The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: The most defining aspect of Makoto's personality is his introversion. He has always been a loner, not exactly by choice, but that's the way it turned out. Over the years, lack of human contact has left him very incapable of adequately bonding with others. That isn't to say he lacks empathy, in fact, he is adept at telling how a person is feeling, whether through expression, or just a hunch. What he lacks are the social skills to communicate with others. He can read, write, speak, what have you, but stringing words together in a smooth manner is beyond him. He is blunt to a fault, and often comes off as insulting. He despises this aspect of himself, but it is far too late in his life for his personality to dramatically change, so he has resigned himself to solitude. There are people he can get along with though, it just takes more effort on their part to understand Makoto's intentions when he speaks rudely.
The second most defining characteristic of his personality is his caring nature, and over-abundance of empathy. You could call him a care-bear if you will, as that is the roll he often takes. Through his actions, he is very kind and gentle to others, especially animals, fauna, and children. Adults still tend to have a harder time with him because of his atrocious choice in words, but children who's skills in communication are lack luster find it very easy to get along with Makoto. It certainly helps that Makoto is a bit childish himself, so he can fit right in with kids. He has even applied to be an academy instructor which his skills would easily qualify him for, but the interviewing process was too much for him. That doesn't stop him from checking on the village youth every once in awhile.
Makoto can also be quite stubborn. He has long been in quarrel with people about nature, and their treatment of it. He is completely 'green' so to speak. Much of his time is spent in the jungles around the village. He absolutely adores the vibrancy of nature that seems to contrast with his gloomy demeanor. This also fits well with another aspect of his personality, which is his wanderlust. Makoto finds it very difficult to stay in one place for long, especially villages. He isn't very good at being around large groups of people, preferring to be out in the wilderness enjoying the world. He constantly travels, checking back in with the village every once in awhile. He usually takes missions and whatnot that will send him someplace new to explore, rather than hanging around Kusamuragakure.
Another faucet of his stubbornness is his resistance to change. He is very set in his ways, and adamantly refuses to adapt. He smokes not because he is addicted, but because he is so used to smoking that stopping now would be too much to change. He also can't settle down because he is so used to traveling. He will likely continue in his ways until he dies, whether that's sad or not doesn't concern him because as long as he can keep doing what he wants, he is content. Luckily for others, his 'ways' are often beneficial to others, if not simply harmless.
Likes: As mentioned, Makoto is quite fond of nature. He grew up in the wilderness, and has always loved it. In particular, he likes flowering plants, and flashy aspects of nature. From bright fruits, to exotic birds, everything that is bright and naturally colorful is appealing to Makoto. He is even known to wander off, simply to find something pretty to look at. Another thing he likes is smoking. Smoking is no vice to Makoto, as he doesn't smoke tobacco, he simply smokes flavorful herbs and such that he finds on his journeys. He likes things that are appealing to all of his senses, so tasting things through smoking is another one of his joys. Other things that he is fond of are children and small animals. They tend to get along with him, and are a large portion of his social contact, so he makes sure to have fun while he's in town.
Dislikes: A bit surprisingly, something that Makoto doesn't like is being alone. If he had the means, he would love to be in better contact with people, but it just isn't something he thinks he's capable of. In his travels, he is often alone and it depresses him greatly. Another thing he dislikes is pointless destruction. It's fine if you hunt for food and clothing, or chop down trees for shelter, but when people are wastefully destructive, it infuriates him. There is no reason to take a life for no purpose, and there is certainly no joy in doing so. He has a particular distaste for assassins and game hunters. The sheer waste of life they endorse is obscene. Some other things he dislikes are the taste of synthetic foods, candy and fire.
Motivation: Makoto has two driving forces that potentially motivate him. The first his self indulgence. More often than not, his depression can overtake him, and to fight it back, he likes to enjoy himself. This is probably the most contributing part of his personality as it drives his desire to travel and try new things. He is always searching for things to enjoy, and new life experiences because of it. The second driving motivation is a bit less selfish. He has a profound respect for nature, more specifically plants and animals, and is often motivated to act in their defense. He doesn't take to calmly protesting either, he goes right in to bluntly express his distaste. The reasoning for this respect is because wildlife has an enigmatic 'system' so to speak. Life constantly breeds, and yet things constantly die, always struggling to survive. There is almost a perfect balance between life and death in nature, which is absurd due to the scale of it all. Such an efficient yet wild system is awe inspiring to Makoto.
Fears: Makoto's most crippling fear is fire, but he is not fearful of it in the most general sense. He doesn't fear the sight, color, sound, heat or pain of fire. He doesn't even fear that it could kill him. The reason he fears fire is the same reason he respects wildlife as a whole. It is awe inspiring. Unlike wildlife which constantly grows and keeps balance, fire constantly grows and sows destruction, leaving nothing in its wake. It is an aspect of nature that is purely destructive, and yet, through destruction fire grows. It is a terrifying 'thing' that goes against everything Makoto believes in, and yet he is so helpless in front of it. To 'stop' fire would be tantamount to stopping nature, and such a thing is inconceivable.
A less noticeable, but still present fear for Makoto is the fear of being stuck. Especially being stuck alone in a dark place. That doesn't mean he is afraid of any of those individual situations, but combined, they change into a terrifying predicament for Makoto. Things like being in a prison cell, or lost in a cave are quite scary for Makoto. He would hate to be in either situation, and the only way to make them worse would be if he literally could not move. If he was absolutely restrained in pitch black darkness, with no noise and nothing living around him, he would be in hell. The only possible way to make it worse would be if he knew that there was a forest fire transpiring or some such similar destructive event.
Senju
Bloodline Name: Mokuton
Bloodline Ability: Mokuton Wood Style is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines earth and water-based chakra natures to create wood, or complete trees. This ability can also be used to create other aspects of trees, such as seeds or flowers. Wood Release techniques can be produced from anywhere, including the user's body, as the user's chakra is literally converted into a source of life. Wood Release Techniques Mokuton no Jutsu are commonly affiliated with the Snake seal. due to their many battles with the uchiha they have a natural resistance to genjutsu that reduces genjutsu used against them by 1 rank. The Mokuton jutsu is rather difficult to control and thus only chuunin and above are able to use it. members can choose not to have earth and water as elements but if they do not have them they will not be able to use wood style.
Location: Kusamuragakure no Sato
Clan History: The Senju clan descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths who was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy and believed that love was the key to bringing peace to the world. The Sage grew to favour the ideals of his younger son over those of his older son, who believed that power alone was the true key to finding peace. Therefore, on his deathbed it was the younger of the two brothers that the Sage chose to name as his successor. The elder brother, bitter and hateful at having being denied what he felt was rightfully his to inherit, attacked his younger sibling. The Uchiha clan would descend from the elder brother, resulting in the bitter centuries-long rivalry between the Senju and the Uchiha.
he Senju clan gained their fame in the era before the founding of the hidden villages. Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were prodigious in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu. Because of this, they were as "the clan with a thousand skills" which gave them their name "Senju" (a thousand skills", or "a thousand hands").
The Senju's place at the top of the shinobi world was undisputed, but there was one clan that was able to stand up to them: the Uchiha clan. Whenever one country hired the Senju, their enemies would hire the Uchiha, and vice versa. This led to a rivalry between the two clans.
The Senju clan, grew tired of the fighting, and a peace treaty was formed with the Uchiha clan. The two clans came together to stop fighting. The Senju settled in the Cherry Blossom Country, and the Uchiha moved to the Ocean Country. Due to thier lack of a basic kekkai genkai at the time the Senju clan all but disappeared the lines between them and other clans becoming dimmer and dimmer until eventually the clan dissapeared. An occational person can be found with these abilities but overall it's extremely rare for people to have any ability contained by the Senju clan, but it does happen and not just in thier original country several villages have claimed to have a ninja that holds these abilities.
History: Makoto was born into a rather depressing family. They were a dying clan that had all but abandoned the ninja way. There were 2 older brothers, one of which had become a ninja, the other of which had decided to work and support the family. Both brothers were anything but mean to Makoto, but their mother was another story. She clung to a shred of pride that caused her to be strict with the boys, to an almost abusive extent. Their father, the only other ninja in the clan besides Makoto's older brother, was often on missions and could not be bothered to step in. The reason their mother felt so entitled was because their clan had in fact descended from the Senju clan. Their family name had changed over time, but there was a direct family tree leading all the way back to one of the most esteemed ninja clans. It was due to this lineage that their mother clung to the hope of once again regaining greatness. It soon became apparent that Makoto would be the key in this endeavor.
As a young child, he had an almost baffling affinity for nature. As soon as he could walk, Makoto was off in the woods, exploring as he might, and getting into all kinds of trouble. He'd come back filthy, and covered in small injuries, and soon, their mother grew tired of it. She kept him within the estate grounds, and started enforcing a strict training cycle, believing that the academy was below their prestige. Soon after, the family noticed how distraught Makoto was, being unable to spend his time surrounded by wilderness. Despite his incessant complaints, and tantrums, she would not yield, and forced him to continue. It was after a particularly daunting tantrum, that Makoto showed a glimpse of his potential. While in the yard, screaming back at his mother after a nasty fight, his chakra went wild, and plants noticeable seemed to form around his feet. His mother, well versed in the history of the Senju, knew immediately that this was a display of the Mokuton kekkai genkai.
