First Name: Karei
Last Name: Momochi
Alias: The Girl in the Mist, Sylvia Magnus (Presumed Name)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 122 Lbs.
Birthday: June 12th
Sexuality: Straight, Bicurious
Relationships: N/A
Affiliation: Hyougagakure
Rank: Special Jounin
Element: Water, Lightning
Specialization: Ninjutsu, Puppetry
Personality: Childhood Personality (Before Disappearance): Karei is usually very polite and normally uses manners in most situation, often labeling people as their rank and name, instead of nametags like -san, and -kun. She actually considers nicknames of the like to be disrespectful to an individual of shinobi status and kind of looks down on anyone who uses them. She shows good intent to others, and loves to help people when she isn't training with others or focusing on her own chakra levels.
Karei has always had a pretty pessimistic view on the life of other people, as she was only and always taught to care only for the life of he who matters - which in her case, is Karei. As a person who lives without a penny to spend on a daily basis, she is a living and standing testament whom has experienced war and battle on a heightened scale during the Momochi Civil Wars, and lost many people close to her. Her family, being as though they grew up with the same teachings as Karei had, weren't much of a help to begin with, being as though she would have to kill them if the time came as well.
Fueling negative emotions, despite her alignment waning toward the lawful, honest and true side, Karei does possess a cold, hardened persona which strikes fear even in her classmates as well as some of the members of the Momochi clan whom have heard whisper brush against wind unto their ears. Karei does believe that with hard work, anything is possible. Nothing more and definitely nothing less. Once she starts training, she will keep going until she is literally incapable of walking or lifting her arms. This is usually the way she spends days to weeks during the period of passing months. But, again, the teachings endured within the Momochi was nothing but supportive in this brutal notion.
Karei follows and adheres to an extremely strict code of honor which she has laid out and followed for herself her entire life thus far. She truly believes that fighting is never really the way to solve problems, thus if an agreement is reached by peace, compromise follows in its wake, and maybe in the future, violence may step further as well. Karei hates depending on an outside force of knowledge to tell her if she has succeeded or not, though she promptly accepts and understands constructive criticism. However, during everyday life when an enemy engages her, Karei always says a single phrase.
"I will give you one chance to walk away and redeem your dignity. If you deny my plea, it will be a fight to the death; and I don't plan on dying today." Being a part of her code of honor, she will never fight without the opponent knowing her intentions to at least walk away and forget that they had ever spoken. However, once the battle has started, Karei's true tactics kick in. Being what seems to be a master and possessing a passive genius intellect, she quickly learns how to adapt and overcome to situations; to the point where she doesn't even have to see her opponents to defeat them. Being a Momochi, she has sensitive ear drums which enable her to hear even the drop of a pin.
Sound alone is enough for Karei to target, pinpoint and eradicate any who stand in her way. Often noted as a signature move, Karei is often referenced as the Girl in the Mist, mostly due to her constant use of the Hidden Mist Technique. Due to her divided attention and crucial hard-working ethics, Karei has mastered silent killing already, and has no bars held when boasting this skill in open combat. Many people within the Momochi even note her as a brutal force of tactical might, often saying "Once you go into the Hidden Mist of Karei, you do not come out alive." Since her recent disappearance, however, she has changed her name and now goes by the alias of Sylvia Magnus.
Current Personality: Miss Magnus as she is called on occasion is quite the cute girl and given the right outfit or attitude in a situation most definitely considered a beautiful woman. Her complexion is quite simple not really being tanned and not extremely pale it is a rather average colour. However this average colored skin and the added fact that she has not got any scars, pimples or other blemishes that may ruin her appearance. Following onto the fact she has such nice skin she has rather beautiful eyes are white are of a sky blue color and seemed to sparkle no matter what the situation.
Her face is quite soft and somewhat round to a degree however it is by no means pudgy looking at all. Sylvia has a small nose that compliments the rest of her face with of course a mouth underneath with absolutely no problems with her teeth or gums. On the sides of her face like any human she has ears, ears that have been pierced a near ridiculous amount of times in which each individual earring having a different word carved into the metal. The blonde's favorite is the earring with the kanji "Passion" on it.
