| Inventory Weapons:- Shuriken:
Name: Shuriken Type: Throwing Rank: E Quantity: 21 Description: Shuriken, like kunai, are one of the more basic weapons seen in Naruto series. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, pin down enemy shinobi, or if accurate enough, can be deadly. They have an open circle in the center, useful for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also beneficial to the weapon's overall aerodynamics, ensuring more accurate trajectories. Abilities: N/A History: In addition to the basic shuriken, larger, arm-length shuriken have been seen in the series. They are usually carried on the back or stored in scrolls. The Fūma Shuriken is of a similar size, but is more lethal and can be folded together for easier storage. The Demon Brothers wear a metal gauntlet each that houses a retractable shuriken chain. During the Chūnin Exams, one of the weapons Tenten threw at Temari was a fairly large shuriken that resembled a manji ('卍'). The shuriken of the Land of Birds are a little bit different. It has three-pronged metal stars instead of four. There have also been seen shuriken with bent points. Toroi of Kumogakure employs the use of slightly angular, square-shaped shuriken of varying sizes, ranging from those similar to the typically observed variant to ones nearly as large as his own person. One of the weapons created by Iō was a useless shuriken that had so many points that it was impossible to grab
- Kunai:
Name: Kunai Type: Throwing/Blade Rank: E Quantity: 3 Description: Kunai, along with the shuriken, is one of the most common ninja tools in the Naruto series. It is a black dagger designed for thrusting and stabbing, though it can still do some damage if thrown despite not being designed for it, and is about the length of one's hand. Abilities: Many shinobi attack by attaching an explosive tag to the blade. The kunai is usually thrown so that it lodges in an object near the target, and then the explosion from the attached tag destroys the target. This use of the weapon is known as an explosive kunai (起爆クナイ, kibaku kunai). Kunai can also be kept on spring-loaded wires up the user's sleeve, as seen in Naruto Uzumaki's fight with Sai when they first met. They can be used for close combat, like a normal knife. Empowered with chakra flow, kunai thrown into targets can cut through solid wood and even solid stone targets. Shinobi appear to favor them so much due to both their sturdy and dependable nature, as well as their evident versatility. History: Historically, in reality, the kunai were just simple farming tools. When the Japanese emperor announced Martial Law and banned weapons, farming tools were among the easily disguised substitutes adopted, mostly because of how cheap they were to manufacture.
- Ninja Wire:
Name: Ninja Wire Type: Wire Rank: E Quantity: 4 Description: A long, thin wire that can be used in many applications of use. Abilities: N/A History: Wire strings are thin pieces of wires that are highly durable and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as rappelling, manipulating weapons, binding and restricting the movements of an opponent or setting traps. Each wire is 10 feet on its own. Armor:- ANBU Mask:
Name: ANBU Mask Type: Metal Mask Rank: C Quantity: 1 Description: A one of a kind mask that covers the face with a hard material, assumed metal, worn by any respectable ANBU. It has a single blue jewel at the center where the forehead would be. A line comes down from the top of the forehead, over the eyes and down the cheek, ending in a dot. This is repeated on both sides of the mask. Abilities: Protect up to rank C forced taijutsu and weapon attacks. History: This mask was made to fit no one's face but Cornelia's. It was hand crafted by a skilled blacksmith and artisan to both protect her face and look unique at the same time. It was made when Cornelia was born and it was changed every year till the day she was given the mask to wear.
- ANBU Forearm Protectors:
Name: ANBU Forearm Protectors Type: Forearm Protectors Rank: C Quantity: ∞ Description: Placed on the part of the arm between the elbow and the wrist and protect the entire upper half of the forearm. These bracers are used to ward off blows that would deprive the wearer of their blade or provide a moderate defense against enemy weapons. Abilities: Protect up to rank C forced taijutsu and weapon attacks. History: Vambraces (French: avant-bras, Polish: karwasz, sometimes known as lower cannons in the Middle Ages) or Forearm guards are tubular or gutter defenses for the forearm worn as part of a suit of plate armor. Vambraces may be worn with or without separate counters in a full suit of ANBU armor. The term originates in the early 14th century. They were made from either boiled leather or steel. Leather vambraces were sometimes reinforced with longitudinal strips of hardened hide or metal creating splinted armor.