Almost immediately after the discovery, Makoto's treatment changed. His training was now done with an instructor brought from outside the family, and his mother was much kinder in all regards. She couldn't go and displease her meal ticket now could she? With his new treatment came a very negative aspect though. His older brother who had already become a ninja lost all support from their family. Due to Makoto's inheritance of a special ability, the family had decided that Makoto would be the successor instead of his brother. This infuriated his brother who had previously been very kind. After nearly a year of brooding, and steeping in his hatred, Makoto's older brother took him far into the jungles surrounding their village, and left him there. Chaos ensued as the family searched desperately for Makoto, but to no avail. After a week, he was declared dead, and his brother who had played innocent, was once again placed as the successor of the family. Unbeknownst to Makoto at the time, this was probably one of the most beneficial events in his life.
Despite abandoning his younger sibling, Makoto's brother wasn't completely heartless. He had left Makoto with an old man who lived by himself in a small shack deep in the wilds. The man was a simple old man who lived off the land, and respected nature. He didn't ask any questions when he found Makoto at his door, and simply welcomed the young child into his home. It was a weird pairing as the man had lost and semblance of social skills, but he was a very kind person. He fed Makoto, and provided him with a shelter, but Makoto was hardly in the home. His life was as he had wanted since childhood. He was free to explore the land, and frolic in the wilderness. It was like a dream come true for Makoto, who bonded even further with nature. Outside of the village, he was free to test his capabilities as he liked, climbing trees, chasing animals, and even experimenting with some self taught ninjutsu.
His capability of manipulating Mokuton element was a gift that he appreciated greatly. To him, it was like a sign from god that he was meant to be in the forests, not stuck in some home practicing standardized ninjutsu over and over. Eventually though, he felt his own limits and knew that if he wanted to pursue even great techniques, he would need instruction. Solemnly, Makoto made the arduous trip back to his village, after saying goodbye to the man who had homed him. By this time, he was in his young teens, and looked far different from what he did as a child. It would be hard for his family to identify him as he was now, but his name would give him away. Deciding to stick to his ancestral roots, rather than making up a name, he took on the family name Senju, while keeping his given name. It wouldn't really fool is family, but it would probably sow some doubt. With his new name, Makoto enrolled in the ninja academy, skipping several levels due to his age, and inherent abilities.
It didn't take long for him to realize that he was different from the others his age. He was awkward, he didn't speak well, and he had weird habits from growing up in the wild. Most others avoided him, and he ended up always being alone due to an odd number of people in their class. Even on assignments, and training sessions, he'd always end up paired with an instructor. This actually worked out to his advantage though, because learning directly from the instructor not only introduced him to a higher skill level, but also allowed his natural talents to shine. In a particularly straining sparring exorcise, Makoto slipped up and accidentally exposed his Mokuton abilities. He had been trying to keep them a secret to hide from his family, and in his negligence, he had used them. The instructor, while bewildered, noticed how distraught Makoto was, and was able to keep it a secret. From then on, Makoto was intentionally always separated from the other students in sparring so that he and his teacher could develop his techniques in privacy.
Makoto absorbed the teachings like a sponge, and ended up on an accelerated path to graduate. He out shined his class by a long shot, and was allowed to graduate with the year ahead of him. He was then partnered up with two other graduates, and a jounin for him to gain real life experience, and train for the chuunin exam. This period of his life seemed to fly by, as every day was traveling, or special training, or doing small tasks for his teacher. Despite being with the group, he still felt alone. The other two young ninjas treated him like an outcast, and only performed with him when they had to. It made it hard for them to work as a team, but he had to struggle through it. Even their teacher didn't very fond of Makoto, spending most of his time helping the other two. Unknown to Makoto, his jounin instructor had been informed of his abilities, and was spending his time training the other two so they could keep up with him.
After a long while, it was finally the time for the chuunin exam. His team entered together, and utilizing some forced tactics, they did manage to make it through the first rounds, though there was definite tension between them. As soon as they made it to the individual portion of the exams, Makoto was relieved to be on his own once again. He figured he'd be able to perform better, unobstructed by others. It was with this flimsy mindset that he went into the preliminaries for the final portion of the exam. He fought another boy his age, but the kid was far more skilled than Makoto had anticipated. He was quickly cornered and was about to lose, so Makoto had to reveal his skills in order to pass. Utilizing the mokuton element, he quickly subdued the other, and astounded the judges in the process. It had been a while since a real Senju had made an appearance.
Now that his abilities were out in the open, Makoto no longer restrained himself. He blazed through the final portions of the competition, domineering over his opponents with his overwhelming powers. Granted, his abilities only seemed strong to the young ninjas who had never seen or been taught how to fight against mokuton. Despite his prowess, Makoto almost did not pass the exam. The judges had reviewed his earlier tests, and were well aware that he did not work well with others. Despite this though, they felt his talents were good enough to warrant his passing, so he was promoted to chuunin. This was exciting news for Makoto who had passed, but it generated more animosity in his team, as the other two hadn't passed. Noticing that the conflict had grown to an alarming extent, their master split them up, allowing Makoto to take missions on his own, or with other groups.
During this time, Makoto became absorbed in his career. He relinquished any chance at friendship, and was always outside the village, performing any task available to him. When he wasn't doing a mission, he was back in the jungle, enjoying himself the only ways he knew how. He thought his life was going great, but soon, loneliness crept in. In being such a busybody, he had lost sight of those around him, and by the time he realized he was completely alone, he was already a jounin, and his entire age group was so far behind him, he had no chance of reconciling. He had achieved so much, but he gained no happiness from it. He was an adult with no friends, and a village that looked at him as more of a tool than a person, mainly because he had acted like a tool. It is in present time that we find Makoto, with little drive to continue being a ninja, wandering aimlessly through his life.

There was a clamor near the front of the ship after they had touched down on land. Looking over, The Tod saw a small gathering of people, including his new crew. The Tod decided to join the rest of the group. The gist of what he got from the conversation(as he was covering his ears throughout much of it) is that they got first class treatment for a day if they didn't cause any problems on the island. Seemed simple enough, hell, it seemed down right easy. The Tod had planned to simply rest of his headache most of the day anyways, so this just made it even better. He could wear comfy robes, get in a nice bubbly hot-tub, get a back massage, the possibilities were numerous, and the greedy bastard inside of him wanted to try them all. Promptly accepting a nice, soft white robe from one of the attendants, The Tod ran down the short stretch of land before the resort area started. He didn't even stay to receive the keys, instead b-lining towards the most relaxing and comfortable area he could find. The massage parlor.
One could never go wrong with a massage, and if he was lucky, a temple massage would do the trick for his head troubles. With the excitement of a small child, The Tod approached the counter and waved over one of the young ladies who was working in the front. "Excuse me, I got one of them first time trial day thingies, and I would like a massage." The lady smiled kindly, and pulled out a small pamphlet of information on the different massages they provided. After a cursory glance, The Tod handed it right back to the lady. The black and white text just made his head hurt even more, enough so that he couldn't concentrate enough to read it. Surely, the lady would be able to suggest one of them for him. "Sooo... What's good for getting rid of pain, a headache in particular?" The lady paused for a moment as The Tod stared expectantly towards her. "I guess, acupuncture would help the most for a headache... but-" The Tod cut her off before she could finish what she was saying. "Ohh! An acupuncture massage, that sounds good, I want that!" The lady frowned slightly before donning a fake smile. "Are you sure? Acupuncture isn't really a massage... Do you know what it is?"
The Tod, being quite childish at the moment, responded in kind, "Hah, of course I know what acupunctum is. It's what I'm getting to fix my headache." The lady laughed half-heartedly very briefly before responding. "It's acupuncture..." The Tod turned back towards her, a quizzacal expression on his face. "Yeah, that's what I said, acuparcher." After shaking her head slightly, in mild disapproval, she came out from behind the counter. "It's right this way, please follow me." The Tod was lead down a hall with several rooms that lead to different masseuses and whatnot, and they finally came to a room that was a bit different. Most of the doors were unlabeled, but this one had a doctor's name on it. That must mean The Tod was getting a really good massage, at least, that's what he was thinking. After knocking on the door, they waited a moment before a stubby older man came forward and opened the door. "Right in-" The Tod didn't hesitate in brushing past the two, and hopping up onto one of the tables. "Time for my massage~!" The Tod chimed a few times while the doctor talked with the clerk.
