The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Shigeru was being forced to raise yet another batch of children. Yes, Shigeru had to make these snot-nosed brats into mighty warriors to protect the glorious Hidden Glacier. The last pair of kids he had were quite the handful. Not in the sense that he had to constantly keep track of them but rather because they were strange. Very strange. In fact, he wouldn't have been surprised if they had murdered more men than he had. Though, judging by demeanor, the boy probably enjoyed women and children far more. This was all assumption of course, and the time he had spent with them was... interesting. But now it was time for a change of students. Shigeru wished he wasn't such a good teacher.
Had you asked at the academy what Shigeru wanted to become, he most definitely wouldn't have listed team leader, but the Emperor himself had forced his hand and so now this was his role. Maybe it was Shigeru's fault for becoming a jounin too quickly. Perhaps it had made him seem eager to please. Even if Isais was no longer directly his boss, he still would follow his orders and perform as a squad leader. Shigeru didn't want to be called sensei, though. He was hardly older than the people he was meant to babysit.
Which one was he suppose to meet today? Eh, who cares. He'd meet them all in due time. Shigeru wasn't quite sure why he was meeting them all separately. Seemed impractical since they were going to become a team sooner or later. Why not just have them all meet at the same time and get to know each other instead of him. Yet this was the new procedure he was being forced into. Shigeru wasn't one to just go break the rules willy nilly. So he'd just wait on the big frozen rock in the middle of the cave for four consecutive days, freezing and alone, while his new recruits each wandered in to meet him. How unpleasant.

Michio Jiin had no problem with meeting his sensei in the cave, as it was one of his regular training spots. It was a deal warmer than the rest of the village as well, which Michio did not much mind or care about either way at all, but Hareegh the fire salamander was very excited about. He crawled out of Micho's pocket, up his shirt, up instead of his usual under the vest, and perched himself on top of Michio's shoulder and below his hair shortly after the pair entered the network of caves.
Michio had always been proud of his abilities in spite of how very humble he acted in regards to them, so he was beyond excited by the idea of becoming even stronger. He was aware that he was only a Genin, and that bothered him, but he was ecstatic about the idea of becoming something more. He knew that once you got into a squad that was all about the idea of becoming something more, at least a chuunin by the end of their shinobi career usually. He intended to go as far as he could without becoming the Kage or any similar type of leader, as it was very taboo in his clan to take on that type of position. And though he would not easily admit it if pressured, he was also very nervous that he would not meet the expectations of himself or of the others.
The moment that Michio found another ninja proudly displaying the same symbol that he so happily wrapped around his head each morning, he came to an instant bow, assuming that this man was most likely the one who had been chosen to train him. Instead of the traditional bow of this area, he came down to one knee, bowed his forehead down, placed his right hand over his heart, and pressed his free arm against his lower back. "Michio, of the Jiin clan," he said without raising his eyes to meet the young man, "It is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope to have many productive training sessions with you."

Seijuuna looked around, slightly getting lost. She was a ninja with a little no sense of direction and it was bothersome for her. Now, she really understands on why her dear older brother has despised her though, there might be a deeper reason than her lack of sense of direction. Her chapter of life might end if she wouldn't study the map of Hyouga since who knows? One day she might freeze to death just finding the right way to her brother's house.
Seijuuna sneezed as she covered her mouth. Now that she had realized it, she had caaught a cold due to the temperature of the weather. She wouldn't be sick, her immunity system was stronger than any element in the world. And of course, that was an exaggeration. All she knows was that, she will never ever get ill even if the weather is colder than Hyouga. It takes more than colds to make her ill. Oh, how she wished that she was in a tropical country or village. Seijuuna had always dreamed about it but it would never happen because of her becoming a Genin. She cannot travel to the outskirts of Hyouga since there may be missing nins that may ambush then slaughter her.
She dragged her feet to wherever fate was taking her to. Her clan weapon were not helping her at all as it was kind of heavy. It wasn't everyday that it was heavy though, it actually depends on how many minutes or hours she had carry it. She would have gotten to the Misty Caves if she weren't too confident about not getting lost to somewhere that she had not went to. She stopped in her tracks and looked around. She always rely on her senses and guessing of directions, but the result of succeeding most of the time was 50-50. She nodded to herself and went to the right.
She can't just give up, this is a chance of meeting her sensei! And she was waiting for this day to come. One, two, three hours of walking was done by Seijuuna by just lurking around the place where she was in. She stopped walking again, and analyzed everything that was surrounding her. The temperature was not as cold as before. Her eyes stopped travelling from every detail that her eyes were seeing when she saw a really really really familiar nin that she had forgotten the name of and another older nin than the red head ninja. Her, without thinking, ran to where they are, they weren't near nor far but it was exhausting with every step she takes. who wouldn't be tired in walking for... 'who-knows-on-how-many-hours'? She was hoping that this place was already the Misty Caves.
She stopped running and panted heavily from were the two males were. She inhaled deeply and stood straightly. "I'm Seijuuna! And... is this the Mystic Cakes?" She asked and wasn't really sure if she had said the name right.

