The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: Blood exludes a powerful aura of strength like an iron wall. Blood has a powerful iron will born from crimson flames of his early childhood. He can be quite blunt believing that those who sugar coat things are simpley hiding the truth. He can be rather cold, subzero for that matter. If there was something to describe him it would be a katana dipped into the ice cold waters of the artic. Blood while cold does have a extremely caring side that rarely pops up unless the situation truly presents itself. This brings to light his protective side. Like a wolf would fight to protect the pack and a mother wolf her cubs then does Blood would do the same to all those he deems worthy of his care.
Blood has sometime been described as anti social choosing to not interact with others because he lacks such social skills. And even still he lacks any desire to hangout with people see people as the reason for his problems. So those that try to hang with him may be repelled by his cold and tasteless words toward them. Blood has a disdain for the socially and economic privileged as he had been around them his whole life. Being apart of one of the noble clans has placed him directly into the mass. It is from these expereinces he developed his hate for social events. Yet while he cannot be a social butterfly, he seems to have grasped the professional concept of the upper hierachy. So while he may not be able to hold a conversation and garner any love from the social elite he can get the job done when necessary. Blood when push comes to shove values trust over all things for thsoe without trust deserve not to live.
Likes: Loves the Moon seeing it as the source of the power and the only staionary thing in his life. He enjoys battle seeing it as a chance to do something that doesn't involve speaking. He likes being in nature of any kind seeing it as a way to get in touch with his animal side.
Dislikes: He dislikes the rich believing them to be too filled with entitlement. He hates extremely talkative people seeing them as those who clog the air with unecessary chatter. He dislikes triators seeing them as something less than dirt.
Motivation: His most powerful motivation is the desire to achive the title of Wolf God. It is a story he heard from his father, that once in every ten generations a child of the ookami clan is born as the reincarnated Wolf God.
Fears: His deepest fear besides death is that of not being remembered after he leaves this world. For those who have died and are forgotten in the torrent of history will never be known.
Ookami Clan
Bloodline Name: Roukyou (Lycanthropy)
Bloodline Ability: Ookami are able to manipulate their own flesh and form, taking on characteristics and capabilities of a wolf imparting them quicker reflexes and heightened combat facilities.
Location: Tsukigakure
Clan History: The Ookami is one of the hailing clans in Tsuki. Their origins is unknown as that of many clans. Many Ookami gather together in smaller groups known as packs with a leader, known as the Alpha. In order to become a pack leader an Ookami must have three followers at least and be B-ranked or higher. Each pack works differently and has a different code they live by. The highest Ookami is known as the Vasiliás however he hasn't been seen for ages so many that the young Ookami think that it's just a legend.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH! ARGHHHHHH!" The screams of a women in labor rang with a resounding echo through the Rayne Ookami compound. The nurses that ran around her bed quickly grabbed warm wet towels to dab her forhead. The scene that was before the leader of the Rayne Pack did not show his wife like the beautiful queen she was but rarelt did a women ever look beautiful during child birth. He paced the floor as the nurse shooed him out of the room. His wife begin to scream again as she began to push his child, their child, his heir into the world.
Taking his hand into his own he began to think about the future and what it holds. "Finally a child of my own and heir but what am I giving life too. This child is going to come into a world at war with enemies on all sides and I don't know if I am truly fine with putting a new life into such a situation. What if..." As he was about to continue a nurse openned the door. "He's here my lord."
Silently thanking the woman he burst into the room and saw a beautiful sight he ahd thought he see in so long. In the arms of his sun and moon his everything was the most precious gift any one could have given him. A bright green eyed child looked at him as if it was absorbing the essence of the man that stood before it. His wife face flushed red smiled at him, reaching down he took the child from his wifes arm. Taking the young boy into his arms he could feel the small heartbelt that pumped blood through his small body.
"His name, what shall we name him." His wifes voice was soft from her straining. Looking once into his wifes lavender eyes and back into his sons he could feel the power in his soul. This was his life, his heir, his blood. 'His name shall be Blood. Blood Rayne Ookami." The child seem to become aware of the solid strong voice that spoke and it snuggled deeper into the cloth as if it was already getting used to being the care of his father. Looking at his son and his wife he shared a kiss with her knowing that the dawn of a new era was upo the pack and it all started with the life they had created.