"Massage?" The lady frowned a bit and looked towards the ground. "I don't think he know's what he's getting into... Can you be gentle so he doesn't freak out?" The doctor chuckled heartily, and began speaking soft enough so The Tod wouldn't hear. "I've met a few young ones like him, with my skills, he won't even feel the needles." The lady looked a tad less concerned after hearing the man's words. She then looked over to The Tod and waved goodbye. "Have a nice... massage. I'll be back when the session is over." The Tod waved back at her, then looked over to the doctor who was pulling on some latex gloves. The doctor looked back and smiled gently. "Well, Mr... what's your name?" The Tod smiled and responded. "I'm Theodore, but you can call me The Tod." The doctor seemed a tad disturbed by the name, but continued with his instructions. "Well, The.. Tod, why don't you take your shirt off and turn over. Then, rest your head in that hole at the end, and close your eyes." The Tod followed the instructions quickly, tossing his shirts into a heap on the ground. "Can this fix a headache?" The doctor looked towards The Tod's head briefly. "Of course. Now just lie down." Content with the response, The Tod threw his head onto the cushioning around the hole. It was surprisingly comfy, and he soon found himself nearly asleep due to relaxation.
"I'll start with your back, then I'll do your front upper body, then I can take a look at your head, n' see what I can do about those headaches." The Tod could only manage to mumble in his drowsy state. "Yes sir..." The doctor began spacing his fingers apart on The Tod's back, seemingly measuring distances between his fingers, and every now and then, quickly performing a plucking motion over The Tod's back. Each time that The Tod' felt the man's hand jerk, he felt a slight tingling on his skin, but there was no discomfort. Quite the opposite, the sensation felt very good, and alleviating. After a while, he felt small tugs on his back, and the tingling went away. Even when the needles were removed, The Tod didn't suspect a thing. "OK, I've finished your back, now roll over and keep your eyes closed." Silently, The Tod rolled over onto his back. With The Tod's face up, the doctor slipped a sleep mask over his eyes, to keep light from irritating his eyes, and to keep him from seeing the needles. Both the doctor and the lady at the counter were right in assuming The Tod hated needles. He had absolutely no idea what acupuncture was, and he'd have a panic attack if he did.
Once The Tod was settled, the doctor began placing needles on his front. With the skin on his chest and stomach being more sensitive, the tingling was more profound, and relieved even more stress. The Tod even found his mouth lulling open in an idiotic grin at some points. After most of the needles had been placed, without instance, the doctor turned around to a knock on the door. "I'll go check on that, you just stay still, and keep the mask on." The Tod was far too peaceful at the moment to suspect anything, so he followed the instructions with a simple, "K," as a response. The Tod could hear some talking out in the hallway, then a short gasp of surprise, then the sound of footsteps quickly leaving the area. The door then creaked as someone came back into the room. "Doctor?" The footsteps stopped a short distance away, "Nah, I'm one of his assistants. He had a slight emergency, so I'll finish off this session. There's just one more needle to be placed." It didn't take but a moment for The Tod to form a terrified grimace. Quickly reaching up, and feeling several slight pinches along his arm, The Tod pulled off the sleep mask to a horrifying sight. All down his front were hundreds of needles sticking out of his skin. Standing near the table was a somewhat shady man, not wearing the uniform of the people who worked there, holding a needle. This needle was thicker than the rest, and had something purple coating the tip. With a terrified gasp, The Tod jumped off the table, shoved the man and took off running, all the while ripping needles in handfulls from his front. About halfway down the hall, he started screaming, and by the time he reached the desk, all the needles had been removed.
In the front room, The Tod's antics were met with a slight grin on the counter ladies face, as if she had expected this. "Sir, please calm down!" The Tod wasn't thinking rationally, and couldn't really process what had happened at the moment. "Needles!" He didn't stop to keep chatting though, and ended up running out of the massage parlor, seeing a familiar face looking around outside. It was the doctor, and he seemed very confused. "My daughter wasn't looking for me out here... what was that man talking about?" Once The Tod saw the doctor, he had to stop and say something, but he still wasn't thinking clearly. "You tricked me!" The doctor looked surprised to see The Tod outside with him. "Theodore? What are you doing..." The doctor paused for a moment, then reached towards The Tod's head. In reaction, The Tod nearly jumped back, ducking backwards out of the man's reach. "Hey! Hold still for just a second." The Tod listened just long enough to see two needles pulled out of his temples. The whites of his eyes started rolling up as he saw them, but he maintained some control, and took off screaming once more. It wasn't until he stopped several meters away that he realized he was yelling without getting a headache. The acupuncture had done the trick, though, The Tod would never admit it. Once he had calmed a bit, The Tod took a seat on a bench to think over what had happened. In the back of his mind, he knew something was wrong, he just needed to mull it over for a bit.

It had been a long time since Glee had associated himself with people of the lower class. He had grown up rather wealthy so he was not used to being in the presence of the poor, or people in general for that matter. Recently he had been aimlessly floating through the seas, borderline starving while clutched onto his partner, Wiggles. He couldn't exactly remember when or what happened, but he was certain that he must have fallen off of a ship at some point in time in the recent past. While in this predicament, he ended up losing consciousness due to dehydration and general exhaustion. The next time he awoke, he was on a shore being poked with a stick. The wooden rod poked into his cheek relentlessly as if to provoke some kind of response. Slowly, Glee's eyes opened, causing him to cringe from the bright light. It was midday, and he was resting on a bank of sand several feet from the water. He must have been washed ashore while he was unconscious. As he began to push off of the ground with his hands, he felt another sharp jab in the cheek, despite his apparent state of awareness.
Looking over in the direction of the assault, Glee noticed the bright toothy smile of a young girl. She was probably around 8 or 9 years old, much too young to be mucking about on a beach assaulting strangers with a stick. As he looked onwards, Glee made a few subconscious observations of the young lady. She had a pair of brown pigtails as a hairstyle, with two red threads tying off the hair that hung down behind her head. She was wearing a similarly matching red dress, and she was barefoot. With a brief glimpse around the area, Glee saw no adults anywhere near by, which was a bit strange. Perhaps she lived close-by; otherwise it would be quite odd to leave a girl by herself in such a place. Another sharp jab prodded at his cheek as he was lost in his thoughts, and this time it was abrupt and interrupting enough to provoke a response, "What in the hell do you want?!?!"
The girl gave off a startled expression, before giggling profusely. "Eheh you said a bad word." This was all the girl uttered which left Glee a bit speechless. Not only had she hardly said anything, she didn't even answer the question that he had asked. An utterly useless response, which held absolutely no value. With a bit more effort, Glee climbed up onto his feet, and noticed a thick layer of sand sticking to his chest and lower body. He had been face down, so there was a bit on his cheeks as well. This simply would not do for someone as refined as him, so it was a problem that needed to be dealt with. After a few abrupt pats to knock the majority of the wet sand away, he looked down to see the girl watching him passively. He must be quite amusing to inspire such attention in a child, as children tend to lack an attention span. "So why exactly are you here by yourself?" His own question inspired a bit of alarm on his own part. He was also alone here on this beach, and he was never alone. Wiggles was always with him, and currently the massive beast was nowhere in sight. Before the child could answer him, he made a quick shout "Wiggles?!" as he tapped his foot hard twice.
The response of the worm took a moment, but Glee could feel a slight shifting of the ground below him. it meant that the beast was near which was a good thing. He couldn't have it off wreaking havoc without him there to enjoy it, that would just be rude of it. Again his thoughts were interrupted by the girl, but this time without the sharp jab. "Cus I live right over there!" She simply pointed off into the distance inland. Peering after her finger, Glee could faintly see a farm house not too far away through a thin patch of trees. Beyond that, the fields stretched as far as he could see. He must have landed in an area of agriculture. As he thought of the many foods that may be grown here, his stomach rumbled a bit. Being at sea for so long, he was hungry, and to a great extent, thirsty. Taking notice of the noise emanating from his abdomen, the girl simply grabbed his hand and started towards the house. "It's almost dinner time." He wasn't fond of being grasped by the filthy farm child, but if it meant food, he would gladly oblige. He tapped his foot a few more times as a signal to the beast that he was leaving before heading off. The girl had an odd pace, as she was rather fond of skipping. The slight jerking on his arm was almost irritating enough to give her a death sentence, but he had to hold back. His malnutrition outweighed his blood thirst, which meant Wiggles must be quite hungry as well.
Perhaps later, the girl could serve as a quick snack for the trusty companion. A grin spread across his cheeks as they continued. They closed in on the house, and the silhouette of a man chopping wood came into view against the sunset. It would be dark soon and he had not place to stay, perhaps he could acquire some lodging aside from the food. Glee had a feeling that he should at least act a bit more socially if he wanted to mooch off of these people. Hunching his back, and letting a reserved smile cross his cheeks, they approached the man. His intention was to appear genuinely starving, so he could work off the pity factor. Whether or not the man believed his act didn't matter, as they were more than happy to let a complete stranger enter their home. Apparently the area wasn't known to have vicious psychopaths wandering around willy nilly.