Not exactly as planned but this would have to do. Couldn't send them away now. That would just be rude. "My name is Shigeru. I am to be your squad leader.", he said to them with a stern look. He didn't plan to get to know them on a personal note. He wanted to keep this closer to a business relationship than a personal one, if he could help it. "You may call me Mr.Shigeru, or Leader, or Great one." he would say with a serious face. That last one was a joke but it wouldn't be the first time people had misread his casual kids due to his serious demeanor. "Also, no, there are no cakes here that I know of." he said to address Seijuuna's question. He figured he would take a brief pause in order for them to introduce themselves to one another. Whether they actually did or not didn't matter to him as he'd just continue on regardless.
"Alright, so tell me what you can do. Preferably what you can do in relations to being a ninja. Although if you have any other skill you're proud of, you're welcome to share." He added that last part in due to past experiences. but he cared little to what kind of housework they were good at or if they could juggle or not. Sure, perhaps getting to know them was part of the job, but he really doubted either of them had anything interesting to say. They both looked rather dull in Shigeru's eyes. He himself looked rather lack luster, but this didn't stop him from judging them based on their outside appearances as well.
If he had to pick which of them he'd rather work with at the moment, he would probably have picked the lizard. He seemed the most vibrant. Michio's hair also quite vibrant. Too vibrant in fact. Those gorgeous red locks looked like they would garner a lot of attention. Ah well. Wasn't his problem. If he could hold himself in a fight then who cares? Seijuuna, well, she looked small, petite, could probably fit in a luggage bag quite easily. She didn't stick out like Michio. She didn't look very threatening, but that didn't matter. Many ninja don't look threatening. It doesn't take away from their actual abilities. Yea, he should be able to work with them as long as they behaved. Not like he had any sort of choice. Even if he demanded another squad, he was on a pretty lackluster terms with the emperor and in turn the Kage. Although, Shigeru can't deny that ever since the coup d'etat, the village has definitely changed for the better.

Michio slowly got back up from where he was crouching down in his deep and sincere bow. He nodded at the man who gave him a list of titles by which he could be referred to and said, "It is an exquisite experience to meet your acquaintance, Mr. Shigeru." All of the response controlling training for the average butler that Michio had received as a young member of the Jiin clan was now being tested accidentally by his new sensei. He maintained his smile in the name of displaying respect to his new team leader, but he was definitely going to have to work at it to feel respect for this individual. He had no respect for himself or the two shinobi who were placed under him. A sensei was meant to be called a sensei and any ninja in the village hidden in the glaciers should seem excited about contributing with their higher duty to the Kage and the emperor. This man was bored and disrespectful, but instead of making an issue of it Michio was going to be respectful enough to make up for the man's lack of respect.
Michio wondered if maybe the man was just masking his enthusiasm because he was an exceptionally trained ninja when he asked about personal skills and things of that nature, but still very firmly had his doubts about the whole situation. He decided that he was just going to have to answer and see what happens, or so he supposed. Michio, as a Jiin clan member, had a lot of things he could share with the man to be proud of. He began to state them with all of that aforementioned pride in his voice. "As a red haired member of the Jiin clan, I am a fire jutsu user specialist. My fire jutsu take up slightly less chakra than when another ninja uses the same jutsu. I am also signed up as a scout," he said and flashed his puppy dog badge to the man, "so that I can work well in tracking situations, my fire salamander produces neuro toxin that when put on a weapon can even shut down the vital organs, and I am trained in hospitality, which helps even more for reconnaissance missions. I hope that these are not horribly disappointing, Mr. Shigeru." Michio was feeling pretty confident by now.