Sylvia's hair is a bright blonde color and is somewhat long however it is quite an average length. This length goes just past her shoulder blades at the back and around just to the bottom of the chest at the front. The swordswoman's hair is rather messy in the way that Sylvia hardly ever bothers with it, the fringe swept to the side to keep it out of her eyes she usually has it up so that it doesn't move around when on the job however if she feels lazy she will just leave it down and do nothing with it, her attitude for some reason changing depending on her hair style.
When it comes down to her figure Sylvia is obviously a very athletic looking young woman and this is due to the intense training and vigorous physical activity she performs daily in her life as a ninja. Sylvia is a little below average height and this is both a disadvantage and advantage to her fighting skills. This girl doesn't really bother too much with her overall appearance as mentioned before however she does like to wear a variety of clothes that compliment her figure and sometimes she just wears clothes for comfort or work.
As a ninja and swordswoman she wears completely different attire when she is on the job; missions, chores or errands that need to be performed for her country and such are all times in which the girl wears practical clothing. Usually wearing a pair of long black pants she has bandages wrapped around certain parts to make them tight, these areas include on the thighs and calves mainly. They can also be seen around the ankle area in which connects to standard issue sandals as the fashion follows in this world. This outfit is usually followed up by a sleeveless top or something tight fitting so it doesn't get in the way of her combat.
For casual clothing the woman wears just about anything she deems to be cute, usually of pink color (her favorite color) she has quite a rather relaxed style on fashion. Wearing anything from skirts to pants and shorts she will more than likely be seen while wearing a dress. Nothing too fancy and usually not something that would be considered sexy she tries to be the cutest she can possibly be as she believes the highest form of being attractive is being cute. Sometimes however she wears casual clothing to suit weather conditions, warm and bigger clothing for cold weather, loose and smaller clothing for hot weather of course and wears something such as a jacket and pants for travelling as it usually quite comfortable.
On the rare occasion that Sylvia needs to do something formal she will dress appropriately for the occasion. Wearing the right dress for the situation is something she does fuss a little bit over, such as the right color scheme for the situation, although it contradicts entirely to her usually mindset she believes if you're going to dress up you do it right. Almost always she will wear some form of pink unless it's really not appropriate for the occasion such as a funeral for instance. She also does her hair and make up accordingly to the dress and therefore she ends up looking rather pretty by the end of it however hates when people point that out. However, as not many do know, Sylvia is actually no more than a human puppet.
Magnus Sylvia, a woman and “ninja” who was created in the capital city of Sefavil, Enrai in which had a rather average life, average for a shinobi at least. When she was crafted her mother had gotten a promotion on her job and thus they had to move to Hyougagakure. Her father, a puppeteer, who was responsible for crafting Sylvia, nothing much of a legend he works intensively to support his family when the wife leaves to go off on missions. Sylvia has just one sibling, an older brother, who was human. Quite protective of his younger sister, he was a major influence in her becoming obsessed with being cute. Sylvia doesn't live with anyone at all and lives in a small house in which she can barely afford.
The blonde is not really a pessimist or optimist in any way as it depends on her mood entirely. If she is scared she will become rather pessimistic as she turns anything good and creates an extremely negative argument against it, the problem being that she is not easily frightened. This is of course provided you are not some kind of bug. She is an optimist in almost all other times, fights, general outings, conversations and all but this sometimes is taken too far. It is seen to be taken too far because it results in her acting or saying something definitely inappropriate for the moment at hand.
As mentioned before, Sylvia is one tough cookie and therefore is a lot harder to scare than your average woman. These very few fears are being rejected by a boy or girl she confesses to, bugs of all types, snakes and lastly she is afraid of small children as she hates any one under the age of ten. Not being afraid of death is one of her best qualities and this quality carries on to the fact she is not afraid to take another's life either as long it is for the good of people rather than just her own personal gain. She does however believe a slow or painful death is unneeded and that is why she uses her weapons or puppets with precise and powerful strikes as well as ingenious tactics in order to end a fight quickly.
