contains several small commoner villages of hard working people like farmers and merchants. This upbringing resulted in a difference in opinion on most things between this man and most other shinobi, where most have been taught that emotion is a powerful tool and should be used to fuel one’s passion he grew learning that being emotional all the time or even just for a moment is a waste and will get him nowhere so he ignores most situations and is unable to read the mood of locations with the exception of if it is hostile or not which is an affinity of his.
Likes:
- Sake - Women - Fighting
Dislikes:
- Trash Talkers - People obsessed with honor {no problem with honor but the frequent mention and showing of it is annoying to him} - Having to be peaceful for long periods of time
Motivation: To fulfill his duties as a member of his clan and die in an epic battle in old age as a known fighter
Fears: Death outside of battle
Clan Information
Clan name Xanadu
Bloodline Name: Meikai no shugo-sha (Guardians of the Netherworld)
Bloodline Ability: Members of this clan are half-phantom and half-human. Although this is true, it also caused their Chakra pool to be completely removed from their body and deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit of varying colour. (Explained in history) The spirit orb can only be seen only by the members of the clan or someone who has seen death happen in front of their eyes. Due to their lack of charka, the body and mind of the members of this clan, works faster and harder to grant them better traits in terms of physical and mental attributes, agility, speed, strength, endurance and et cetra by 3 times. They also have great insight and foresight over many things, have a very high level of concentration.
Genin, Chuunin: During this level, they have to concentrate and absorb chakra from their spirit half. This makes it quite troublesome for those who want to be quick on their toes in battle. Although, they can use E~C rank jutsu’s with ease.
Sp. Jounin, Jounin, S-rank: During this level, jutsu’s ranging from A~S rank will backfire on the caster if it involves charka but to counter this disability members of the clan are able to merge with their spirit half for only 15 posts. Thus, letting them access Jutsu’s from A~S rank. Note that if the jutsu involves absorbing charka from ones spirit half, it would require two posts for A~S rank unless stated. This can be used once per topic.
Below states the weapons that can be carried by the clan members. Note that the swords are passed down from their forefathers (Explained in history).
Virtues: Chastity – Increases jutsu damage by two fold. Temperance – Dispels Genjutsu every two posts. Kindness – Heals the user passively but at a small amount. Charity – Has the ability to sap your life in return for an increase in power Diligence – Able to continue a battle after being landed a critical hit Patience – Increased focus, insight, foresight and senses. Humility – Does not feel fear or pain when used.
Vice: Lust – Has the ability to sap life from the opponent to heal yourself. Gluttony – Loves to drink blood, the more blood, the more power. Envy – Has the ability to copy the shape and effects of other weapons but its strength is 80% of the original. Greed – The more Ryo one has in hand, the more powerful the weapon Sloth – The being of slowness can have a very slow movement but very high damage output Wrath – Increase all stats by two times but at a cost of your sanity Pride – Being as pride, it does not like other charka except for its owner, thus it will push aside all other charka.
Colour to discern the seven members: Red Orange Yellow Green Cyan Blue Purple/Indigo Pink/Violet
(Note that each member can have a max of two weapons, one Virtue, one Vice and I’m stating the suggested effects but not the type of each weapon as I want it to be versatile for other members that want to join. Please take a look at the last post after approval as I’ll state who takes which Vice, Virtue and Colour.)
Location: Scattered
Clan History: Long ago, war broke out. Countless lives lost in the blood stained grounds, bodies rotting, souls left unrest. Scarlet flames swirl in wake, devouring anything in its path. Merciless. Unforgiving. It comes after each battle. It’s fate? To cleanse! It’s desire? To give peace to those who have passed on.
In truth the clan was just scattered bits of nomadic people. They have no intension nor relation to what happened to the outside world. They preferred to throw everything not normal to them and live in peace as they travelled from place to place, gaining knowledge on much of the geography of the world, not to mention some well hidden ancient temples, shires and hideouts. They also have wide knowledge over many rumours, myths and legends that held were around at that time.
Among every mystery, one of them stood out the most. The legend of the temple of judgement, Tamashī no handan. Although, none of the seven members founding members of the clan went there as of yet, the legend spread like a virus, unrelenting, ever putting people in a trance state of desire. Everyone thought it was salvation and eternal bliss that will be found inside but the clan founders stayed away, fearful that the corruption will get to them.
Alas, they couldn’t escape the fate that which the temple already predicted. Soon, all of the ten leaders and their families meet at the temple. The famed mystery of the temple of black and white. One side it was rotting with darkness, malice and sin, the other with pureness, clarity and virtue. Stunning it was but something or someone stood out. A certain elderly caretaker, stood to greet them. Unknowingly, their life has already been changed when they first came to know about the temple.
Time passed and each of the founding members changed, their families were told to wait for them far away, at the nearby river they all meet. Soon a ritual started, the caretaker revealed to be an immortal lady named Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, her job to get people to help her judge the living and send souls to their final resting place. She granted each of them a power they will never forget. Separate souls representing seven colours, their hairs having the colours of their respecting souls and weapons each depicting a vice and a virtue. Their gold was simple, to help people leave behind regrets and finally leave the world in peace.