Seijuuna was quite disappointed to hear that there were no cakes in the mystic cakes. Cakes.. cakes... cakes... Caves! How can she forget about that? She was not yet sure about Mystic though. Her glutton over food must have took over her mind. "Deep words...." Seijuuna mumbled, she was not and never will be a ninja of deep words. Speaking in formality wasn't her best skill, though, this doesn't mean that she does't understand any of it.
"Hmm..." Seijuuna hummed as she thought the things that she do as a ninja. "I can do training. My jutsu elements are Raiton and Suiton. My best skill is eating!" Seijuuna said the last part proudly. There was nothing to be ashamed of, it was the truth anyways. Her sentence may not be as formal and proper as the red-haired guy's was. At least, she still did speak up and tell the truth to Mr. Shigeru. The Jiin clan member can be a really good role model for Seijuuna whilst the great one can be a really good leader! But she does believe that looks are really deceiving so she'll just wait and see on how their true colors will reveal themselves as time passes by. Her realization of not introducing herself properly made her slap herself. She bowed quickly, that made her feel like that her brain just moved from its place. "I am Seijuuna of the Haikyuuren family, Great One!" She said, calling him great one, since he does look like a great sensei and leader anyways.
She stood up straightly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Great one!" She said cheerfully. She hoped that her sensei and also the red haired person would like her because... her brother doesn't really like her. She'll try her best to not to make a fool of herself the next day, since she's already making herself one by just stating that eating was her best skill but it was actually. Lying wasn't her expertise nor does she like lying and is considered as a bad liar. When she lie, she always ends up to speak of the truth. So she will always be honest to these two guys and hoped that they'll do the same. There was not a problem to the red head one though since he does look like that he is really honest and cheerful but yet again looks are deceiving. She must always watch her back and not fall from someone's trap.

At least they were respectful, albeit the girl was an air head (Although the ability to eat is very important) and the guy reminded him of some sort of house servant. He was sure they had some sort of name other than that. He couldn't quite recall what it was though. It was mentioned as a joke, but actually being called Great One wasn't too bad either. He kind of liked it. If she wanted to continue calling him that, he had no objections. Maybe it would look bad from an outsiders perspective. To have a man servant and a girl calling him the great one following him around would look peculiar. He would resemble something more akin to a VIP than a genin squad leader. "Please, the pleasure is all mine." he'd say as a little grin found its way to his face while he imagined him with his own little entourage. It truly made him feel more important than he actually was.
How unfortunate, though. They both only told him what nature transformations they could perform. Well, there was probably no better time to tell them that he had no Ninjutsu capabilities whatsoever. "Well, I am sorry to say that I can't teach you two anything about Ninjutsu. You'll have to do that on your own time.". They were probably much farther along than he was in chakra transformation and could probably beat him if they were limited to ninjutsu only. That was ok, though. Shigeru was confident that he outclassed them in every other area. His body was trained to be much tougher than other jounin, more than enough so to make up for his lack of ninjutsu ability. It also helped that he had clan weapons of his own that were far stronger than most jutsu. He was quite proud of them as well.
Hmm. Was there anything else he needed to get done today? Laundry day was soon approaching. That wasn't what was bugging him though. Perhaps he'd let the two genin mingle while he prepped something up. Oh, yes. That would be wonderful. What better way to teach teamwork than to have them do simple housework or catching a stray animal. Perfect genin work. Shigeru's house could use some work. Boards were becoming loose. Door hinges needed oiling. This seemed ideal. Before he'd force them to provide free labor, he should probably ask them the other basic stuff that he was told as a genin. May as well give them the whole experience while he was at it. "So what do you hope to accomplish as a ninja." he said, looking at Michio first, expecting him to answer before Seijuuna.

Michio was hoping that he was leaving an interesting or memorable impression on his sensei with the much longer list of skills and proficiencies under his belt, but he had an unsettling feeling that the sensei was not especially worried about either of their capabilities in battle so far. Maybe he had asked only to be polite to the two of them, or maybe he was trying to wrap his head around the relevance of Seiijuna's listed skills. and it could also be a sad possibility that their newly appointed shinobi sensei was more fond of the young girl who was boosting his ego than he was in much of anything else at that point in time. Whatever the truth about the case was, he was going to do his best to remain as courteous and professional as one possibly could in any potential situation. Proper manners and general politeness were all that one had in some situations, so he was going to cling to those things forever.
Michio was disappointed by what Shigeru sensei had to say about his inability to teach any ninjutsu skills, but more for the sake of his newly appointed teacher than for for himself. Michio had the proficiency in ninjutsu that one may expect from a Chuunin already, and with his ability to conserve chakra it was similar to what a properly trained Special Jounin could do. It was the physical skills like taijutsu and kenjutsu, as well as the more mental ones like genjutsu, or maybe even fuuinjutsu that Michio was going to need to learn. "I am absolutely fine with that, Mr. Shigeru. I am already very proficient in my ninjutsu skills. It would very much please me if you would train me in something I am not already aware of. I am sure that a man of your rank could teach me an entirely new specialty like Taijutsu. I would greatly enjoy a Kenjutsu skill, but if another team member has either already I see no need to learn that one unless you think otherwise. My main goal for now is to properly compliment my team members." Michio was very sure that he would be able to trump the other ninjutsu users of his rank using only his own time for training that specific trait.
Instead of immediately turning to words to answer Shigeru sensei's question about his plans for his shinobi career, he first pulled down the left side vest that he wore over his white dress shirt to reveal a puppy dog badge that denoted his place as a village scout. This was a definite point of pride for him. "I am working on becoming a member of the Lycan Force so that I can protect the village that has supported me all of my life and strike down those who would seek to harm the beautiful order of this place. I guess that I am still a child in the sense that I want to save my fellow villagers and catch all the bad guys out there." This was a rare moment of emotional openness for Michio Jiin. His aspirations as a ninja were something that were very important and even more emotional to him.

