| - Academy Jutsu:
Name: Bunshin No Jutsu Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: E Element: None Type: Ninjutsu Range: Description: Hand Seals; Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance and thus this clone can do absolutely no damage at all in any way. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse. The number of clones able to be produced is determined by the user's rank as follows. D Rank; 2 Clones. C Rank; 3 Clones. B Rank; 4 Clones. A Rank; 5 Clones. S/SS Rank; 6 Clones. 4 round cool down.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu No Jutsu Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: E Element: None Type: Ninjutsu Range: 50 feet Description: One round charge up rather than hand seals; Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object, this object must be something like a log or stone roughly the same size as the user. The size doesn't have to be exactly the same as the user but what this means is a person can't replace themselves with a leaf or a twig, nor could they replace themselves with a giant boulder, if questions arise over uses of this technique contact an admin but any decision they make is final. In addition this can not be another person unless that person is willing. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. These objects or other people must be within 50 feet of the user when the technique is performed. There is a 5 round cool down between uses of this technique and it can only be used a maximum of 3 times per topic.
Name: Henge no Jutsu Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: E Element: None Type: Ninjutsu Range: Description: Hand Seals; Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, while transformed only the user's shape and appearance changes. Meaning that if say the host turns themselves into a sword they won't be able to cut anything unless their body could do so naturally. This technique lasts for 4 posts with a cool down of 2.
- E-rank Jutsu:
Name: Quick Sheathing Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: E Type: Supplementary Element: N/A Range: Self Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 0 posts Description: A technique that allows the sword to be resheathed quickly. As the sword is swung (though always after the attack hits or misses), the sword is turned in the wielder's hands mid-swing so that it can be returned to a scabbard on the opposite hip. A base technique of the Phantom Blade style.
Name: Secondary Draw Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: E Type: Supplementary, Defensive Element: N/A Range: Touch Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 0 posts Description: A technique that makes an attempt to stop the sword from being drawn out of the sheath dangerous for an opponent. Instead of the classic method of drawing the blade, the sword and scabbard are shifted so that the blade is facing upwards. This means that an attempt to grip the wielder's wrist will result in the opponent's hand being cut by the blade. Can only be performed correctly if the wielder's SPE statistic is higher than the opponent's.
- D-rank:
Name: Sword Ejection Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Supplementary, Offensive Element: N/A Range: 5 feet Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 5 post cooldown Description: An extremely simple technique which requires a single post in order to gather chakra before activation. The user gathers raw chakra into the scabbard until the pressure reaches it's desired strength. During this time, the user's hands must be holding the scabbard and the sword. The sword is then allowed to release, either as part of the drawing of the blade, or as a projectile attack that causes minor bruises to the opponent. While the projectile method is used primarily as a diversion, the actual drawing method can be fairly destructive, as it increases the cutting ability of the sword by one rank for this strike only. This does not stack with any other increases to cutting ability and does not raise the cutting ability by more than C-rank.
Name: Genbu Parry Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D Type: Defensive Element: - Range: Touch Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 5 posts Description: Typically the first technique learned in the Five Beast Step style. The parry is fairly simple, but also difficult to master. Rather than a typical fencing parry, which is only a quick flick of the handguard to knock an attack away, the Genbu Parry is a full blade movement that can guard against thrusts, chops, and swings. The user turns their body aw ay from the blow, or in either direction when a thrust is used, and uses the flat of the blade to stop or redirect the attack, with the wielder's blade facing the opponent. This causes an opening in most defenses for other techniques.
- C-rank:
Name: Seiryu Thrust Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: 2 meters Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 5 posts Description: This technique is only used after a successful Byakku Strike and is the third technique of the Five Beast Step style. After the opponent is knocked backwards by the strike, the user focuses chakra along the entirety of the blade before thrusting it forwards, causing a surge of chakra to be launched at the opponent. Following this chakra thrust is the user of the technique, blade pointed at the target, who is pulled forwards by the vacuum left in the wake of the chakra blast. Due to the quickness of the chakra charge-up, the chakra thrust is little more than a blunt push when it reaches the opponent, capable of causing bruises and surprise, but little else.
Name: Sunburst Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: C Type: Offensive Element: Katon Range: Touch Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: Immediate Cooldown: 10 posts Description: After performing one full post of handseals, the user blows fire chakra into their palm, collecting it together. This condensed fire chakra gives off an inordinate amount of light, earning the jutsu it's name. Upon contact with the target, the chakra causes an intense burning sensation, leaving behind second degree burns on the skin and burning through clothing as it comes in contact with the chakra.
- B-rank:
Name: Sunburst Blast Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: B Type: Offensive Element: Katon Range: 5 meters from center Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 6 posts Cooldown: 12 posts Description: After two full posts of handseals, the user blows fire chakra into their palm, collecting it together and condensing it to add so much more fire chakra than the original technique. The chakra then is thrust into the ground, causing the earth to heat up around the user and raising the general temperature of the area to the point that those with an Endurance statistic lower than the user can suffer from heat exhaustion after 6 full posts within the area of effect. Note: cooldown times listed for Sunburst techniques are the number of posts between one use of a Sunburst technique and the use of any other techniques of the Sunburst family.
Name: Shujaku Flurry Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: B Type: Offensive Element: N/A Range: Touch Specialty: Kenjutsu Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: 6 posts if used outside of the order of the Five Beast Step style. Description: Typically used as the fourth technique of the Five Beast Step style. This attack can follow a failed Seiryu Thrust if the opponent parries the thrust into a different direction, or if the thrust lands after the blade is pulled away from the opponent. Following the motion of the opponent's parry (or immediately following the sword being brought back to a ready fighting position), the wielder charges the sword with chakra during a swing so that the chakra bursts forth from the blade upon contact. This action can be repeated for as long as two posts in a flurry of attacks aimed at an opponent's sides. The blasts of chakra are rather weak due to the short amount of time between blasts of chakra, but each attack is powerful enough to cause painful bruises, causing the same damage a punch from the user would cause. The chakra blasts can hit even if the blade itself is blocked, unless the opponent can block more than half of the blade this attack is used with. This technique allows the user to make fives strikes per post against the opponent.