This puppet woman treats everyone with the amount of respect that they deserve, criminals deserve to die and the innocent deserve to be treated equally. Friends deserve to be treated as the best people in the world and boyfriends or girlfriends are treated as though they are the one and only people important in her life. Miss Magnus has always been a sucker for the lovey dovey side of things and thus the most important person in her life is her romantic interest.
Definitely not a natural born leader, Sylvia's outgoing personality is shattered into a much more shy version of herself. Large groups of people make her nervous in the way that she cannot form a sentence if she believes they are to judge her. This is provided it has nothing to do with her skills as a puppeteer as she is extremely proud of these skills, to insult them or to challenge them is warrant for your swift death or defeat rather. Of course with being a master in the way of the puppet it's one of her strongest hobbies.
Puppetry, to the highest degree of importance in Sylvia's life they make up for a vast majority of different hobbies. Training is one of them, becoming stronger so that she may fight for the freedom of others and to maintain the peace of her village is important to her. The puppets themselves are of particular interest to her and she with a reluctant attitude from her dad has had a number of occasions in which she has helped construct puppets of a rather... Average quality to say the least. Then comes the love the for the arts and mastery of the medical ninjutsu, everything about its grace and power is what attracts her to it. The factor about defending your village is another thing which Sylvia holds in high regard.
Sylvia's hobbies lay in other things besides just training and fighting, however behind this tough, tomboyish exterior, she has a much softer and more feminine side. She can find fun in just about anything so just about anything is her hobby except she won't do anything extremely "girly" or extremely "manly" unless forced or somehow convinced into doing so. People who expect her to do something that is out of character for her makes her extremely irritated, this is just one of the many, many pet peeves she has. One of the more quirky peeves of her would be the fact that flashing lights of any type annoy her for a completely unknown reason.
The human puppet and puppeteer's greatest strength is her ability to never give up in any circumstance, she will stand up and against anything by any means as long as it fits what she believes to be the best. For example she would not hesitate defying her village if it meant saving just one innocent life. This could be considered a weakness by all means however her biggest weakness would definitely be her arrogance and confidence in her abilities. This is a weakness because she is way too overconfident in her abilities and would take on anyone she thought she could beat (everyone). Her favorite color is pink and her favorite food is ice cream and not just any type of ice cream it is strawberry ice cream because well, it is pink. Overall Sylvia Magnus is definitely an odd ball and a rather powerfully unique figure in the puppet world. She has some cute quirky things about her and some rather bad perks about her that make her seem less desireable, just like the shinobi she is.
Likes: Sylvia, prior to her disappearance and resurfacing, enjoyed participating in the basic hobbies of every day teenagers and children. She liked to draw, she loved painting and designing clothing, among such her favorite color pink was more than an overused color of hers. However, as of late, she has completely made a world-turning difference to her hobbies and pursued a career as a puppet master, a puppet creator and a weaponsmith. So far, her career has yet to come to a screeching halt.
Dislikes: Sylvia highly dislikes when people are ignorant or look down on to others - be it because they are too weak to fend for themselves or otherwise. She finds this highly disrespectful, regardless of the situation at hand, be it in a fight or an everyday-life occasion. Among her dislikes include the color orange, as it is the direct opposite of the color pink, which is her favorite. No one knows as to why this is however.
Motivation: Sylvia's motivation comes from her new parents and creators, which has influenced her to pursue her career as a puppet master and blacksmith or weaponsmith. At first, she was reluctant to the idea of becoming someone of this caliber, though she came to the conclusion that she could very well design her own puppets and her own tactical weaponry if she were to do so. Following through with her desires, her ambitions, she hopes, will lead her to world-famous profiteering and the global authority on puppets.
Fears: Being as though Sylvia is now a puppet, she still does have a working chakra and brain-like memory network. Her memories of her first mission always play back in her head, and it actually scares her and makes her doubt herself in such a way that she is unsure of how to continue her career. In addition to this factor, she is also affected by the haunting trilogies of growing up as a Momochi, the days of fighting, stealing, killing and rape. Though she cannot pinpoint the location in which these things happened, nor the clan she was once bore from, that makes her all the more frightened as to why she is remembering this. Her biggest fear is to be thrown back into that type of reality again.