- ANBU Chest Plate:
Name: ANBU Chest-Plate Type: Cuirass Rank: C Quantity: ∞ Description: A piece of plate armor partially or completely covering the front of the torso: used by itself or as part of a cuirass that is a defensive armor for the torso comprising a breastplate and backplate, originally made of leather. Abilities: Protect up to rank C forced taijutsu and weapon attacks. History: Corslets provided with both breast and back pieces were worn by foot-soldiers in the 17th century, while their mounted comrades were equipped in heavier and stronger cuirasses. These defenses continued in use longer than any other single piece of armour. Their use never altogether ceased and in modern armies mounted cuirassiers, armed as in earlier days with breast and back plates, have in some degree emulated the martial splendour of the body armour of the era of medieval chivalry. Both the French and German heavy cavalry wore cuirasses in parade leading up to World War I. In the early part of that conflict, they painted their cuirasses black and wore canvas protection covers over the neo-Roman style helmets. Some years after the Waterloo, certain historical cuirasses were taken from their repose in the Tower of London and adapted for service by the Life Guards and the Horse Guards. For parade purposes, the Prussian Gardes du Corps and other corps wore cuirasses of richly decorated leather.
- ANBU Shinguard:
Name: ANBU Shinguard's Type: Shinguard's Rank: C Quantity: ∞ Description: A stiff protective garment worn by ANBU to protect the shins. These greaves are used to ward off blows that would deprive the wearer of their speed or provide a moderate defense against enemy weapons. Abilities: Protect up to rank C forced taijutsu and weapon attacks. History: Japanese greaves, known as suneate, were first introduced during the eleventh century, during the late Heian period.[5] The earliest suneate consisted of three plates of metal covering the shin.[6] By the Kamakura period (1186 - 1333), suneate became a standard part of Japanese armor. Around the Muromachi period (1334 – 1572), suneate eventually became a splint mounted on a piece of fabric with mail in between the metal splint and fabric, not unlike European greaves. This is the most common form of suneate, termed shino-suneate, and saw continued use throughout the Momoyama period (1573 – 1602). Sometimes, mounted soldiers used the old three plate suneate that was used during the late Heian period and Kamakura period, known as tsutsu-suneate. Like its European counterparts, most suneate contain leather padding on the interior to reduce the impact of blows and to make the armor more bearable to its wearers.
- ANBU Glove:
Name: ANBU Gloves Type: Ninja Gloves Rank: C Quantity: ∞ Description: A plate on the back of the hand proves protection against blades and other harmful objects. Under the cloth are a set of claw-like blades that are tiny and can be used for getting a grip on the side of walls, trees, buildings or the like. Abilities: Protect up to rank C forced taijutsu and weapon attacks. History: Historically, gauntlets were used by soldiers and knights. It was considered an important piece of armour, since the hands and arms were particularly vulnerable in hand-to-hand combat. With the rise of easily reloadable and effective firearms, hand-to-hand combat fell into decline along with personal armour, including gauntlets. Some medieval gauntlets had a built-in knuckle duster. When the hand was bunched into a fist the backhand protection becomes pronounced from the fist just above the knuckles, this allowed the user to utilize the gauntlet as a melee weapon while still protecting the hand from damage when punching. However, against an armed combatant the use of this feature would have been risky so it was very unlikely that a gauntlet would have been used in this way when a more suitable weapon was within reach. But if the user had no other means to defend themselves the tactics they would have employed would be to attempt to surprise the opponent with this inconspicuous attack, possibly by dodging and countering, aiming for exposed areas of flesh such as the face or weak areas of armour, such as under the arm or the groin. A "Demi-gauntlet" (also called a "demi-gaunt" for short) is a type of plate armour gauntlet that only protects the back of the hand and the wrist; demi-gaunts are worn with gloves made from mail or padded leather. The advantages of the demi-gaunt are that it allows better dexterity and is lighter than a full gauntlet, but the disadvantage is that the fingers are not as well protected.