"GRRRR OOWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!" It was another full moon and it was time for Blood to practice taking on the power of the ryoukou. His training was tough and it would only get worse. Each time he would practice transforming his wild mind would upsurp control and terrorize the area around him. If it wasn't for the respect born into the subconcious instincts of his primal form for the wolf form of his father Blood would slaughter many innocents. Tonight would seem to continue in the same manner. His body contorted as if combat with itself both sides of the young man unable to relinquish control of the vessel. His father stood patiently outside of the circle watching his son do battle with very thing he did so many moons ago. He knew that if his son, his heir was to become a leader of this pack and be a viable part of the ninja society he was going to have to overcome this small obstacle. The war between man and beast is forever going on. Even in the bodies of these hybrids the war continues. Returning to the moment at hand he could see the pain the child was in, the frustration from the lack of success was driving him amd. "Blood you must control it, It serves you not vice versa. In order to take my place one day you must conquer this foe. This is your birthright! and one day you will become stronger than any one could possibly imagine."
Blood snapped his head toward his father, inside his mind the war of man and beast was on in full swing. Blood rushed against the wolf his large fangs cleaving through the air at the approaching young man. Rolling under the attack Blood swung with a quick strike to the ribs of the beast. The entity growled in protest and as Blood turned to fight the beast was upon him. On the ground the beast held him down and like so many times he knew that the beast would bite him and it would take over. It was then his father words reached him. Growling wildly Blood roared with his might and seem to take on the wolf form. His coat was white and his eyes still green. His ears in a crescent shape a large mane surrounded him. Roaring Blood prepared to fight but the entity backed down and inked away. Standing in triumph Blood let loose a howl of victory. On the outside world, Blood body stop shaking and the transformation began. But this time it was different after it was complete Blood had full control of himself his father looked please and transformed as well. Standing together as father and son the two Wolves howled into the night soon the whole Rayne pack joined in, each from his own place in the compound. It was a glorious night for all and a great time but what happens when the sky goes pitch black.

It was the night of the "Running". The "Running" was a special event for the Rayne Ookami pack. It was were the boys would go as a part of the wolf pack to hunt missing nin. Tonight it was Blood's turn and it was special because he would run along his father. Sitting next to his father on the bamboo floor, Blood began to check his ninja gear the jittering of excitement coursing through his veins. Tonight was a running different than most, it was one with a new moon. Their werewolf forms would be severly weaken on this night so this was a test of a young boys ninja skills without relying on his greatest weapon. Checking for kunai he saw his father do the same both excited about the prospect of the hunt. Biting on his lip Blood looked at his dad, "Tell me the story of the Wolf God." His father putting the finish touches to his gear looked at his son.
Smiling he sighed and began "As you know we Ookami have a leader of the highest power this person owns the title of Versilias. But among us Rayne Ookami we believe the Versilias is the closet to the God of Wolves. The Wolf God is an Ookami user who's human form can make obedience in any wolf that crosses his path. They say that in his human form his strength and speed are greater than any of us." His father turned to him fixing his gear as he continued the story. "And once in every ten generations he is reincarnated into the body of a small child. This child then becomes the Wolf God incarnate. It is the Versilias and the Wolf God that lead us even when mother moon sleeps and it is those two who will lead us to bliss." Taking one strong look at his father the two men prepared to depart. Blood's mother fixed his gear and kissed him goodbye "I love you son.." Blood gave her a strong squeeze," I love you mother...." Releasing him from her grasped she went to her husband kiss and hugged and spoke one phrase. "Protect our cub or I will eat your head." His father grinned,"I promise my lady." One last look and the two men left out the door.