They approached the man, and he was a rather loud, hearty fellow. His muscles bulged from underneath his garb. He was in a completely different class of physical ability than Glee, so much so that he could’ve easily destroyed Glee should conflict arise. The large man was quite intimidating, and any thoughts of robbing the family, or harming them in any way quickly left his mind. He may need to passively standby for now, or he would certainly be dealt with, this Glee was sure of. After brief introductions, the man was glad to have a young man over to talk too, as it was just him, his wife, and daughter. The man didn't often get to have some guy time, between the farm work and his family, he didn't leave the estate much. Once inside, Glee was introduced to the wife, and got a formal introduction from the daughter as they hadn't actually introduced themselves to each other yet. It was a quaint little farm family, who were actually fairly wealthy. The island was apparently famous for its agriculture and export of vegetables throughout the world, so they made quite a bit from it. Their names were Charles, the husband, Elanor, the wife, and Candice the daughter, who demanded that Glee call her Candy which is what her friends called her.
Inside of the seemingly small house was decently sized, as it had two basement floors that went straight down. The earthy surroundings of the basements kept it cool in the summer and kept heat in during the winter so it was an efficient design. The top floor, under the roof where he was now, was simply a kitchen, and held all the immediate tools that the family may need to work the fields. The first thing Glee noticed after talking was a delicious smell. The wife was in the middle of cooking something, and it had a fantastic fragrance that made Glees stomach grumble even more. It startled the people because of the loud groan, which he had to explain that he was drifting at sea. "I don't really know what happened, I guess I went overboard and woke up here. That's where your daughter found me on the beach." The wife gasped, she was the dramatic type and found this to be quite a depressing story. "A-are you alright? Now that you mention it, you look famished! Let me serve you some of this, it should be about ready." She quickly stepped over to the stove and started pulling bowls down from a higher shelf. An attractive woman for sure, but sadly, not his type. She wasn't a worm so there was no way that Glee would have any interest. He didn't even look at her ass when she stood on her tip toes to reach up, though her husband certainly did. His eyes were glued to that glimpse as her shirt was pulled up.
The table was a floor down where their beds were also located. Elanor quickly took utensils down along with the bowls and set the table. it took her two trips because they weren't sued to having company. She had forgotten the extra settings for Glee. This got a chuckle out of him and the father as they waited patiently at the table. Candy also helped with the settings, and it turns out she's quite the clutz. She tripped on the stairs and dropped all the forks, making the chores more of a hassle, but it was another humorous moment. They lived off of simple pleasures like this, and saved most of the money in the house. They didn't blatantly say this, but it was hinted at when the father spoke of the family, and how they lived off the farm. There also seemed to be a lock box under one of the beds. The plan became much more devious in Glee's head, if there was money to be had, he couldn't be as passive as he had initially planned. As they talked, something perked his curiosity. Charles talked of how they rarely bought stuff, but when Glee had entered the house he had seen what looked like fertilizer for the farm. Where was he getting fertilizer if they didn't buy stuff? It incited enough thoughts to prompt a verbal question. "So, where do you get your fertilizer and such from?" Charles looked genuinely surprised at the question, before his expression changed to a sly grin."Ahh, that's a family recipe, I'll share some details with you later if you'd like." It was indeed a bit intriguing as fertilizers were fairly complex, and a simple recipe was not enough to make them, but he didn't see any chemistry equipment around the house. There was another floor below though, so that must be where it's located. Looking over towards the stairs he came down, as there was nowhere else to have more stairs, he noticed an iron hatch at the base. It must be a sealed entrance down, and if the security was that tight, the money may be down there as well, and not in the lock box as he had initially thought."Yeah, that would be interesting, I'm something of a chemist myself."
For the rest of the dinner, which happened to be a vegetable medley stew which they had home grown, there was very little conversation, aside from a few questions from Candy. These were often silly and childish, which drew a few more laughs from the group. It had been a very long time since Glee had acted so cheery with anyone but Wiggles, it was a bit refreshing bonding with other humans, but he knew it would be short lasted. His devious intentions required that he not get attached to them in the slightest, otherwise it would become much harder to accomplish. All he had to do was keep up his joyful facade for a while longer, and then he could finish up and make his money.
The after dinner treat was quite exceptional. I'm not talking about dessert, but the secrets that were locked in the floor below. Charles was going to let Glee get a quick peak inside, a tour if you will. He was by no means going to let Glee play around down there, nor was he going to give him the secret recipe, but he thought it'd be nice to talk chemistry with someone. His wife was, to say the least, a ditz, and didn't understand it in the slightest. Their daughter was much too young to have any valid input on the subject, so he had been somewhat lonely in his knowledge. Glee knew the feeling well as on the average day for him, he talked to a worm. Glee was quite friendless except for the large animal, so it ended up being his conversation partner. These 'conversations' were quite one sided as it turned out, but he had to talk to something, otherwise he'd go even... crazier. Charles stood from the table and walked over to the metal hatch and entered a combination unlocking it. He lifted it and it opened with a slight scarping noise. He then motioned for Glee to come over to him.
"I'll give you a quick little tour of the lab." This was by no means a little tour. Charles must have a lot of pent up conversation about chemistry within in him because he talked on and on. This was fairly annoying to the antisocial Glee, and furthered his resolve to act against the family. Regardless of the kindness they showed him, he was a pirate, and as a pirate, he wanted their money. That's all there was to it. They walked from desk to desk, vial to vial, and he spared no details. Down to the smallest of glass etchings on a beaker, Glee was shown everything. Being a man of formal education in science and medicine, he didn't learn anything new here. Charles just wanted to show off a bit, as it must be hard to get a lot of these supplies in such a rural place. The next thing he was shown was the cabinet containing hundreds of chemicals. Several were obviously present in many fertilizers, but there were a few odd ones, it was obvious he was interested in chemistry as some of these were definitely not in fertilizer, and must be used in other experiments. Perhaps in another lifetime these two could have been friends, but fate wouldn't allow. As the tour came to an end, Charles turned to exit the room. This is when Glees plan came into action. Quickly turning to the cabinet, he snatched a few samples and tucked them into his pockets. His thieve skills came in handy at this moment, as he hardly made any sound. Turning quickly, he followed Charles up to the floor above.
Once they were up, Glee was made to move away so that he couldn't see the combination. He had been secretly inspecting the lab while they were down there, and he had seen the chest where something was locked in. Charles had made an effort to avoid walking near it, probably to not draw attention. This had to mean there was something important in it. Glee couldn't come to any other conclusion. What he didn't know was if it was the secret formula for the fertilizer, or if it was money. It could potentially be neither, who knows(aside from Charles of course). Looking around up stairs, he noticed that Candy was tucked into bed, and was listening to a bed time story. Apparently it was bed time for the family. Charles tapped Glee on the shoulder and began whispering quietly, "We have a cot you can use for the night, in the morning I'll run you to town, from there you’re on your own." This was a bit colder than he had expected, but it was a fairly obvious solution. "I understand, thank you for your hospitality." They had no idea who he really was, they were just being good hosts to him, and they also had a daughter. It was more logical to have him leave as soon as possible in case he did turn out to be dangerous. Sadly for them, they should have taken him to town that night instead. As everyone’s head hit the pillows for the night, Glee lay silently, contemplating his next move while he waited for the rest to doze off.
Soon the sound of snoring was coming from the bed that Charles rested in. It was the time to make his first move. Pulling the vials containing chemicals from his pockets, he began pouring very small quantities into the syringe in his medical kit. What he put in there wasn't much, but it was enough to kill, or at least make someone incredibly sick. What was healthy for plants, was deadly to humans in this scenario. Silently creeping over towards Charles' bed, he readied the syringe. Not a single noise could be heard as he reached the side of the bed, just next to Charles' arm. Pulling back the covers just a bit to expose skin, he hunched over and inserted the needle. It was a quick practiced motion. As he did so, Charles grunted and rustled a bit, but remained relatively still, and didn't awaken. With a smile, Glee pressed in the plunger, sending the terrible cocktail rocketing through Charles' blood stream. After the deed was done, he crept back over to his bed where he lay down in wait for the ensuing events. It shouldn't take long for it to take effect, as Charles had stored some pretty dangerous stuff down in his lab. Glee almost laughed when he heard the choking sounds that drifted through the air. It was all about to start.
Minutes passed as the choked coughs continued until finally there was a loud hacking followed by the vile noises of regurgitation. The splatter could be heard as it spread across the floor. After the vomiting stopped, he began gasping in pain and moaning quite loudly. At this point, Glee was no longer the only one awake. Elanor was rushing over to her husband, and Candy was looking around in a daze as she had just woken up. Once the other two were up from their beds, Glee followed up by slowly standing from the cot. It creaked as his weight was lifted, feigning a yawn he began speaking, "Wha-hawwwwwn. What's going on?" After pausing and rubbing his eyes a bit, and stretching his limbs, he looked over at the wife who was in a panic. "Oh god, is he sick? What's happening?" After he spoke Elanor simply stared at Glee for a moment as she thought of something to say. She must have been in shock or something at the severity of her husband's sickness, but tears slowly drifted down her cheeks. "I-I don't know what to do." She was incredibly morbid at the moment, another attribute of her dramatic personality that Glee had noticed earlier. Though, with her dumbed down senses due to the shock, his job became a lot easier. Manipulating someone who's brain is working at half capacity is much easier.
