Mission: Catch That Cat! = Link

A tall man walked from one spot to the other, no real objective in his pacing besides the obvious wast of time he was aiming to do. Another mission awaited him and he was now awaiting the arrival of a woman by the name of Kimi or more correctly, a girl and a royal one at that. After more than a few minutes, the appearance of such a girl appeared, her clothes gave away that she was indeed the one he was waiting for, that a the guard that escorted her. The girl that he assumed to be Mimi stood in front of him and looked up at the man as he looked down at her

"Are you the Ketsueki that will find my cat?" Lee stared with his slit-like eyes at her straight forwardness "I am." A smile slowly crept its way onto her face and soon, she beamed "Oh thank the heavens! My dear oh-so-sweet mister snugglywugglycuddlypoofy-kins has been lost for the better part of a day and no one has come forward in the search! I believe you to be the champion to do this mister Ketsueki!" Lee nodded his head and was about to turn to leave when the little girl caught his arm to halt him from leaving "You have to bring mister snuggly-wuggly-cuddly-poofy-kins back unharmed and without delay. I insist that you make haste and protect him with your life if it comes to it."

Lee was a little taken back by the words, all for some cat and wondered if she really had the authority to actually do anything if he didn't follow these rules. "I will do my best lady Mimi." He was then released from her grip and he went out into the village to find the lost animal.

He had come across several people that spoke of a cat that fit the description he gave but the animal did not stay put in one place for very long. This was until he came across a fish shop that held many felines around it, some hiding in fear of being shooed off and other blatantly begging for scraps from the salesperson and admits these cats was the one he was looking for, easily found by the collar and the clean appearance it had over the others, this was snugglywugglycuddlypoofykins. Lee wasted no time in his actions, instantly rushing toward the cats without a moments notice. He thought to have had the furry creature in his grasp when he reached for it but as if on cue, the little monster leaped away, running straight into the shop and Lee had grabbed another cat and stared at it in a dull manner...not that one could tell with his eyes as they were but it was there as he released the cat behind him and shooed it away.

He made his way into the shop and looked around, the shopkeep was about to speak but he held his hand up to silence him and continued to look around the store. He would have to get it out before he had a chance of catching it or causing any damage which brought forth a great idea. He moved his hands together and in a quick motion, formed the hand signs ram, snake and then the tiger and suddenly, ten versions of himself appeared out of thin air, each one moving in a different direction around the store whilst Lee stood at the entrance. It wasn't long till the car saw one of the clones heading toward it that it ran, the scurrying caught Lee's attention and the shadow clones ran for it, chasing the cat around the store and right at Lee. He felt he was going to get it....until a shopper ran into his back whilst talking to a friend which, in turn, caused Lee to stumble forward, his hands just missing the cat's tail as it ran right between his legs "Mister Snuggly!"

He watched as it ran off and each of the shadow clones disappeared, one after the other as Lee made a mad dash out the door, shifting his way around the people that had caused him to loose his mark that he would now have to chase again. This time though, things would be a bit easier for him. As, during the chase, the cat had found it a great idea to rush up a tree, thinking itself safe from its would-be capture. Lee stood at the bottom of the tree with his hands at his side and his attention drawn upwards. "C'mon mister Snuggly wuggly...something, something kins, time to g-" he paused as his head shifted to the side and looked at the ground at the reason. An acorn lay on the ground, rocking to a solid stop and his attention going back to the cat only to move out of the way of another acorn, then another and another after that. "You have got to be the smartest cat I've ever seen..."

This didn't last too long as the branch that held the cat didn't have a supple amount of ammo for the cat to use and after it was done, the fact dawned on it a little too late...it was stuck. The meowing then began to start and Lee gave a flat stare at the now helpless cat. He knew that getting the cat down could prove harmful to him and possibly the cat but with a sigh, he placed his hands together in the form of the tiger "Water release, water clone jutsu." A puddle began to form beside him and rose from the ground till a version of himself was formed.

Lee looked up and so did the clone and then, it began to climb. It's hand would turn to water on occasion to stretch for a close branch and when it finally got to the branch that held the cat, it had solidified once more. "Come here little kitty. You have no other way down that'll not take one of those lives of yours." The cat continued to look down and at the clone after it made a move, with a quick grab, the clone snatched the cat up from its belly and held it close, the cat beginning to scratch. The clone slowly started to make its way down and a couple feet from the ground, the cat leaped from the clone arms as it shifted back to its water-like state and onto the ground without harm. It then aimed to make another dash for freedom but stopped.

A group of clones stood around the cat, cutting its escape route off as it frantically looked for another. This was too late however as Lee scooped the cat up in his arms and the shadow clones faded, leaving him alone "Now was that so hard?" He continued to pet the cat behind the ears and under its collar as he made his way back to the spot where he had left the girl. As he arrived, the girl was licking an Popsicle-stick and glanced at Lee's return, doubling back when she saw the cat "Mister Snugglywugglycuddlypoofykins!" She discarded the treat quickly and ran to Lee's side in which he slowly and carefully handed her the cat "Safe and sound, as promised." The girl quickly wrapped her arms around the cat and bowed several times to him "Thank you mister Ketsueki, I will make sure that my parents reward you kindly for this noble deed!"

She turned around and walked back to her group of guards, Lee placing his hands behind his back. It wasn't the cleanest mission but it wasn't the worst either, he counted his blessings for that much.