The sound of a whistle rang through the compound, males between the ages of 13-45 filled the clearing. As Blood and his father walked into the clearing two groups had been form. The young boys Blood's age and the grown that knew his father. Him and his father nodded to each other and joined their respective groups. Chatter filled the clearing as the males began to get ready for the "Running". After five minutes another whistle rang through the clearing. His father stood at the top of a large rock in front of everyone and simply looked every man in the eye. Each one catching the meaning, then his father eyes landed on him and the two shared a brief moment of happiness. Then without a word his father disappeared into the forest and in a large mass movement the men disappeared after him the smell of prey leaking through the air. Blood's body was pumping with adrenaline, emotions flew around his head in a wild frenzy. Fear, excitement, anticpation all of these coursed through him, gripping the handle on the blade that was on his back he rushed forward. As him and the rest of the men continued their hunt he stopped at a tree catching wind of a familiar scent. It was blood and lots of it. Then he heard the howl, the howl of a kill. Reentering into the hunt Blood searched for his first kill. Coming to a clearing he saw a missing nin next to him on the other branch was one of his fellow younger ookami. They nodded two each other and both prepared to strike. Blood took his sword from his back and jumped from the branch, with a resounding snap his blade came down upon the missing nin. The ninja barely blocked his assault with his kunai. The other ookami followed suit and jumped down as well striking the nin in his stomach. Retching, the nin staggered back Blood flourished his blade and slashed downward loping off the head. Breathing hard the young boys smiled at each other and together howled at their confirmed kill.
Wiping off the blood on his sword they boths rejoined the hunt eagar to succeed again. The night was full of howls of victory multiple howls hitting the air. As the night came to an end, Blood was tired from his physical exterion a few small wounds and cuts adored his body. Leaping out of the forest, he came back to the clearing. Different pairs of fathers and their sons were together each one embracing each other and sharing the spoils of their night. Looking for his own father, Blood could not smell his father among the crowd. Searching franticly he came across an old friend of his fathers,"Have you seen my dad." The man looked at him and spoke," Last time I checked he was still in there, something about finishing the job." Taking that into condsideration Blood leaped back into the forest. Calling for his father Blood began to worry his dad was one of the strongest no way he would be taken down by these vermin. Pushing deeper into the forest he picked up on more blood but it was different than before. It was... it was his dads blood! Going in the direction of the scent he came upon a grisly scene his father had been hit in the chest and was bleeding profusely. Blood fought the urge to go to help as he saw a missing nin walked up his dad deathly look on his face. Taking his blade into his hand once more he met the shinobi as he went to strike his father. His blade was a swift piece of death as he cut into the man. Growling he saw his father try to speak but he was taken to his knees from his injury. Using a protective stance Blood saw the missing nin lick his own blood in earnest as if he enjoyed the test. Stepping toward the man Blood slashed but each strike was met with a resound smack from the kunai. Both combatants became a whirlwind of steel. Until the missing nin kicked Blood's feet from under him. As the missing nin went to strike him for the finishing blow his face contorted into a fit of pain and then death. The man fell beside Blood and standing above him was his father. Taking his hand into his own his father raised Blood to his feet. Embracing one another Blood and his father howled confirming a kill.
Men from the compound came into the clearing seeing the damage done, took his father into thier arms and carried him back to the compound. Blood was greeted by his peers cheering him on a job well done. Returning to the compound his mother came out to meet them her tears evident but her pride even more so. As the sun came up their was a knock on the door, Blood too excited from last nights events opened the door and was greeted by the intructor of the ninja academy. "Blood Rayne Ookami, for your skill you have been invited to join the tsukigakure ninja academy." His mother and father nodded at him and Blood spoke, "I'd be honored."

RP Sample: The world we live in is filled with cold people, and who knew better about cold people than me. Being part human part beast had its up and downs. Yet lately it seemed to be more downs than ups. People fear what they don't know and my situation was no different. This recent mission was terrible the minute we brought in that fugitive and I revealed my name the officials of the village hurried me out with out a second thought. Now I could have given them the savage animal that the ywanted but it wouldn't do me any good.Yet it would not matter about what they thought of me as long as the job was complete and me rewarded was all that mattered the opinon of others meant nothing to me. This dust was annoying but then again I can't control that either. Blood cranned his neck towards the night sky, The moon is so beautiful tonight it was almost so nice that I could just sit here and watch it but that would not be wise. Letting a smile grace his face he relished in the cold breeze that crossed his skin. Taking one more look at the sprawling village behind him Blood took off into the forest that was nearby.
It was night like these that make me think of my favorite story about the Wolf God. I know it is a child hood tale but it makes me feel better whenever I am away from home. Blood's deposition became lower as he thought of his parents hoping they were alright. He had decided to live in the village away from the compound to train himself better as a ninja. Man I hope mom remembered to send my moon cakes, on every full moon his mother made moon cakes and she always sent them. Picking up the pace he continued to hold on he knew it would be real late when he got home but when you were on your way to claiming your birthright of being a god of wolves it never hurt to spend time in your domain.