History: Karei was born into the infamous Momochi clan, heralded as a group of assassin masters and sages of stealth and silence. On the borders of the village Hyougagakure, one night in a small, bustling community turned into a night of boastful happiness. A young girl was born, and, unknowing to the clan, she would grow up to be one of their most prominent and honored members. Though the skills of the Momochi are boastful across country and sea, the skills this kunoichi would develop may yet echo across the seas of eternity and time, just as the founder of the clan had many, many years ago.
Just years after the young girl had been removed from the womb of her mother, she was trained and taught in the firey arts of combat, direct offense and defense, stealth and the arts of assassination and brutal murder. She was beaten, flogged and forced into situations children should never be exposed to. Even to the point of potential rape in order to vanquish any fear of death or otherwise, and provoke them to do anything necessary to survive. Karei was one such case, though she seemed to prevail above the quotient ratios of the other children.
Though her skills were mediocre at best back then, after she had been admitted into the Momochi Academy for Ninjutsu; her capabilities surfaced and her qualities and traits certainly offered her a plethora of opportunities once she rose from the watered down ashes of the Momochi clan. By the time she had graduated and become a Genin, Karei had already been revered as a prodigy of the Momochi clan, a feat in which Karei's mother and father hailed with pride. A daughter who fought like a son, and a young woman who slaughtered enemies like they were in a pighouse and Karei was the buzzsaw.
During her latter years as a Genin, Karei trained in the arts of stealth to the extremes, taking on multiple opponents at once, discerning probabilities and having been given the chance to conform and relish the the evergrowing community. Though she was successful, she ultimately played against the walls of destiny and played her cards incorrectly in the eyes of her majors. Among them was the very woman who had brought her into this world. Megane Momochi, the mother of Karei, had tried to convince her that what she was doing was wrong, turning away from the basic way of life which all Momochi seemingly followed.
It was then that the Momochi Civil Wars would ensue, as her father stood protest to the standard superficial life his daughter so blatantly objectified. Her mother had fallen ill to a deadly and extremely lethal disease, which inevitably resulted in the death of the woman shortly before the attacks began. A casual burial would have been too much for these shinobi, as she had been cremated during the war after raging clan members set fire to the home in an attempt to draw out Karei and her father, Kitsuke Momochi. During the fight, Karei had killed many, though she eventually became outnumbered, being surrounded by the current ambassador of the clan and his goons.
It was then that Karei's father, Kitsuke, would taken action to defend his daughter. Even if it meant his life in return for hers. From the shadow of fire and brimstone smoke, her father sent a long needle-like substance from the tip of his infamous blade, Orion, sending the group into a spiraling and concussive windmill before their brief decapitation. The ambassador and her father fought briefly, though, knowing that he was outpowered he instead activated the Hidden Mist Technique and threw his blade to Karei, telling her to take the weapon and run, never to return to the Village of Mists. Following his orders, she watched in horror as the ambassador decapitated her father, his head falling to the dusted grounds below, saturating the grass in his blood.
It was then Karei began following her code of honor, and moved to Hyougagakure, swearing that she would one day avenge the deaths of her parents. Never telling anyone of the horrific past she endured, she further attended the Official Academy of Shinobi Practices within the slum area of Hyougagakure, and worked a part-time job at a ramen shop for a few years. Saving enough money up after a brief period of time, she purchased a small home, about 40 square feet in size, allowing her to get by. Though after the ramen shop mysteriously burned down, and the owner was murdered, she had to resort back to the lifestyle in which she wanted to escape. So, in order to fulfill such desires, she decided to employ her skill as a kunoichi and make money performing missions. Since then, she has graduated to the rank of Chunin, and become a prominent fighting force throughout Hyougagakure, revered as the "Girl of the Mist". Though this is the only record the village has left after her unexpected latter of disappearance.