"Don't worry, I'm a Doctor, I'll do what I can, though i don't have all of my supplies with me." Glee walked over and put his hand on her shoulder to reassure her. He knew that physical contact can have a beneficial effect on the psyche as well as inspire some trust. It did appear to be working as well. A faint smile crossed her cheeks, though she was still racked with worry, as shown by her eyes and shuddering voice as she spoke. "R-really? You'd help us? Please just save him!" This caused an expression of discomfort on Glee, not because he felt bad, but as a part of his act. "Like I said, I don't have all of my supplies here, but I'll do what I can, just take Candy up stairs, I don't want her to see if this gets ugly." Glee grasped her hand and lead her over to her daughter. Slowly, she hunched over and told her that everything was alright. That Mr. Glee was going to help daddy, so they just had to wait upstairs. Candy hadn't known what was happening to begin with, so this actually caused more problems than it solved. Now the girl was crying because she thought something horrible had happened, which of course, it had. Once they were up the stairs, it was time for part two of his devious little scheme.
This step in the plan was actually going to be tricky. He had to act carefully and appear quite honest, but he also had to be quick, because with the severity of the poisons onset, Charles would likely die very soon. Glee must have mis-measured the chemicals, as he's not used to working with expensive materials. He may have a formal education, but he hasn't been in a lab for a while, as he's been wandering with Wiggles. Glee approached the vomit, watching the floor very closely. He didn't want to step in the vomit, that would just be vile, and it already smelled horribly. Who knew vegetable medley could carry such a sour stench. Glee proceeded to just behind Charles at the head of the bed, where he could talk to him. The choking noises had died down and he was moaning. His eyes were open, which showed some semblance of consciousness. Hopefully he would be able to speak or mumble in such a state. First things first, Glee had to make sure he was actually awake. "Hey, Charles, it's Glee, can you hear me? Don't speak, just blink your eyes." It took a moment, but it was quite clear. Charles eyelids fluttered up and down for a moment after Glee had asked. it was good that he could understand what was being said. "OK, I regret to tell you this, but I can't save you. You are going to die. Blink if you understand, as you know your body better than anyone else." Again, after a brief pause, and some tears trickling down the large man’s cheeks, the blinks came in a similar fashion to the first time. He knew he was going to die. "You will be leaving your wife and child when you die. They have nothing. Where do you keep your money? They need something to live on. Blink if it's in the lab, don't blink if it's somewhere else." Again, after a brief interval, the blinks came and this time Charles turned his head to look Glee in the eyes.
"Ughhhhh he-hey" He sounded to be in intense pain as he struggled to speak. "Shhhhh, don't talk, we need to be quick. I will take care of everything, I promise. Save your words for your final goodbye." This time Glee grasped Charles by the cheeks and held his head so they looked into each other’s eyes. "I need the combination to the locks. First the door, then the safe. Be very careful in your response. Blink once for each number, then pause before blinking the next one, OK?" Charles managed to nod his head a bit in response. "OK, first lock." Charles followed the instructions well. it was a four digit lock, and the numbers were 1-1-8-5. Glee grabbed something to write with and scribbled this down."Now the second lock." This time Charles paused a moment, as if thinking about the response. He must have noticed that he had never told Glee about the second lock, but after a pause, he continued. The second lock was also four digits. The combination was 2-6-6-1. Glee wrote down this code quickly as well. "I'll go get your family now, just wait a moment and you'll be able to say goodbye." Charles turned his head back into resting position and managed to mutter something. "Thank you." It was very quiet, muttered under his breath, but Charles did manage to speak. Glee stood and looked at the man, before heading up the stairs. He had to break the news to his family.
The stares creaked, and with every step he took, Elanor shuddered a bit. When Glee got up the stairs, she was standing in a corner crying, while clutching Candy to her chest. As glee stepped towards them, he looked forlornly at the ground. Before he even reached her to start speaking, she already knew what he was going to say. "Oh-Oh no..." It wasn't as loud and dramatic as Glee had expected, but it was very genuine. She let go of Candy and slowly slumped down onto her knees. No matter what, she wasn't going to take the news well, that was for certain. Meanwhile Candy still had no idea what was happening. All she knew was that it had to do with her dad, and that Glee was supposed to help him. She was crying, but that was more in panic as her mother was a mess. Even if the mother already knew, Glee had to tell the daughter. "I-I'm sorry... I did all that I could, but without a proper facility... it just wasn't possible. He's... going to pass on soon, this is your last chance to speak to Charles." Reaching down, Glee grasped Elanor's hand and pulled her up onto her feet. She was too weak to do it by herself, and he would also need to help her down the stairs. What a bother. Gripping around her waist, he slowly lead her and Candy down the stairs to the dark room where slight moaning could be heard.
As soon as they got down there, the moaning stopped. Charles was a proud man, and likely didn't want them to see his weakness. Even in such a predicament where he knew he would die, he still clutched onto his pride. If anything, it only disgusted Glee. This may come as odd too some, as Glee is also a very proud man, but Glee isn't proud of himself, he is proud of his knowledge, and his creation. As they crept passed the table and over towards the bed, Glee released Elanor and let her take the last few steps. She wobbled, but managed not to fall. As she reached the bed, she dropped to her knees and gripped Charles hand in hers. This mushy scene was too much for Glee, he didn't like such things so he stepped to the side and let them continue. They spoke quietly, Candy being the most silent. It must be hard for such a young girl to see the strongest person in her life fading away like that. If Wiggles died in front of Glee, he would panic for sure, and would be obscenely depressed over the matter. The conversation was short and sweet until the final moments. Their last 'I love you' was interrupted by violent spasming on Charles’ part. He began quaking back and forth, panic in his eyes, before utter silence. His hand fell limp from Elanor's grasp, and she just sat there until morning.
Glee tried to be as helpful as he could bear to be. He patted her on the back, and took Candy back to bed. He tucked her in and had her sleep, while went back over to comfort the mom. She didn't speak, she just sat there staring at the man's face. It was a bit weird, and as a doctor, not something that they usually let happen. Reaching over, he gripped the blanket and tugged it up over the man’s face. He didn't mind her sitting there like that, but it was creepy to stare in a trance at the face of a dead person. She sat for several more minutes, a couple hours even, but Glee had to do something. He finally took action and walked over to her. He already knew what the next phase of his plan would be, so he might as well start setting up. "Hey, hey Elanor, I'm going to need you to back away now, if it's contagious there is a very large chance you could catch it." As he grasped her shoulder to pull her away she shook him off. He tried once more, but she looked up at him, anger in her eyes. "He's my husband. Let me stay with him." She was right, he was her husband, but if this were an actual disease, she was being very risky. "I know you love him very much, but you also love your daughter. What happens if you catch it and leave her by herself? Huh?!" She clenched her fists for a moment while staring back up at him. Her lower lip began to quiver, and once again she began to cry. "You are right. It's just... It's just it was so sudden..." As she finished her statement she clutched her arms around his waist and began weeping. Glee simply stroked her head and tried to comfort her. "Shhh... shhhh... shhh... it'll be OK, I'll help you guys through this. Get back to bed, I'll clean this up and we will bury him in the morning."
It was a pathetic sight as he helped her shuddering body over to the same bed as her daughter. They needed to be together in their shared moments of sorrow. After he helped her down, Glee headed up stairs for some cleaning supplies, and to arrange something. First things first, he went outside and went behind the house a little bit. After a few hard taps of his foot, the ground broke in front of him and Wiggle's head popped through the opening. "Hey boy! Good boy, good boy, yes you are!" He said this with excitement, but he had to tone it down. He didn't want anyone to hear. After a few pats on the large animals head, he could tell it was hungry. It wasn't as active as it normally was, and it wasn't as receptive to his joy. "Ahh you're hungry. I have a body for you, we just need a hole, and I'll get it to you tomorrow OK?" It most likely didn't understand his words completely, but with gestures and the general trust between the two, the message got across. Glee tapped his feet in four places, forming a rectangle, and soon, the ground between them was swallowed into a tunnel below. Wiggles had let its tunnel collapse allowing the dirt above to fall in. It then pushed the dirt onto the surface next to the hole. It was a decent size for a grave, so it would work.