It was really understandable for Seijuuna that their squad leader cannot teach them ninjutsu because of the fact that their chakra natures may differ from each other or because he doesn't specialize in ninjutsu. Though, she was hoping that he can teach them Kenjutsu since she really love Kenjutsu but of course, food is what she loves more than anything else but she had to set the thought of food aside. She had always dreamed and wished about meeting her team. Seijuuna hadn't expected that she would actually graduate from the academy because of her, really low grades that made her sulk in her room for a week, literally. She made a vow to herself that she would do her best once she had graduated from the prison Academy she was in before. It wasn't hard to conflate with these guys. The red haired dude looks like a descendant from a very rich clan while her sensei does look a great one, as she calls him, himself.
"That's fine, Great One, sir! I'm not really good at ninjutsu, myself." She admitted not caring if she had just made a fool of herself, made her sound an air headed girl or a weak person, honesty was the best policy anyways and white lies can be heavy lies as time passes by as Seijuuna had believed it to be. She had started to look up at Michio because of his choice of words. She, who is living a good life with her brother cannot speak those very words that her teammate was speaking like. Seijuuna was happy that someone had took interest in kenjutsu since kenjutsu was her second to the best skill while her best skill was eating. She isn't really a master of kenjutsu but she knows the basics of it and would have passed every exam in the Ninja Academy if it was only all about kenjutsu.
Teaching the both of them kenjutsu was a really nice idea since she would like to know on what her weapons may do and she wouldn't go out anymore if she would train herself or would get lost whenever she tries to find the exit. Maybe he can teach them or maybe only her, to climb on the wall, trees or anything using only the feet like other cool ninja do. That would be certainly cool and something that she can brag about to her brother even though she was sure that the percentage that her brother would only care about it was like 0.00001% or completely a 100% no care at all. So maybe, she'll just tell it to someone else.
"What I want to accomplish as a ninja?" Seijuuna pondered for a nice answer for a moment. "I want to be the greatest ninja that has ever live throughout the history!" Seijuuna said proudly, spreading her arms widely in the air then sets them down after a moment.

(OOC: The surprise Camping trip is the deadliest) Both answered the question with pretty standard answers. Although Seijuuna had a much larger goal in mind then Michio. Shigeru liked that. Big goals were fantastic. He himself had big goals when it came to what he wanted from being a ninja. Yes, he wanted to be rich. He wanted his own faction, he wanted to be the emperor. Unfortunately, that last one would be near impossible to accomplish. Shigeru couldn't see him taking on Isais for the throne anytime soon. Yes, he was quite the scary man. So frightening that even Shigeru's hubris bowed down before him. Now that was truly saying something. "Indeed, Indeed. Fine aspirations." he said to the two genin in front of him. "Well, I can't say I will help you achieve your goal, but I do plan on making you stronger." he should probably address the more technical side of this partnership with the troops before he lost their attention. "Alright, so from now on we will do many joint missions with this team. I will choose the missions, but I am open to suggestions. Also, just because we're doing missions together does not mean you can't take missions on your own. You are more than welcome to perform missions by yourself, in fact, its recommended that you perform work on the side to improve your proficiency on both solo and team missions. Do either of you have any questions?" he'd say wondering what he would really have them do. As much as he wanted them to clean his house, if one of them were to squeal to anyone then it would be likely that he'd get reprimanded. Although that may be worth it for a cleaner house. Perhaps the benin had their own missions in mind that they would gladly like to do with the team. Preferably something they would be unable to accomplish on their own. No, Shigeru should probably start small. He didn't want to have to intervene on the first outing after all and have them develop bad habits, like relying on sensei to bail them out.

"My only question for you at the moment, Mr. Shigeru, is how high ranking of a mission can we take with your supervision?" Michio was dripping in his hubris now, viewing himself as above the average genin cut. This left him feeling tired of basic D rank missions that he was allowed to take on his own at his current rank, bit still desperate to go out and further himself. Ambition and pride were surely an annoying combination of traits to have, but in times like this they worked in excellent tandem. Any other sensible organism who knew Michio's skill level, including Hareegh who most definitely did, had deep reservations about him asking that question.