Recently resurfaced, though known, but unrevealed, Karei was capture, subdued and transformed into a human puppet by an assailant and mad-woman named Asami Magnus. Being as though, at the time she was a Chunin, Asami and her lover, Bizon, treated Karei as if she was their own daughter. Which was fortunate for her, because she could have just been killed instead. As a child who was now brought up by a swordsmith and a kunoichi puppeteer, it was only natural that it would soon become a sparking interest to her. Being in a hot room all day making swords, personal weaponry and customized puppets however at the time, was the last thing on her mind, which she told her newfound parents rather bluntly. Bizen however, unfuriated, wanted Karei out of harms way completely, mostly for fear that he and his wife would be discovered for the kidnapping and mechromancy of Karei's new persona, Sylvia.
Her ninja career had finally begun, however, being as though Bizon was indeed the male in the relationship, thus his arguments were quickly shattered by Asami. Her 'mother' actually wanted to see what kind of ninja she could make, influencing Bizon to go along with the plan in order to see the results. Though Sylvia had now been created as a puppet, with a spark of ingenuity and creativity, she still possesses an aging feature, which promptly allowed her to grow with each passing year, similar as to how a human may do so. Due to this, her appearance constantly changed, as did her attitudes, promptly hiding the once known Karei from the pages of existence. After her immediate promotion to Chunin, going on her first mission was probably one of the biggest turning points in her life, as her job was to simply escort an old man to a small village on the borders of Hyougagakure. However, being as though the route was dangerous and known for Highwaymen attacks, bandits inevitably descended upon the two. She tried her hardest to overcome their numbers and what skill they had, but without the actual capabilities to fight with anything other than assorted projectiles and hand to hand combat, she was outmatched by their swords and defeated very quickly. The old man, in an attempt to save the human life in which he believed Sylvia possessed, sacrificed what little possessions he had on his person. In a fit of rage due to unsatisfactory loot however, one of the thieves lash oued and cut off the mans left arm. This memory plays through the kunoichi's brain operative patterns even now, though back then, it would go on for days.. Weeks, even months - until she hit a brick wall of realization.
In order to become stronger, she must dedicate her life to the trades in which Sylvia Magnus was born into by her creators and newlyfound parents. Among said trades - was the fruit of her eden existence. Puppetry. Given the raw materials to do so from her parents, she trained day in and day out. She made a plethora specially crafted weaponry and component attachments which she could hide from plain sight utilizing her already human-like puppet exoskeletal structure. She worked on customized puppets with lethal assets, completing many of the projects, though there are some who remain to this day unfinished. For Sylvia, it was difficult to have anything less than a perfect puppet; as she was considered by her creators as well. As the training intensified, so did the difference in weapons and creative ideas she created and used to train with. However, at the age of sixteen, she felt ready to go out and finally perform missions for her village once more, confident in her abilities to fight and defend herself and any whom walk beside her. With an evergrowing confidence in her qualities and traits, she crushed any who stood in her way with a broad range of ranged weapons, melee weapons and practical tactical progression.
Following through with her state of the art puppet creations, she also developed a variety of things boastful of even the oldest and most skilled puppet masters. Creations in which they would probably have been jealous of, similar to the skilled mindset of Sasori. Completing enough missions by the time she had turned 17, she was promoted to Special Jounin with the academy's official recognition and began perfecting her skills of Ninjutsu and Puppetry as a whole. She developed two signature eye-socket materials, the left eye which allowed her to see emotional perception, which allows her to see a persons emotions in physical form. To her, the darkness in someones soul appears as heavy, black robes, constantly weighing them down, even when they may be laughing or smiling. Being capable of tracking someone by a specific combination of personality traits, in which she is able to find hidden opponents by simply noticing their emotionally influenced color (similar to those who can see Chakra via Sharingan, Kagura's Mind Eye, etc.) This eye was also equipped with a scope which allows her to zoom in for clear sight up to one mile away. The second was her right eye, which consists of the same scope implimented in the left eye, though also has a pneumatic camera recorder, which can record up to three hours of footage and take up to 25 pictures at one time.