Wiggles had successfully made a grave sized hole, though it may be a bit too large, it would work quite well. For good measure and to make it more convincing, Glee smeared some of the fresh dirt on his pant legs, and some on his hands. The cherry on the top so to speak was a shovel he found just inside to the right of the doorway. It was a decent shovel, so he needed to muck it up a bit as well. First off, he rubbed his hands on it quite hard to give his hands some chafing from the material. He also got a splinter or two which hurt, but it was all for the sake of appearances. After he finished dirtying the shovel, he walked over to the pile of dirt that Wiggles had procured and stabbed the shovel into the ground just next to it. Now that the hole for the body was taken care of, there were also other parts of his plan that needed to be taken care of. For one, he needed to make another convincing setup for the plan in the kitchen. Sneaking down the stairs again, careful not to make much noise, he knelt down in front of the metal door. Reaching into his pocket, he slid out the small paper he had tucked away the night before. It held the combinations for this door and the safe, and in moments he had begun entering them. As he slid the numbers on the door up and down, there were minor clicks but it wasn't that loud. His heart jumped when he heard some creaking coming from behind, but it was just the two rolling on the bed a bit, they hadn't awakened. Fearful that delaying would up the chances of exposure, Glee quickly entered the last couple digits.
With a slight scraping noise, the door opened, the whole while Glee was watching the two on the bed, he didn't want them to know he had the combination just yet. Once it was mostly open, enough for him to get through, he slid into the gap. The room was dark, and he didn't want to light it, and potentially wake anyone up, so he just felt his way around. From what he had seen the day before, Charles kept the place tidy, all glass away from the edges, and dangerous chemicals all in a cabinet. The table surface was gold as his hands glided across the surface, towards where he knew the cabinet was. Once he got to the other side, he had to guide himself along the wall with his hands until he felt them brush against the size of the large container. His hands fumbled for the handle for a moment, but he did end up finding them, and with a flip of the wrist, the latch came undone and the doors swung open. What stood before him were several rows of chemicals, and the rest of the glassware that didn't fit on the tables, or just needed to be put away. For this part he may need some light, but he was far enough in that it wouldn't leak to the floor above. Glee knew that dangling above in this general area was an oil lamp, but he had to swing his hands above his head a bit to find it. Next he had to brush over it to find the igniter, but he did so, and the fires glow emanated around the side of the room. With light at his aid it was time to grab the things he needed.
The main thing he wanted to check was if there were more of the chemicals left that he had taken. He had enough to make 3-4 more lethal doses, but who knew how much longer he would need it. He was in an unknown environment, with absolutely no idea where he was. If there were more people he had to deal with, he needed to be sure he could deal with them, especially if they were all big and strong like Charles. The problem was that there weren't. Sure, he could throw together some chemicals that could kill someone, but he wanted something with a similar effect if he was going to play this off as a disease. The only thing he could do was make something with the vomiting. It would be deadly, but it wouldn't leave people as short of breath and twitchy like Charles was. Anyways, it would have to do, as there as nothing else he could use, though, if he visited other houses, he may be able to find something. The second things he needed from the cabinet were things that changed colors when they reacted. He was going to use some more acting to his advantage, and with this advantage, he could easily infiltrate other houses. He found something that would work fine for the act. It was a mix of chemicals that turned blue when they were combined. It was perfect for the stunt he would perform. With all the chemicals he needed, he premixed the poison, so he wouldn't have to do it on the scene, and then he grabbed some extra vials and beakers to use in his displays. All of this was tucked into a satchel that he could carry around easily, then Glee reached up and switched of the lamp. He had no more business in this room until he came back down to steal the money. There was no reason to take it now and walk around with it. For one, if it was as sizable as he was hoping, it would be heavy. Secondly, it would be incredibly suspicious if he were to walk around with the money of the people’s home he had just visited. Even if he claimed it was for just causes, there would be no reason to believe him. The one last thing he wanted to do was locate the safe, and check the combination. Just to be certain it worked, otherwise this was all for naught. He was just about to head over, when he heard the creaking from above. Now it was time to prepare for the next day, not check his gains.
Glee hustled over towards the stairs he came down, the several containers clinking softly in the bag. It wasn't all that loud, but it was annoying to hear over and over, especially when you are trying to be silent. It dramatically upped his apprehension over the situation. He quickly darted up the stairs, putting his weight on his toes, and trying not to bump into the metal latch on the way out. If glass hit that metal it would make noise, and even worse, if it broke, it would spread dangerous chemicals down his back. He was squeezing through the small opening with the bag slung over his shoulder. It was probably no the best setup to be fitting through a small opening, but he managed. With little trouble he was through the gap and turning around to seal the latch. Using his foot, he pushed it down, and it clicked into place. Next he slid his foot over the small numbers sending them into random positions. When it wasn't too close to the actual combination, he glanced over at the bed. They were indeed starting to be a bit more active in their movements. They would probably be awake soon, though at this point he was pretty safe. Now it was just small stuff.
Glees next focus was the 'lab' setup in the kitchen up stairs. The word lab is used lightly as he will be doing very basic stuff, such as mixing and simply stirring. There would be no real chemistry going on, aside from some small color changes in the liquids. How it worked was he had a base, and then he had an acid/base identifying solution. When the identifier was introduced to the base, it simply turned blue, inversely, if it was introduced to an acid, it would turn red/orange in color. It started out as a faint pink in color. The benefit of using this is that it wouldn't change color in the presence of blood as blood was pretty close to a PH of 7, which is relatively neutral. Ideal for hiding the identifying solution in. It was perfect for acting like he was performing a blood test of some sort, especially since the two girls had no idea how any of this worked. Charles was quite confident that they didn't know a shred about chemistry, or science in general. That is, unless, you consider cooking a science, which, to some degree, it is. Just not the kind of 'science' that would be useful in this situation. Glee spread some of the beakers on the counter, and filled one with water, and one with the base. These were going to represent the 'same' chemical, as glee would use water on one of their blood tests and the base on the other. He would simply leave some of the identifier in the syringe when he drew blood from the mother. Once those were out, he had to rinse the syringe. it was the only one he had, and it may still contain some poison which he didn't want to inject in them yet. Once he was satisfied, he set it to the side with a small dab of the pink solution in it. When he grasped the syringe, his finger could easily cover it. He had everything set up ideally, now he just had to wait for them to wake up so he could weave his lies.
With lack of sleep, he almost passed out as he sat upstairs in a chair waiting for them. Sure, he hadn't physically dug the hole or anything of the sort, but it was stressful, he had worked as hard as he could, and he had recently been drifting at sea. These factors together could potentially make a man tired. Luckily, before he dozed off, Candy came up the stairs rubbing her eyes and bumping into things. She bumped into his chair, into the counter, and into a wall as she fumbled around for a cup. She got one from a cabinet and filled it with water before sitting next to Glee and drinking it. She looked more tired than anything, but there was a distinct undertone of sadness. She must have cried all she could last night, because no more tears were flowing. Her mother on the other hand still had tears dripping from her cheeks as she fumbled up the stairs. At least she had gained some strength in her lower body, unlike how she was the previous night. It was going to be quite the forlorn morning. Like her daughter, she filled a glass and started drinking. Neither seemed to care about the things on the counter, they just kind of sat in the chairs, completely distant from reality. Glee took it upon himself to kick start the day’s activities. "Well, last night I dug a hole for Charles behind the house. It is large enough for him, and it's in a nice spot near a tree. I think we should take care of him first before we get to some other serious matters." Elanor simply nodded in response to what Glee had said. She probably wasn't going to talk much for a while, she was quite stricken for grief. Unbeknownst to her, this silence would be short lived. They remained quiet as Glee went downstairs to get the body. He tightly wrapped the blanket around it and slid his arms underneath, which was a bit awkward. He wasn't used to physical stuff like this when it came to bodies. When he had inspected cadavers they were usually on a cart of some sort. He also recalled his distinct dislike of the smell. He had better be quick so as not to get too much of it on him. It was a tad unorthodox how he lowered the body, but he couldn't think of any reasonable ways to do it. The family didn't seem to mind, or at least they didn't protest it, but Glee still felt odd throwing a body into an open pit. Once it was set in the hole, he took the shovel he had placed, and started scooping dirt down onto him. The girls were still too dismal to say anything, so it was a silent funeral.
What a grueling endeavor it was to have to manually scoop the excessively large pile of dirt onto the body sitting lifeless below. Glee grunted with every scoop, and slowly hovered it over the hole before rotating the handle of the shovel and allowing it to fall down. It was a monotonous task that Glee really did not enjoy. Squelch, then a distinct grunt as he hoisted it up, then a soft patter as it fell below. The sequence of noises repeated over and over, and thinking about it was driving Glee nuts. He hated this repetitive sort of thing that also required effort. It was the worst kind of job, especially for someone of his status. A doctor and still shoveling dirt into a hole, this wasn't how the world was supposed to work. Though, to be honest, he did understand that it was his fault, and that it was a necessary task in order for the grad fruition of his devious plan. Despite all this, he hated it, and it made him want to repeatedly stab something over and over. But once again, this thought drove him to internal madness as it was the same type of task he was currently doing, just in a different fashion. Glee was quite disgusted at how pathetic he was thinking about all this. He needed to tough it out and just move the dirt. Like the glorious worm, all he had to do was move the dirt because his goal rested just beyond it. As soon as the thought of worms came to mind, he instantly relaxed. His unfounded respect for worms was disturbing to some, but he cared not. Worms were the embodiment of god. He even began smiling as he did the task, which in turn caused a gasp from his side. The wife stared at him in disgust while he smiled. Glee, quickly grasping at words in his mind to form a sentence managed to say something believable. "Ahh, sorry, I was just thinking about how nice he was to me, a complete stranger... I couldn't help but to smile at his kindness."