Shocked by their predicament, each of them went down the path and the only way to move on was forward but slowly, each member will find themselves ever tied to this path. Unable to run away. “The truth is that peace is always within..” Shikieiki said before the seven founding members left the temple and it will forever stay the same as time goes on for eternity.
History
History: Born into a small family that was once a known clan within the nomads known as the Xanadu Tappaja was a fresh babe the first time he held a blade. The whirl islands were a country within a country almost as they were populated by numerous commoner villages and each had it’s own criminal underground that competed with gangs from near by towns for land, money and women. Tappaja did not approve of this at all but lived with it for many years while avoiding the almost draft like membership of these yakuza gangs until he was a ripe twelve by working in his family’s fields and harvesting the wheat. However after his father passed on he was no longer protected and left in order to save his mother and two sisters from their prostitution ring. Before leaving he took the two swords that his father had once carried on his person and hid them buried in the middle of the fields so that no one could find and steal them while he was away.
He spent six years in the organization and grew into a powerhouse of a gangster and a local legend as a savage killer that would only spare women and children, choosing to even simply subdue and bring back female and adolescent assassins he was asked to take out. A warrior of the bushido ways, he hated every second he was in this gang and eventually grew a strong distaste for the overly showings of values that elderly would do in his direction as he walked by in a sad attempt to make him break away from the only thing keeping his family safe. He would however not stand for when a member of the gang grew drunk out in his family’s fields and stumbled into his home. He was away on a job at the time so he was unable to stop the rape and murder of his mother, he was told his sister’s were raped but instead of killing them they were sold into a foreign nation as slaves for whatever their masters desired.
This angered him and he felt the need to no longer stay with this group so he retrieved his father’s blades and murdered his former boss in a duel before leaving a warning for all the gangsters that went into hiding after watching who they thought was the greatest warrior around be slaughtered. The note read as a poem that detailed a sense of doom to all those who it was meant for.
"I will kill you. I will burn your fields, steal your treasure, destroy your house, and enslave your children. I will murder your spouse, poison your pets, and blasphemy on the graves of your ancestors. I will do all this, and the only way to avoid it is if we cannot find you.
I’ve already found you."
After he left this warning he spent the next three moths hunting down and living up to his threat for nearly half of the gang’s massive members list. After he was satisfied that no more would be on his home island he traveled to Shippugakure in order to receive proper training as a shinobi so that he may fulfill the rest of the deed he promised all of his former yakuza brothers in a swift manner of grace and gore.
RP Sample: Takeshi was a bit pissed off this hot summer's day, the heat was affecting his judgment and he was ready to do anything to break his massive streak of boredom that had plagued his life in the passing days. Raising a finger for use as a landing pad as small insects came from the sky and started to give off a series of antenna signals and smells that gave the young genin an interesting bit of information. It seemed that one of his fellow Sunagakure genin had become entangled in some kind of combat and his opponents might prove to be a bit much for him to handle on his own but the biggest shock came when he was given his comrade's name. "Chinou? But that idiot is never outmatched by other genin, perhaps this means that there is larger prey to feast on." With his tiny guide taking to the air once more Takeshi was lead through the maze of sand castle like structures that were sporadically used as housing in the land of wind until he came to a road with many people peering out of their windows to be onlookers toward the brawl that was taking place in the streets. The young shinobi took in the field and noticed several things; firstly that there was indeed bigger prey and it appeared to be a Kirigakure swordsman. Not only a swordsman but the holder of the infamous Samehada and he had already taken on the form of a shark. Takeshi was enjoying the way this fight was looking when he noticed the genin laying down and the larger and more interesting foreign nin near him. With a motion of his hand the pours between his fingers opened wider and a medium sized fleet of Kikaichuu scattered out onto the roof in even rows so that Takeshi could give them their first orders for this conflict. A quick series of hand seals were quickly thrown and Takeshi grinned as a mirror of himself was staring back into his eyes. A nod of the head was all that was needed and the two both went into separate alley ways for a closer look at the battle.
The shinobi noticed his Inuzuka comrade in a bit of a mess but he also knew that even if it was needed, helping a member of the Inuzuka clan directly in a fight would result in a quick swipe of claws across the face. So instead Takeshi allowed Chinou to help himself in his own way while he enjoyed his red thirst.
With a casual mood in his steps Takeshi walked out into the middle of the road with his hands tucked into his pockets. Turning to the shark fiend he attempted to exchange a few words as politely as he could manage. "Hello there fish man, I was unaware of any foreigners coming to Suna this fine day so might I inquire your purpose in my home? Also if you don't mind could you tell me how you are breathing oxygen with your gills rather than the combination of hydrogen and oxygen atoms that we all just call water?" With a small sense of satisfaction in his words Takeshi waited to see if his string of subtle insults would cause the brute to come at him while he still kept a close eye on the interesting man he had noticed with the passed out boy.