Equipped to her body was a broad, very wide variety of components, which consisted of things such as; a senbon machine gun, poison launchers, a taser, fragmentation launcher, shuriken launcher, a sawblade, a cluster cannon, various taijutsu-influenced parts which allowed a greater potential of crushing power or attacking might, a water jet, and even a flamethrower. Every part, though equipped to her person, is a component which can be added, removed or replaced with another piece of equipment, even in the midst of combat (though this takes 1 post to change weapons on a specified part of the body, be it the Arm, Hand, Head, etc). The mechanical makeup of the girl was magnificent, and allowed for virtually any additional compact scenarios which further empowered her puppetry capabilities. Being noticed by higher-up shinobi and officials alike, she was offered a position as a Jounin by the time she turned 20. Gladly accepting their offers, she appealed gracefully mission after mission. Pleased with her performance, they assigned her a position on the IDTF of Hyougagakure, or, the Immediate Defensive Tasking Force (IDTF). Being as though Sylvia was actually a puppet, she possessed no skills for anything other than puppetry, ninjutsu, weapon crafting, blacksmithing and hand to hand combat.
As of now, she remains to be a prominent fighting force within the military of Hyougagakure, under close supervision of the Kage and his associates. She hopes to one day become an ANBU Black Op with the permission of her leader. Since she was promoted to Chunin-rank, she has never spoken to her parents, however, though she means to make time to visit them.
RP Sample: Karei Momochi. A thirteen year old master of assassination and tactical brutality. Thoughts in her mind swirled similar to the clouds which now surrounded her and enveloped her body as a whole. The sunlight seemed to shine brighter than ever before at the gates of Tengakure. She had been in hiding for months now, which may have seemed like years in reality. However, her slumber was not spent in peace. No, not at all. She had been training and perfecting her skills - as she always had. Now, resurfacing, she had appeared at the renowned village of skyscrapers. It was bigger than she had ever imagined, being as though she had never visited this village before. The sunlight cut through the clouds like a butter knife, a golden hue seemed to shine down and cast shadows of massive quality on the lands coveted by the feet of the small kunoichi.
As she approached the massive ironclad gates, she noticed a small group of shinobi ahead of her. It seemed they were guarding the entrance to the village, which wasn't a surprise. With all of the turmoil happening throughout the world, Karei would not have expected anything less of a major village; regardless of the position in which this one stood. At the throat of the world, the pressure up here was almost unbearable and it definitely took getting used to. However, the heat from the sun which was closer than ever, seemed to counter the striking cold weather from the passing winds. Walking forth, the group of shinobi sprung forward in an attempt to defend, and if necessary, to kill for their country.
This action was familiar to Karei, as she had done many times over; both defending her country as well as herself. However, underestimation was a factor which always seemed to play part in a battle with the young girl, as it is common to believe one could overcome the qualities of a small kunoichi such as herself, and bewildered a title which many knew, but had not seen for some time. The guards drew their weapons respectively, left to right, she followed their hands watching them reveal each item within seconds. Two kunai.. A tanto.. A straightedge katana.. Shuriken attached to wires. It seemed each of them were specialists with their weapons, and judging by their attire, her assumption would have been correct assuming they were at least high Chunin or Jounin rank. This was a situation Karei was familiar to, though. She drew no weapon, nor had movement in preparation. Instead, she only drew a breath and look at them, speaking on a sly, yet wise voice.
"My name is Karei Momochi. I mean no harm by coming to this village, nor do I mean harm to you. Lay down your weapons unto your sheathes and bring forth your commanding officer, or mayhap the Tenkage. I do not wish to cross arms with the elites of your village, but merely to join arms with you instead." Bowing, her long ponytail flushed with brightness, the sunshine reflecting the light from her head. If the situation came down to it, she would gladly engage in combat with the group, though she was sure that her introduction would sway their actions otherwise; especially because she asked for a commanding officer. Though, precautions must have been taken as she was sure would happen - chakra gathered throughout her body, specifically being channeled to her palms in preparation to decimate any who moved forth with intent to harm. Waiting for the coming of a higher-up, she stood straight up, continuing to focus on the group, yet never losing focus on her surroundings.