She seemed to accept the response and backed off a bit, which caused him to quiver. The strain in that moment as his heart skipped beats was incredible. He was surprised he still had the strength in his arms to continue. His own stupid obsession almost got him caught. He needed to be more careful with his act, so he rushed through the rest of the dirt in order to get to the next part. Satisfied with his job, he patted down the dirt with the shovel, and turned to the two. "Let's head inside, there's a test I have to do to make sure you guys aren't infected as well." Elanor once again gasped, but this time not in anger. It was completely in fear, not only for herself, but for her daughter. "You... you think we could have it as well?" Glee looked straight at her before responding. "I have no idea, but it's a possibility. I tested some of Charles' blood last night, and was able to figure out how to tell if someone is infected. It's a simple test that I will perform on both of you." Still afraid from the potential outcome of the test, Elanor hesitated for a long moment, but ended up quietly agreeing as all three walked into the kitchen. Glee headed over to a bucket of water and cleaned off his hands for the task. He had to at least pretend to care about being sterile with human patients. Once his hands were clean, he walked over to the counter and took the syringe that he had prepared beforehand. He paid special care to keep his finger over the pink liquid inside so that they couldn't see it. With his hand he beckoned for Elanor to come over. "OK Elanor, I'm going to test you first. I just need a small sample of blood."
She looked quite disturbed by the needle, and was quite intent on staying seated where she was. She must have been quite afraid of needles, or something to cause such a phobia. Glee needed this to proceed smoothly, so he decided to appeal to her motherly instinct. "Now now, don't let Candy see your fear. You have to appear strong, especially in this time of need." The comment must have struck home, because she almost immediately stood, and walked over to Glee's side. "OK, I'm going to prick your arm right here, it'll only feel like a slight pinch." Glee quickly inserted the needle and started pulling on the plunger. Once there was a visibly large enough amount of blood in the syringe, he drew the needle from her arm, and stuck a piece of cloth over it. "There. All done." Looking at the syringe, the fluids had mixed quite nicely. You couldn't tell by looking that the blood was mixed with anything. Next, glee grabbed the beaker with the base fluid in it and began talking to explain what was happening. "This appears to be a bacterial infection of the blood. It is deadly, as you have seen. When I mix it with this fluid, if there is bacteria present, it will 'freak out' and produce a blue liquid. that is how we know if you are infected." Holding the needle over the beaker, he pressed down on the plunger, squirting some of the blood into the container below. Almost immediately, the color turned from red to a purplish color. There was clearly blue around the edges, indicating that Elanor was 'infected'. As she saw this, her hands shot up to her mouth, as her face contorted in fear. She was in danger of once again going into shock by the time glee got to her. She lost strength in her legs and began to fell. Using his arms, glee quickly reached under her armpits and held her up. Candy got up and ran over to them, but Elanor now crying pushed her away. "NOOO. Do not come near me Candice... Not you too.... I won't lose you too." This aggression from her mother caused Candy to well up in tears and run outside, but Elanor was right. If she was infected, she should keep Candy away from her. "I'm... I'm so sorry Elanor. Let me take you downstairs to your bed, then i will go test Candice as well. If... in worst case scenario she is infected as well, I will let you two be together." She smiled slightly at the end of the statement, but was mostly zombified by the news. Draping her arm over his shoulder, Glee lead her down to the bed where he left her by herself.
This outcome was quite to his liking as the daughter was out of the house to see what happened next. As Glee ascended the stairs, he stared directly at the counter where he had placed the needle from earlier. It was about time to get things done. Going through his things, he pulled out the poison he had used on Charles. There was enough for roughly 3 people left so he had to be careful with the amounts that he used. Taking the syringe, he squirted the rest of the contents out and gave it a quick wash. Once it was nice and clean, he dipped it into the treacherous fluid that he would soon be using to silence Elanor. With a slow jerk, he pulled back the plunger and got what he thought was enough. Once it was in the needle, he carefully headed towards the stairs. it would be bad if he got bumped and pricked himself, he certainly didn't want to die by his own hands. Once he was at the base of the stairs, he turned and looked at Elanor with a soft smile. he took the few steps towards her bedside and peered down at her. She was staring up at him looking quite curious as to what he was going to do. "This should make the pain more bearable so you don't suffer. I don't want you screaming out in pain when Candy comes to say goodbye. Let me see your arm real quick." He grasped her arm gently and lowered the needle towards her skin. Her eyes closed as the tip touched against her skin. She really did not like needles. As it slid into her flesh, she gasped a bit, but was relatively silent. With a press of his thumb, the fluid was sent sweeping through her veins. "OK, I'll get her back here as quickly as I can." Like her husband, Elanor had nothing but kindness for Gleeford as she muttered "Thank you," in a whispered tone.
Once Glee turned around to leave, he cringed. He hated such mushy scenarios quite a bit, even more so because it was directed at him. It just left him feeling slightly caring inside and it was a feeling he didn't like. Luckily, she wouldn't be able to do it much longer. The stairs creaked as he climbed up once more, and he headed for the door. The door opened with a gliding motion, and the sun went directly into his eyes. While they had been busy earlier digging, and inside dealing with medical situations, it had gotten bright out. Shielding his eyes, he looked around the area, scanning for any sight of Candy. He didn't really care about letting her talk to her mother. He just needed her for the next part of his plan, and couldn't have her running away. He walked out a bit towards the field and looked off into the distance but he saw no sign of her. He took a few moments checking around the outside of the house, and he even walked out onto the hot road to look off down it. He couldn't see her way off in the distance, and it's not like she was fast, so she must be somewhere closer. It took him a moment, but he felt like an idiot once he realized it. The place where they had first met, the beach, was where she liked to hang out by herself. Where else would she go if she was feeling lonely?
Sure enough, as Glee went behind the house and peered through the trees, he could see the red dress against the dark ocean. She was just kneeling down at the base of the water with her head hunched over. She must not be handling the situation well, though, who could blame her. Her entire like just went to shit, and she was still a child. Glee walked quickly through the trees in her general direction. Some leaves crunched gently below his feet as he went. Once he reached the sand, he kicked off his shoes to not get them dirty. As he walked through the sticky sand, making a plopping sound, she turned to look at him. Surprisingly she wasn't crying anymore, she was just sitting there forlornly. Glee had half expected her to be completely flustered and bawling her eyes out. It's what any normal child would be doing in a situation like this. She still might end up a mess too, which is why Glee decided to to talk slow and calmly to try and keep her calm as well. "Hey, how are you doing?" She paused for a moment as she dragged her finger through the sand, making a distinct line. "Go away..." Glee got a little closer and sat down on the mess next to her. If he wanted to seem more intimate, he had to be willing to get a little messy. "Now now, don't be like that. Let's go talk to your mom." She glanced up at him for a moment, but continued to trace into the sand. After a moment, what she was writing became apparent. She was writing 'MOM' into the sand with her index finger. "Come on, she wants to see you." This time, Candy got a little angry when she looked at him. "That's a lie, you heard her too, she doesn't want to see me anymore." Her eyes got a bit wet as she said this. Glee had apparently struck a nerve, and she was on the verge of throwing a fit again. "You know that's not true. She just doesn't want you to get hurt because of her. She's very sick, and she'd really like to see you." Her expression softened a bit at this, but she still didn't seem willing to come with him. This confused him a bit, he would never understand the minds of children, but he'd have to move on with the situation anyways. "She's going to die. Do you really want her to die thinking you don't love her?" This phrase was much more direct, and he could tell it dealt a large blow to her conscience. She looked genuinely scared at the prospect of her mother dying, especially at the part about her hating her mom. "I-I don't hate her!" At this point Glee knew he had won her over. So he continued with his word play. "Well, she doesn't seem to think so." Candy was getting more into the conversation, which gave Glee more confidence. She was more easy to manipulate than he had thought. His last statement had provoked another response. "But, that's not true!"The last challenge was over, all he needed to do now was seal the deal. "Well then, let's go let her know." As he said this, Glee stood and reached down to Candy.
Candy slowly reached up and grabbed Glee's wrist to pull herself up. Once she was up she shook some of the sand from her dress. There was a momentary patter as sand fell to the ground. It took her a moment to shake her legs a bit. They probably fell asleep from sitting there the whole time. It hadn't been all that long, maybe 30 minutes, but the sand was cold, it was quite possible that they had gotten stiff. Once she was up and ready to move, the proceeded together through the trees towards the house. He hair blew every which way as they went, there was a bit of a breeze passing by. It was a very nice day, aside from the tragic events that were soon to come. Coming to the back of the house, they rounded towards the front. Candy stared at her father’s grave as they passed it. The wounds in her heart were still quite fresh. Sadly, they would be torn wider in the minutes to come. Glee reached out and swung the door open. It slid open with a loud creak that made him cringe. It had scraped against the ground a bit producing a loud squeaky noise. Once they were in the top room, Glee noticed it was rather quiet in the house. If what he hoped had happened did indeed happen, then he would be pleased. His desire was for the mother to already be dead, which is why he had allowed Candy to stay outside for so long. The more drama between her and her mother, the less he would be able to stand it, so he had been trying to minimize the time for their meeting.
