Mission: Walk That Pooch! = Link
Word Count: 865/600Lee stood in the middle of the village, seemingly entertained simply by looking off in the distance. His mind was his own as he thought about a great number of things, one of those things were what laid on the other side of the wall. How the enemies of the Hyougagakure tried to breach its walls with so much effort but to no avail. He felt as though it was an injustice to simply let them be, he felt that a rebuttal was the only course of action but then again, it wasn't his place.
"H-hello?" Lee was broken from his trance by the words of the a female and his head turned to meet her. A kind and soft spoken blonde woman of about twenty years old stood before him with a paper in one hand and a leash in the other. "Are you Lee, Lee Ketsueki?" "
I am." She let out a sigh of relief as he acknowledged who he was and she held out the leash in which he took "Thank you for taking care of Lulukins, I'm sorry but i really have to go, please make sure she gets a nice run in today, please and thank you." and before he could reply, she had turned and went off, checking the time repeatedly as she went.
"
Well, this shouldn't be to hard." He then looked down at the dog and there was pause. It was normal in every way, it was quite fluffy in appearance, a chocolate brown color that seemed to turn red in the sunlight. It was a Pomeranian type of dog....with three-heads. It was normal in almost every way, even in size and seemed happy to be outside. "
Well, aren't you just the odd one out. C'mon girl, lets get you walking."
As if on cue, the dog gave an excited amount of barks and began to run forward, Lee's grip not faltering and the dog coming to a quick halt, it continuously pulled forward but Lee gave no headway to the canine "
Lu...Lukins, you need to learn to behave..." He was then reminded of the conditions of the mission and that harm could not befall the dog and to that degree, punishment was forbidden. It was these small missions that seemed to show the greatest difficulty. Fighting could not be used, nor stealth or vast knowledge of jutsu. It was then that an idea had began to form in his head in which he surely would act upon once he had decided that it could be a better choice in all.
He leaned forward and placed the leash onto the ground and placed a foot onto it and held his hands together in the form of the tiger "
Water style, water clone jutsu." Six figures began to form around him and soon, from their liquid states, formed six Lee's, seven with himself included. To this degree, the clones walked out and slowly started to spread apart from one another till Lee found that they were far off enough but close enough to keep a handle on the situation. Lee then looked around, as did the clones till one spotted just what it was that he wanted and threw the object through the air, the dog immediately snapping its heads on the object as it was now resting in the man's hand.
A stick. The simple object sent the dog running back at Lee and jumping up his leg, aiming to get the newly found toy. "
Oh, I'm the good guy now. That's convenient." He then held the stick up and moved his foot from the leash and began to wave the stick over the dog's head, just out of reach and would yank it up as it jumped for it, missing several times. "
You want the stick? You want the stick? Go get the it!" And with that, Lee drew his arm back and then let it fly and the dog wasted no time in hurrying off, like a bullet after it. One of the clones ran and retrieved the stick and tossed it in the direction of another.
This play time continued on for what seemed like hours, sometimes the stick would be thrown short and a small wrestling match would ensue, usually between Lee himself and the hound but it was all for the sake of fun. During one of these little matches, the woman stood just above Lee, looking down on him "Having fun?" Lee turned his attention to the dog and then to the woman as he pulled himself up, leash in hand as he held it out to her "
Of sorts, yes." She knelt down and began to pet her puppy "Thank you so much mister Ketsueki. I've never seen her this tired before, she'll sleep good tonight. I'll make sure to put in a good word for you." "
Thank you. I have to go, enjoy the rest of your day." And with a bow, he turned and began to leave, several puddles of water scattered throughout the grounds slowly rippling in the light.