Leading the way down the stairs, he had her wait back a few steps so he could check first. When he got down to the base of the stairs and walked into view of the bed, he almost jumped. Elanor's eyes were wide open and staring in his direction. This was not the part that had caused fear in him though. The thing that had startled him is that her face was twisted in pain, her mouth hanging wide open. It was a feral expression that was built into human genes. Pain tended to contort the face by causing muscles to tense. Aside from the terrifying expression, she was completely motionless. "Do not come down here. Wait a moment for me to check on her." He was a bit late with his words, and he was made aware of this when he felt her bump into his back. "Don't open your eyes! You can't look at this." Hopefully he was in time with his directions, otherwise the mess he was avoiding would transpire. If Candy saw her mother like this, she would likely be sent screaming outside. She might even run to another house, and he didn't want all the attention that would receive. "Did you see it?" There was a brief pause that seemed to last ages, but she eventually responded. "See what?" Glee sighed in relief hearing these words. She either hadn't seen it or was extremely adept at hiding her emotions and lying. This was not likely, so he simply assumed she hadn't seen. "Nothing. Turn around and walk back up the stairs." She was hesitant, and extremely confused with the situation, but she listened and turned around. After she had taken the few steps to the stairs and started on her way up, Glee started moving again. He pulled the blanket up over Elanor's face and tucked it under her. Two bodies in one day was not fun to deliver to their graves, but he would have to do it again. He had to hide his evidence, and the ground was an easy place to do so.
Glee quickly went up the stair to talk to Candy. He had to explain the situation somewhat, as he still had uses for her. He couldn't have her left in the dark, because that would create suspicion. He needed her trust for things to progress smoothly. She was sitting down when he got up there, and she wasn't looking too happy at the moment. Quite the opposite indeed, as tears were streaming down her cheeks. He might not even have to tell her, she probably came to the correct conclusion. Despite this, he thought it would be better to say it directly. The conversation didn't last long, and she took the news quite well. She did cry, but she was not a frantic mess that couldn't be amended. Instead, it seemed as if she was emotionally numb. She Cried silently, and didn't move much while he was in her presence. At least she would be easy to manage from here on out. Glee went outside and grabbed the shovel. It was time to pretend he was digging. Once again, he marked a location and had Wiggles clear it out. He then had some dirt piled up next to it so he could fill it in. After the initial setup was done, he sat on the dirt pile, and every few moments hit his shovel on the ground to make some noise. It sounded convincing enough. After roughly an hour, he went back inside after smearing dirt on his hands and legs. Candy didn't even look at him. She just sat still in the chair, her tears were no longer flowing. She must have run dry. "Well, it's time to do the funeral. I can't let you see the body, but you can see the burial." She didn't respond. This was fine, he didn't have to hear any whining, and she wasn't off running about where he'd have to look for her. Glee couldn't have asked for a more perfect setup, and he was quite thrilled at his future prospects. After this dumb burial, and a nights rest, they would be off to hit a new house. Of course, Candy didn't know that she would be helping him greatly.
With the hole dug, Glee needed to head down and scoop up the body. This was not something he wanted to experience again as the last time it was quite foul. Not because of the stench of death, but the stench of vomit. It was fresh and nasty enough to cause him to gag. He wrapped the sheets and blankets tightly around the body to seal off the stench. The stairs weren't long, so it wouldn't be too hard, it's just that he hates lifting stuff. What's the point of having a massive worm if it isn't doing all the lifting? Glee pondered this as he began to kneel down and lift the corpse. As his hands came upon what felt like the arm, he recalled something. He still needed to perform the blood test on Candy. He obviously knew she wasn't sick, but it was a part of the plan that he needed to complete. He also really wanted a reason to delay his handling of the corpse. This was a perfect excuse, as he really did need to do it at some point. Slowly releasing his grip on the appendage and turned towards the stairs. He climbed the steps in a frantic manner as he wanted to escape the foul stench in the air. Once he got to the top floor, he was greeted with the blank stare of the young girl. She really did seem devoid of all energy. It was odd seeing the shell of a former energetic girl sitting before him.
The stare lasted but a moment before he snapped out of his momentary daze. For some reason he felt guilty about the things he was putting her through. He had to quickly subside these thoughts so that he could continue. Stepping towards the counter, he reached up and grabbed the few things he needed, namely the syringe. With the container of water, he thoroughly cleaned the instrument. It was easy enough to clean of the toxin that was present in the tool, but he needed to appear professional. If it was indeed a contagious disease, he needed to appear thorough. Once he was sure no traces of any blood were left inside it, he turned slightly to beckon to the young girl. "Before I get too occupied with burying your mother, I want to perform your blood test, you know, just to make sure. You haven't shown any symptoms so I think you're okay." She looked up at him briefly before sliding her bottom off of the seat. She had no intentions of disobeying him at this point. She most likely felt he was trust worthy. Her response was a mumbled, "Okay Mr. Gleeford." Looking down at her, Glee smiled softly so that she could see. "Now, there's no need for formality, just call me Glee." This time she didn't speak, but simply nodded in his direction. Holding out his hand, he waited for her to lend him her arm so he could draw some blood. Once he grasped it, he quickly inserted the needle and began drawing blood. She hardly had time to wince at the pain before he had finished. With the blood obtained, Glee quickly reached over for the safe beaker and started stirring some of the blood in. Nothing happened as the red fluid swirled lightly in the water. It was subtle, but there was a brief sign of relief on the girls face. Despite her sorrow for her family, she herself was happy to be safe. "Whelp, looks like we are all done. Why don't you wash up and then we can perform a small funeral." Glee disappeared back into the floor below to grab the body, leaving Candy to wipe herself up. She didn't have much time as her mother was fairly light, allowing Glee to quickly bring it up.
The trek down and up the stairs was short, but Glee could hardly bear it. The entire time he held his breath as he rushed up the short set of stairs. He didn't even pay Candy a glance before he hustled through the door and out towards the hole in the ground. Carefully, he lowered the mother in, just as Candy was exiting the door. She stared in his direction as the body came to rest on the cold ground below. "So, do you want to say anything before I start?" Glee looked at her with a serious expression on his face as he awaited the response. Candy opened her mouth for a brief moment as if to start, but quickly shut it. She was hesitant to speak. Glee didn't wait another moment once she had backed down. Grasping the shovel, he once again began scooping the dirt into the hole. The second time was much worse as his arms were stiff and a bit sore. This kind of task was so menial that he hoped to never perform it again. The upside was that with each scoop, he grew closer and closer to his goal. He would use the girl as a tool to get into houses. They would warn people of the disease and Glee would offer to test them. Candy would serve as an alibi and a testament to his skills. She had seen him perform the test on her and her mother, and as far as she knew, he was quite accurate. He had also been kind to her which would aid in the deception. Before he knew it, the hole was filled, and the sun was dipping behind the horizon. It was time for bed, and in the next morning they would leave.
The night was rough for Glee. He couldn't get a wink of sleep due to the environment he was in. It wasn't the smell, it wasn't the guilt he should have felt, and it wasn't the lumpy bed. There was one thing that kept him up, and that was Candy. He had decided to sleep upstairs, yet he could hear the loud cries coming from below. She had cried the day before, run out of tears, spent a whole other day waiting as her mom died, yet not shed tears. She had bottled it up, and in her dreams, it seeped out. It was unbearable for Glee. He had worked hard that day with his manual labor and he just wanted some sleep. This must be that 'karma' they spoke of. He killed two people, so he wasn't allowed to sleep that night. Luckily, being a farm girl, Candy was up at the break of dawn, finally granting him some silence. Glee took this opportunity to head into the basement. With glee he collected the spoils of his efforts. It wasn't nearly as much as he had hoped, though, the best treasure of all were the chemicals he could use to hit other houses. He would have never dreamed that such a perfect opportunity would present itself to him, and yet it had. He was now equipped to go on a crime spree the likes of which Greensland had never seen. With some help from the child, and perhaps a few more cohorts, they could crush this island and make an enormous profit. Now all he needed were some partners. Taking Candy with him, they were off on the road towards 'better' horizons.

Nintaijutsu requires both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu as specialties. Since you have the reserved spot, I'm guessing it is for Senjutsu for later down the road, or you just don't know what you want for it. If this is the case, fill it with Taijutsu to have nintai, otherwise swap out nintai for something else.
Everything else looks good. Also, since you're a shinobi of B-rank+ you can also have an alias if you wish, though it is completely up to you.
